1. Basically what ShadowMage said.

I believe Discord never truly was evil, he was just a smiling troublemaker (In contrast to other villains like Queen Chystalis, who had an agenda to seize power). He needed to LEARN, much like how a misbehaving child must LEARN how to act appropriately. Clearly, he understandably had a lack of empathy before having a friend, but when he gained one, (and note, he only had one) he initially didn't care about Fluttershy leaving him. but she was his only friend EVER, So it obviously felt like a knife to the heart when she said that she wasn't his fiend anymore. Anyway, Discord hasn't really been reformed either, he still stated that he preferred Ponyville 'his way', and promised Celestia to use his magic for good 'most of the time'.

Celestia leaving made sense, It was designed to test the mane six (and Fluttershy in particular). Still comes across that she is a troll though xD

The episode outstanding overall, I think they could of expanded on the story and gave it much more time to develop over 2 episodes, but time management wise? I think they did a brilliant job pacing it out. Leaving Discord's 'reformation' till the end of the episode was a good idea. It imprinted the fact that... you know? It is hard to make an ancient god of chaos to change his ways. Animation was impressive as always, especially when Fluttershy's cottage was being rotated by Discord.

Best episode in the season? Definitely!

Best episode ever?.... Maybe... Just maybe.

  2. Huscarl snarled slightly before stepping back a little, He wasn't even within the knowledge that he himself was making dents into the floor. His mood shifted to a more apologetic feel, he was a guest in this strangers new observatory after all.

"I'm.. Sorry I guess, It's hard being a dragon and all.... most of us have these impulses..." He said, while walking over to Lumi at the door (carefully this time, attempting not to dent the floor, though that was easier said than done, as even when he tired not to dent the floor, there was still slight evidence that his feet had hit the floor). "I guess we have got off to a wrong start, and I don't have hooves if you didn't notice. My name is......" Huscarl stopped when he got to the door, after noticing another pony outside the front of the observatory. "This a friend of yours or something?" being somewhat bewildered by the Unicorn and her seemingly interesting pets.

  3. Huscarl placed the final book into his sack and released a quaint smile. Traveling was definitely a hassle for the teenage dragon, but a chance to travel to Unyasi? He would be a fool not to take up the opportunity, Just imagining the ancient scrolls that he could recover brought happiness to his heart. More to read, especially Zebra history, was to be a real treat to the inquisitive dragon.

Being somewhat well versed in traveling, he always considered traveling alone, though never had the motivation to make the journey. In a group? maybe things could be different, despite being a horrible conversationalist, especially when it came to ponies. Ponyville was always underneath Huscarl's radar, He knew little about the town itself, other than the fact that it had a direct train line connected with Canterlot. Regardless, He wasn't going to complain about the meeting point, it was the journey, after all, what was his main goal.

Tightening the bow on his sack and flinging it around his shoulder(what was filled with MANY books and spare gems), the large red scaled dragon left his home high up in the mountains to begin his journey to Ponyvile.

The flight was uneventful, Huscarl was more than capable at using his wings, long journeys would prove to be too much for him though, as he looked down below to Ponyvile. The charming town definitely was a nice sight to behold, with beautifully coloured houses being the most prominent as he closed in for a landing in the center of the town.

"Town hall.... Town Hall...." The dragon repeated to himself as he looked around to the stares of many ponies. The dragon was definitely not lacking in intelligence, common sense however, was an entirely different story. Approaching the Town Hall, the dragon repeated "Zecora.... Zecora..." to himself as he saw a large gathering of ponies.... and a DRAGON?!

What on Equestria was a dragon doing here?! Huscarl stopped dead in his tracks, this was the first dragon he had seen in many, many years. Was he part of the group? Was he friendly? What was his business here otherwise? A thousand questions raced through his head, though he quickly composed himself, and approached the group, assuming that they were the group, I mean really, what else could it be? Huscarl thought to himself, A parade?

"Zecora?" he asked curiously, though bluntly to the group, still bewildered by the appearance of another dragon.
