    Actually, I have no problems with Twilicorn, or with alicorns in general. I'll agree that alicorns are often used as a poor excuse to make the most broken and mary sue of OCs, but I think the right hands could make a good alicorn character. I think that from what we've seen of Twilight, and of the writing in FiM as a whole, that her lovable character isn't going anywhere just because she got a set of wings and a title.

    • I like what season three did with Trixie and especially Discord.
    • Spike at Your Service is a good episode and I think Spike is well within character in it.
    • Gilda is a genuinely interesting and relatable character; her reactions were understandable given the situation and her final fate, though indeed largely brought on by the glaring but real faults to her character, is somewhat tragic.

    Almost over, the musician thought to herself through the final notes, trying desperately to soothe her overactive nerves before the final song. Getting through that monster of a piece before it had helped bring her confidence back up, but she still felt like she was on thin ice in the middle of this storm. Moving gingerly, Stormsong set her flute on the ground, and at the same time, picked up her ocarina with a levitation spell. After taking a deep breath, she began playing yet another slow tune, a simple melody written only to compliment the emotion of the lyrics.

    That off my hooooooooves, I would be swept,

    Yet here I aaaaaaaam, starting to fret,

    All these nights Iiiiii've just barely slept,

    Can it be thaaaaat this is the one,

    Toward which my liiiiife's been leading me?

    Can I stay strooooong, or will i run?

    How can I eeeeeeever make him see?"[/colour]

    After the first verse, she altered the melody, slightly picking up the tempo.

    My nature tells me to run away.

    Under this pressure, I might cave,

    Without him my life may feel astray!

    Clarity of thought might betray,

    These feelings, oh how can I express?

    A song, my art, here now I pray

    After finishing the last notes, Stormsong dropped the ocarina and flopped down on the grass, completely exhausted from such a long performance, and with several tears rolling steadily from her eyes and into the dirt below. She had put everything into that song this last week, trying to make it perfect. And now... everything was up to fate, she felt.

    As Pizza said, you can jump right into Roleplay with our Free-for-all section, no application required! We also have a World of Equestria roleplay section, which requires an application to be reviewed and approved by our RP Helper team. I highly recommend getting a feel for how applications and RP threads are done first by reading a few, and of course by reading both the RP rules and the character application thread throughly, before you submit your application. :)
