Great list! I'm actually surprised Bonbon beat your signature pony! :3

You and me both! I guess Bonbon being with Lyra all the time put her higher in my considerations on a subconscious level. I really do adore Pinkie though. And speaking of signatures, I think I need to make a Lyra signature for myself to go with the pink party pony. Again, this was a very cool find Kodokuna! It got me on a wonderful start to my morning.

55 King Sombra Man, you have no idea how difficult that was to format being unable to use my enter key! I will say that I'm surprised at how high up Roseluck ended up. I must be more fond of her than I thought! Same with Bonbon. Most of the others are right about where I expected though, with Lyra right at the very top. Very cool find by the way. Still, Roseluck at number six? Just wow. I can't really call it WRONG, just surprising. :)

  3. Hiya Wolfy! (Wow, we have spellcheck on here now?) Nice to meet you and welcome to Canterlot! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying yourself! Hey, if you ever feel like chatting up others in realtime, feel free to check out the local chatroom. You can usually find me there in the evenings as well as a bunch of other cool dudes and ladies, like Rosewind and DreamySunday. You'll certainly be warmly received if you decide to pop in for a visit. I hope to see you there sometime! :) ... I almost forgot! :-o Here's your welcome video! :D

  4. ~Equestria Games!

I really, strongly feel like this is going to be a reality in the season 4 premier. It only makes sense that an even this big will be made as the 2 part opener for the season. I also wouldn't be too surprised to find Twilight assigned to preside over the games as her first official task. I'm even going to go out on a limb and say the episode is going to focus on Twilight learning to be fair, and showing equality to all her subjects, not playing favorites. My prediction is made. Let it be archived! Lol.

Unless Discord decides to show up and do something chaotic. In which case, all bets are off. :P

I also want to see another time-traveling episode. That was really cool. Only this time, I want to see The Doctor. It probably won't happen, but hey, I can dream, can't I?

  5. I was just digging around the archives and found this neat little doo-dad, thingamajig, whatchamacallit, whosamajaggit. I like it, so I'm gonna go ahead and post on it, maybe breathe a little life into an old topic.

For starters, they have self-propelled vehicles now. We saw them in One Bad Apple. You know, all those parade floats. They've also got turntables and stereo systems. We saw those in the season 2 finale. There were arcade games in the hearts and hooves episode of season 2 as well. Not to mention Flim and Flam's Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 and the dam from the Mare-Do-Well episode.

There's a bit of a complication, though. We have to consider whether or not the MLP comic series is canon. I don't know for certain, myself. If so, then they most certainly have television. If not, then that idea is out. Lol.

Perhaps Equestria is advancing in tech as the show advances over time. That's what I'm going with here. Anyone else have any input on this?

With that little example shown, I like to think that everything we can possibly imagine exists at some time, at some place. I feel like there's a close relationship to the existance of parallel universes and our own thought processes. It's very difficult for me to explain, since I'm not very good at explaining stuff. It's like if we think of something, even on a subconscious level, we've unknowingly created a new universe, just by thinking about it. It makes no sense, and yet makes perfect sense at the same time. I wish I could articulate my thoughts better than this ridiculous mish-mash of junk.

  7. I had this conundrum on the mind for a while, myself. What Rose said is true. Just treat it like any other show that you like, and don't make it out as something to be embarassed about. I showed this to my little sister (she's 5) and watched the first 4 episodes with her when I got home last week. I also showed some fan content to my little brother (he's 14) and he really enjoyed it as well. When I was talking to my parents about it, I simply told them that I thought it was a good show and it had a huge fanbase around the world. They didn't really have anything to say about me enjoying MLP because I didn't make a big deal about it or try to hide it.

It can be pretty scary telling people about this, but in the end they perceive it as what you portray. You don't need to have a super in-depth talk with them or anything like that. In your situation, you might just want to bring it up like something you came across and you were curious about. For example, you could go to your mother and say something like, "Hey mum, do you know that old show called My Little Pony? Well I learned that a remake of the show was done and that it's actually really good." Then you just go from there. If asked where you learned about it, just tell the truth and tell her it was on the internet. Too easy. Of course, it's easier said than done, I suppose. Anyway, I hope that helped somewhat, even if I just rambled a bit. Best of luck to you!

  8. Lol. Anniversery for Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Huzzah! But seriously, that's pretty cool. But you know what this means? I became a brony just two weeks after season 2 finished. I now have a time frame for certain on that. Also, I would like to see more of these two in season 4. I'd like their characters to become more profound and meaningful.

  9. *sigh* My final post for a little while. I'll be heading out in a few minutes for the east coast, so here goes nothing. Please note, this is my FIRST app of any kind. Please go easy on me.

    Name: BonBon

    Age: Adult

    Gender: Mare

    Race: Earth Pony

    Faction: The Royal Liberation Front

    Sub-Faction: RLF recruit

Place of Birth/Starting Location: BonBon was born in Ponyville, and will start in the surrounding Everfree Forest.

Physical Appearance: Beige coat with a long cobalt blue mane, with a light fuchsia streak, curling tightly at the ends. Her eyes are cerulean blue.

Cutie Mark: Three candies in blue and yellow wrapping.

    History:

BonBon, born and raised in Ponyville, lived a simple life. Her father was in the apple farming business, and her mother was in the candy business. As a little filly, she loved helping her mother in the kitchen making all manner of sweets. It was especially wonderful when her father was able to join in and they made delicious candied apples together. One day, she and her mother were experimenting with new types of hard candies with soft centers. BonBon concocted a candy of her very own that day, and they turned out spectacular! Her cutie mark appeared soon after, when she saw how happy her candies made others feel. From then on, her and her mother made them constantly.

A few years down the road, she was working full time with her mother in their candy shop. One week, she was left in charge of the shop while her parents went on a business trip with the Apple family. They would never return, however. BonBon was distraught, and closed down the shop indefinately. She was never the same after that, and became withdrawn, cold, and distant from her best friends. She turned into a shut-in, wallowing in her depression. After quite some time surviving on hand-outs, odd jobs, and the occasional assisting at Sugarcube Corner, her friends finally managed to convince her to come out with them to see a new musician in town. Begrudgingly, and very skeptically, she agreed to see this new pony from hailing from Canterlot. She was smitten by the lyrist and her work. It struck a chord with her inner self, the old BonBon that her friends had known and loved, but thought they would never see again. After that show, she began talking with the mint coloured unicorn, and they became fast friends. BonBon caught every show the unicorn played, and at her urging, reopened her family's old candy shop, creating the incredible sweets she once made, and inventing new ones as well. Back to her old self again, she was entering a new life with Lyra, and happiness began to fill her once more.

Then the revolution began. At first, it seemed like it would scarcely affect her new life with Lyra, but that quickly changed. When the opposing forces reached Ponyville, destruction, mayhem, and chaos took hold of the town, and quickly put an end to her time with Lyra. When the first projectiles struck Town Hall, she and Lyra ran for it. One blast managed to separate BonBon from Lyra. In the confusion, she was unable to search for her friend and could only flee into the Everfree Forest with the rest of the earth ponies, as most pegasi and unicorns simply flew or teleported away. She managed to meet up with the Apple family, and her old friends, and together they watched in fearful silence as their home was leveled before their eyes. They ran deep into the forest. Days after the attack, it was evident that there would be no returning to Ponyville to rebuild. With things turned upside down on her once again, and the love of her life nowhere to be found, she returned to her cold, and reclusive self. The survivors of Ponyville moved deep into the Everfree, and BonBon with them, until they eventually took up residence in an old castle, hidden away.

Over time, the Apples organized a group to fight the fiends that had taken their home. BonBon supported her old friend, Applejack, but refused to join, as she mourned everything she had lost. Over the course of the war, she would become a husk of her former self, acting as if she was already dead, only doing what she needed to sustain herself. Her friends never gave up hope on her, and she was finally pursuaded to join what was being called the Royal Liberation Front. Now she fights alongside her friends, in hopes to avenge the loved one she lost, learning to help in everything from cooking to combat, intel, and logistics.

  10. To all those chatroom users who know me, and anyone else, I'll be gone for a few days. Starting late on the 17th and lasting until the 21st or even until May 8th, I will be on at extremely unpredictable times, if at all. Just letting you all know, so don't be surprised when you don't see me, okay? :)
