    Let's see here...

    Chrono Trigger was my first game, and I still play it on my DS copy.

    Some of my other favorite RPGs are Final Fantasy Tactics, VII, and XIII, Legend of Dragoon, Secret of Mana, Lufia 1 and 2, and Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale.

    And right now, I'm working on playing through... Disgaea DS, Cthulhu Saves the World, and Record of Agarest War.

    Yeah, I'm getting tired of the way the fandom has been represented by the media, but really, this kind of reporting should be expected. News programs have to bring in ratings just like any other program, and the best way to do that is to focus on the pieces of stories that the reporters think the most people would be interested in. As Skye put so well, the media loves to sensationalize any kind of breaking of stereotypes, and that's because it draws in more attention than they would get if they reported the whole truth.

    And dear god, that video... makes me even more "My parents must never know".

    I knew a couple people who were into FiM a few months before I got into it myself. One night in April when I was really bored, I decided to go watch an episode on youtube to see if it was any good. About eight or nine hours of "one more episode before bed" later, I had stayed up all night and watched all 23 of the episodes that had aired at the time.
