I love the pony tumblr blogs. ^^ I run and draw for Ask Princess Luna! It's quite fun. I've been slacking a bit with the art but I try to answer a few questions daily.

I live on Long Island and we're expecting some pretty bad flooding. We've got some stuff ready (candles, water, canned food and a few flash lights...) but I feel like we're ill-prepared for this kind of thing.

D'aw...well, Cake Wrecks look like he'll be cute with Derpy. He can be an exception. The only reason I really don't like doing OCxCanon characters is because of the flack artists receive. Dx

And yep, these are still open. So whenever you wanna post the link, that's fine.

Eeyup! Male, female...anything inbetween. Even canon ponies doing something you've always wanted them to!

Basically what I need is either a visual or written reference, a vague idea of what you want your character to be doing (standing, running, baking cookies...) and a short description of their personalities. For the cannon characters, all I need is what you want them to be doing. (I love doing shipping pictures btw~ as long as they're not with OC/Canon Character.)

Anyhoo, post away and if I find your character appealing, I'll draw him or her.

Well, howdy. :] My name is Lulubell but I also go by and prefer either Luna or Lulu. (I suppose Lulu works better considering there is a prominent pony with the name Luna in the show and all!) You might (but probably don't!) know me from either Deviantart or from my Ask Princess Luna blog that I run on tumblr.

I've been a brony (pegasis?) for a few months now! My obsession started in April and my life has been pretty much consumed with the making of MLP art. I think between these four months I've drawn around 60 MLP images in all...I think I've forgotten how to draw anything else!

I was never a fan of the old show but there's something about these ponies that are just hard to resist. My favorites are Applejack and Princess Luna but I love really do love all ponies. I'm also a biggg fan of shipping. ;P Twiluna is my favorite of them all but Appledash and Rarishy are quite adorable too.

Some of my other interests: reading and writing fanfiction (Spark, Past Sins and Fallout:Equestria are all great!), vidya games and cooking.

UM...I suppose I should wrap this up, huh? I didn't mean for it to get this long kdasdj I tend to get ramble-y. I hope to get to know you guys well. Sorry for taking up so much time.

Name: Moonlight Eve

Sex: Filly

Age: Young Filly (About 6 in human years)

Species: Unicorn

Pelt Color: Light Blue Violet

Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Light navy blue with streaks of royal blue and deep purple. Her mane is very much like her mother, Twilight Sparkle, especially in the tail and bangs area. Luna's genes lend her mane a more flowing, regal look.

Eye Color: Purple

Cutie Mark: A crescent moon over a cloud of dark blue and a few stars. Her talent is Astrology. She takes a deep interest in learning the constellations and stories behind them. She has a passion for Equestria History.

Motivation: Eve loves learning. Not quite as much as her mothers, Luna and Twilight Sparkle, but the interest is still there for things she has a liking for, such as history and mythology. Stories of Nightmare Moon in particular interest her, much to Luna's dismay. When Eve grows older, she becomes slightly obsessed with finding out the origins of Nightmare Moon.

Character Summary: Moonlight Eve was born as a result of a spell cast by Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna. Using archaic zebra magic, Luna managed to combine the essence of both herself and Twilight to form the new being. Twilight then gave birth months later.

Eve is very much like her mothers: bookwormish, quiet, with a tendency to shut herself away from the rest of the world. She attends Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns as both of her mother's fear that putting her in a public school would be too much stimulation for the filly.

She does, however, have another side. As a younger foal, Eve could be considered very bratty. She's very easy to set off and she often throws tantrums to manipulate her parents. Thankfully, Twilight manages to reign in her daughter's impulsive nature before it becomes a problem.

She turned her nose up at many ponies who sought her friendship, thinking herself smarter and more important. The only friend she has is Applejack and Rainbow Dash's daughter, Spectrum, but she soon becomes very involved with Junior Speedster Flight Camp. It isn't until she grows a little older that she realizes that her attitude will eventually drive away every pony and seeks to make amends with those she had snubbed. Unfortunately, despite apologizing, she still carries the stigma of being snobbish and many ponies still refuse to speak with her. This drives her further away from anypony and she buries herself in her studies and begins to resent those who refused her apologizes.

Eve dreams of one day opening her own observatory. She spends most of her nights studying the constellations and reading up on their origins. Eventually, her interests turn towards Nightmare Moon. She becomes obsessed with the notion that somehow Nightmare Moon was a dark entity created by the stars themselves. Her obsession reaches a dangerous level when she makes the trek to the castle where Twilight Sparkle had defeated the Alicorn years ago to see if there is anything in the ruins that would revel the origins of NM. Unbeknown to the ponyfolk, the essence of Nightmare Moon still resides in the old castle.

Nightmare Moon is unable to have a corporeal form but still manages to speak to Eve. She tells her if she allows their minds to meld, Eve will know all the secrets of the night sky. Eve is tempted but knows the dangerous nature of Nightmare Moon. She begins to refuse but relents when Nightmare Moon taps into her emotions and begins to manipulate the filly. She tells her that she'd never be alone if she allowed Nightmare Moon to inhabit her body, together they'd make the other ponies see how special she truly was.

Twilight and Luna both come to their daughter's rescue just as Eve submits to Nightmare Moon's will. Twilight casts a shield spell and Luna rushes Eve from the palace. After her experience in the ruins of Nightmare Moon's palace, Eve turns over a new leaf and begins to understand the magic of friendship. She is no longer as abrasive as she was and shortly gains her cutie mark. Later in her life, her dreams are realized and she builds her very own observatory in Ponyville and later becomes a Equestrian Historian, teaching classes at one of Fillydelphia's colleges.

"Are ya sure we should be doing this, Eve?"

The dark purple filly who had just been regarded trotted onward though her gaze flickered to over her shoulder where a pale brown pegasus filly with a shock of multi-hued hair was hovering. She rolled her eyes at her companion and mumbled around the telescope in her mouth, "Well, why not? Mama Twilight promised to take me star-gazing but she was too busy...again. Might as well go ourselves."

"It's just...if my ma caught me out after bed-time she'd have me working double-shifts over at the farm. An' I don't wanna have to bushel any more apples then I gotta." Came the pegasus's reply as she hurried to match her pace with Eve.

Eve sighed as she spat out the telescope. With a bit of concentration, she was able to hold the item afloat beside her with her magic. She shrugged her shoulders as she remarked, "If I knew you were going to be such a fraidy-foal, I would've left you home, Spectrum."

With that, Spectrum's chest puffed with indignation, "I ain't a fraidy-foal!"

Eve grinned. She had touched a sore spot, "Then stop complaning and hurry up! We're almost to the hill anyway..."
