Nexar surely will question Grims behaviour, only most likely not to Grim himself (to prevent getting hurt). On the other hand Midnight doesn't seem to be one of the most active players, teleporting around and ignoring that someone asked him something. Because of that, there is no superior Nexar could really ask.

So... Grim is killing Templars ever since he could hold a sword? Then either there are only a few Templars left, or Grim is one of the most wanted criminals in whole Equestria.

Well... the only reason not to kill Shadow would be (for Nexar for example) that he doesn't want to kill someone who isn't evil. (as well as he doesn't have to carry out the orders of a Grey Warden...)

In fact, I don't know why Midnight gave out a killorder. I mean... Shadow is a pegasus. He can fly. Why shouldn't he go on ahead and do something else? I haven't read anywhere, that he is some kind of slave to the Wardens, not allowed to do something by his own.

Final thing I could try... Shapechanging into someone with a high rank of the Templars, but for that Nexar would need to know what he looks like.

These Templars are elite mooks they don't even have names. Add to the fact that the only one disadvantaged in this fight is Hoax twelve templars vs 2 wardens and both Shadows characters plus Hoax is definitely beyond winnable. It's actually trivial. That's like saying the ninja turtles wouldn't have won most of the fights they did against the foot.

Now you're sounding too overconfident to look like anything else than a Powergamer. I'm sorry, it's true that these Templars don't have a name written in golden letters above their head, but still they can easily be treated as capable fighters, trained by the best, serving a long tradition and most likely used to fight mages, demons and therelike. So I doubt that a single stallion would take on 5 of them at the same time. But if you feel like charging them, go ahead. I just can say, that this could be a welcome distraction for some to flee, and that you afterwards might just be alone vs the 13 Templars in total. Have a nice day. (And I really hope, that there wont be more powergaming than what already has been...)

Not really, no one like's Templars and if the Chantry came after the Warden's they'd essentially consign the world to oblivion. Thus no one in their right mind would support the Chantry in hunting Wardens.

I've started playing Dragon Age Origins today again, and all I can say is: it pretty much looks like if the whole world was afraid of magic and the Templars were the shield of Farelden to protect them from Mages and Demons. Oh yes, that definitly turns them into the good ones here.

So, short summary:

Killing Shadow and Hoax (either because of the order, or because of beeing an apostate and enemy to the Chantry) is no option, PVP is not allowed and I also wouldn't like to be in a RP where player characters get killed by other player characters only because they didn't want to start with the group or wanted to post with someone else to make a really nice story together.

Leaving them to the Templars isn't an option either. It would result in two player characters getting killed, same as above.

Charging and killing the Templars? Just another option that totally isn't going to be the one we are using. It would result in 12 Templars and a Commander vs one Warden Apostate (didn't the Templars have heavy armor as well as abilities to counter magic?), one Warden Rogue, another Rogue, a Mage and the Crossbow Rogue. Of course we wouldn't be in a tactical good position either, we just aren't the spartans or anything like them (or anything better than them), and victory would be fairly unlikely. Without losses on our side probably even impossible. And no matter the outcome of this battle, either the Grey Wardens would throw every warden of us out of their ranks and hunt us toghether with the Chantry, or the Chantry and all of Equestria would turn against the Grey Wardens which are protecting criminals who attacked Templars and protected an apostate.

Oh yes, the final and probably only working option would be to try on diplomatic, and by that I mean real diplomatic, not that kind of diplomatic where you bring your weapon to the negation of a Peace treaty.

That's exactly why it would be unlogical for a Warden to charge a Templar. I can say, that I really think, that if Grim was to charge the Templars (because of him hating them) and even kill one of them, probably the whole Grey Wardens would say, that he has to be punished. Else all the Templars would turn against the Wardens, as well as probably most of the citizens. And something like that would probably not be done with a week in the dungeon... That's why I really hope (for the whole group as well as Grim in particular and the rp), that Eclipse is not going to show us more of his bloodlust.

Here and now it doesn't matter much, if video game violence isn't as bad as real violence. The site rules clearly say, that those things have no place here, and as long as any of us wants to be on this site, the rules have to be followed.

I have to agree with IceCold because I found what happened to be far too close to the border of beeing bloodthirsty to be Family Friendly in any possible way.

I hereby suggest, that we move this thread to the 18+ area immediatly... or some of us get it done and decide to keep it Family Friendly from now on.

As every year, the traditional Nightmare Night festival was held in Ponyville. Everypony weared costumes and the younger ones collected candys. But in addition to the usual, two special places were set up just outside of Ponyville.

On the one hand was the Dragons Lair. The reason for it's name is pretty clear, as the entrance was the wide opened mouth of a red scaled dragon with small flames coming out of its nostrils, enlightening the place like two torches. Inside of the dragons head a bar has been built up. The floor was plated with stones, between them a fiery red glowing was visible, illuminating the entire place. From time to time a fireburst errupted from the ground, magically controlled to never errupt somewhere, where someone already stood. Naturally, on the bar everypony could get drinks. For the younger guests there was even a scale to weigh the collected candys.

The second location, beeing set close to the Everfree Forest, has been named "100 haunted mirrors". Beeing set up in a big tent, inside roughly 100 Mirrors have been set up to create a house of mirrors. But something additional has been added to make it scarier. Ghost ponies are floating around inside the tent and tend to play tricks on those inside, moving the mirrors around and creating dead-ends, new pathways and such.

Even thought Nexar kept his daily rythm, sleeping till midday and working till after midnight, even he noticed the upcoming Nightmare Night. In fact, when he woke up that day, he felt kinda nervous about it, since it would be his very first Nightmare Night. But before he was allowed to enjoy this festival, the disguised Changeling had to fulfil his chores. It was night already when he finished them all and walked back to his house, but as the festival was already fully going, pretty much everyone except for him was dressed up in a disguise. Nexar didn't even knew, that all the ponies would be in disguise, and so he hadn't think of anything he might somehow dress up as.

Lucky for him was, that on his way back to his house, he ran into Asteria, one of the very few he knew. Interestingly she was also the only pony in Equestria to know that he was a changeling. And after he had told her, that he didn't knew something about dressing up and that he had no idea what to dress up as, she walked with him to his house. Inside Nexar quickly got the idea, that he could simply Shapechange into something scary and make it all look, like if it was a normal disguise. So he changed into a black alicorn with bat-like wings and a fiery mane and tail, as well as big, red eyes without a pupil, filling out his entire eye. Afterwards Asteria and he painted over his coat in black again, so that it really looked like if the coat was painted on, as well as they glued dark paper to his leather wings to make it look handmade. As they finished with the preperations for Nexar, both walked outside again, standing in Ponyville. [colour=#008080]"So... what do you want to do, Asteria?"[/colour] Nexar asked the mare, as she was basically the only one around that he knew.

I honestly don't think darkspawn blood should do anything special to him other than kill him or let him complete the joining.

So you basically agree with me, either dead or no special effect for him.

I'll leave that decision up to Midnight, as I don't want Nexar to be overpowered.

Further you'd have to convince him to drink Darkspawn blood, currently he's not very happy with that idea...

I'd like to say, that if Nexar is immune to blood magic because of his changeling nature, that he is also either unaffected by Darkspawn blood (resulting him in not gaining and advantage like greater strength etc) or to be even more affected by it (resulting in a 100% death chance when drinking it).

I still didn't saw something official if Nexar is immune to Bloodmagic or not...

And when considering it to be a duel, what would be with Nexar according to Spaced?

Well... Spaced came up with that idea. I usually say, that the body he shapechanges into is real, but he said, that evenif Nexar was to have blood when shapechanged, it would be fake blood and therefore not manipulateable for the bloodmagic.

What do you guys think about it?

Well... I wanted to ask, if someone feeled like picking up on the idea I had. At least, there is a pegasus checking out what happened to his bandit friends and Nexar is tied up in their camp. If none of the Grey Wardens want to notice the scouting pegasus and furthermore help Nexar escape, he would have to try escaping on his own.
