Well, I first heard about it on Toonzone, when I was bored and wandered into The Hub section of the forum. I didn't really think much of it. A few months later, a pony thread popped up on another forum I frequent and it made me curious enough to check the show out, being the animation geek that I am. I watched Winter Wrap Up, and somehow ended up addicted to show.

Twilight is my favorite pony, just because I can totally relate to her social awkwardness. Not to mention having an obsession with books. =P She's a fairly well rounded character and I appreciate that she isn't a stereotypical nerd.

Fluttershy comes in second. She's so adorable, and I can also relate to being extremely shy like her. Plus, she was hilarious in Best Night Ever.

Winter Wrap Up was my favorite of these. I think the song pretty much made the episode. The actual plot was pretty good too.

Best Night Ever was my second favorite. It was a solid season finale, with some of the funniest moments in the series.

I loved Dragonshy, just because Fluttershy was absolutely epic in it.

When I saw your username, I WAS wondering if that was a Soul Eater reference...

I recently finished watching the series. There are also a lot of other Anime Bronies around here. What other Anime do you like? Do you read any Manga?

I'm a pretty big One Piece fan, but I like the manga better than the anime... I'm also watching Princess Tutu at the moment, and I absolutely adore it. I read One Piece (obviously) and Swan, plus a bunch of misc. volume 1s for manga I've purchased but never followed up on. xD

My partner is very into animation, she just met the author of Billy the unicorn, and got to hang out with her and some of their close friend ( all animators ) for a day. Apparently they all knew Faust as well, so I was super envious I didn't get to join them!

But it sounds like a very exciting field to be in is that what you think you will pursue in the future?

As much as I love it, it's more of a hobby. I don't think I could handle a career in it. XP

Hello fellow bronies! I'm themeisterpony. (Weird name, I know. I have a tendency to make my usernames mash-ups of whatever two things I happen to be into at the moment. In this case, MLP:FiM and Soul Eater. ^^') You can call me tmp, if you want. I hope I can make some friends here and have a good time discussing and possibly roleplaying MLP:FiM.

Anyway, I think MLP:FiM is really well done show, with excellent writing and good characters. Not to mention stellar animation and art work. My favorite pony is Twilight Sparkle, but I love all of the mane six. It's really hard to pick a favorite episode, but I'll give an edge to Winter Wrap Up or The Cutie Mark Chronicles.

As far as what kind of person I am, I'm a soon-to-be high school junior of the female variety. I really like animation, which probably explains my MLP addiction. As far as other hobbies go, I enjoy drawing, so I'll probably put up some pony art later. I also like to read. Any genre from fantasy to realistic fiction is cool with me. My musical tastes lean orchestral music and show tunes. I'm also a band geek, who loves percussion instruments of every variety (marimba has to be my absolute favorite to play). Writing is something I love to do as well, when I'm not suffering from writer's block. So, as you've probably figured out, I'm a geek in just about every way. xD
