  1. Hey Kitty, welcome to Canterlot! I'd suggest posting in the introductions part of the forum so that we can get to know ya better friend ;)

This is quite an ambitious project friend, one that isn't easy to accomplish. While I would like to help ya out, you haven't provided enough information to help keep this idea afloat. Now if you can give us a better rundown of your game along with some of your previous experience in the ways of stories, then that'll help ya out in the long run. Whatever information you can divulge will further help your cause.

  2. Why hello thar good chums. With the holidays coming to us, so does the wonderful world of sales (especially in the digital region!). Some of you already know of the awesomeness of which is The Humble Indie Bundle. For those of you whom have never heard of them, I'll give ya a quick rundown as for what the Humble Bundle is. Every Month or two, there's an awesome sale for a collection of fantastic indie titles for however much you wish to pay. If you beat their minimum though, you get (a) bonus game(s) added to your purchase! This is an awesome deal for those whom are pinching pennies or want to get their friends a collection of games for the holidays.

    This time though, it's different.

As of right now, The Humble Bundle service is currently offering THQ games for their newest bundle! Something that (from my knowledge) hasn't been done by the Humble Bundle crew, making this a unique thing for them to do. If you also look at their URL, they changed it from "humbleindiebundle" to "humblebundle". What could this mean? Oh how the plot thickens indeed! But enough of that now, onward to business I say. What games are they offering in this bundle? Well, for less than six dollars, you can get awesome titles such as Saints Row the Third, DarkSiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes (Plus the two expansion packs - Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor), and their soundtracks!

Note: If you already have Saints Row the Third, you can pay as low as $1 and still get the other games/Soundtracks. If you already own any of these games, you will not gain any extra keys or gifts for the games you already own.

The only requirements? You need to have Windows and Steam if you wish to play this on your computer. But nothing is stopping you from holding onto the keys or gifting them to a friend ;)

    (2 minutes, 28 seconds)

The sale will be going on for the next two weeks, so get it while ya can! Also, because of this sale, I now have an extra key to Saints Row the Third and Metro 2033. To those of you whom are interested, whisper me your steam name and I'll send it your way.

  3. You can count me in as an oldschool gamer. My very first 'console' was my good 'ol GBA (BRICK edition). I never did own a NES, but I always did play it at my friends house. Fondly remember playing SMB3 and Bubble Bobble. My first true console was the Sega Genisis, came along with TMNT: Hyperstone Heist. I owned few games due to me family being on a strict budget, but I played TMNT like there was no tomorrow. Even when I got Sonic 1-3 + Sonic&Knuckles (THAT CARTRIDGE WAS INSANE!) I always went back to TMNT.

My favorite song when playing TMNT:

Edit: I forgot what the level was, but it was when I was out to sea on a hover board this song always played. BEST SONG in the game EVER!

  4. I guess you can put me down. :/ I'm going to do it using pencil and paper though, since I lack a tablet. So it will look slightly better than that *thing* above I whipped up on my computer. Just slightly.

You'll do just fine Tales, just relax & let it flow. Besides, not only do you have time to practice, but it's the thought that counts after all. applejackplz.png?1

P.S. I'm willing to bet we have '5th freedom' as to what we draw for whoever you're paired with. I'm sure that whomever you're paired with will be thankful for the work you'll put in for their gift, no matter what it may be. Heck, I'd be as happy as a Wallaby if someone took the time to draw me something! So long as ya have fun, what can go wrong? :)
