The lightbulb lighting a sign stating that the Itailian restaurant is open flickers through the polished window. Ponies sit at tables, laughing and talking as they eat breads, pastas, and soups. Even while standing outside, the very dim sound of chatter can be heard. Beyond the oak doors, the walls have a wallpaper with a leafy pattern on them-- a light green against an even lighter one. The floor is boarded with a dark wood that squeaks in a few places. Lamps hang from the ceiling, adding a cheery glow to the room, but candles are available for those who are feeling like romance. Jars of herbs recognizable as oregano, rosemary, and line the counter, behind which a few pots can be seen bubbling and steaming as chefs tend to them. A green unicorn who appears to be between the ages of filly and mare pulls a golden-brown foccacia out of an oven. She glances towards the door to see if any ponies are entering, but they aren't. There are many empty tables, and the scents of basil and tomato emanating from the restaurant smells enticing. Maybe it would be a good idea to go there sometime...

Hey there, before you continue, you've done something that many have done. You've C/Ped the code from the app guidelines post, which results in non-black app, which is not preferable. This is easily remedied though! Just click edit, select all text, and then click the eraser looking button next to the switch looking button. After you do that, feel free to click the switch looking button and then save it! That should fix your formatting right up!

That said, you look like you are off to a great start! Personally I'd take out that bit about the hooves, unless you think Shining Armor is an Earth Pony . I think that is just aesthetic, and is not odd for any other ponies to have it

Roleplay Type: World of Equestria

Name: Chives Fettucine

Sex: Female

Age: Older filly

Species: Unicorn

Eye colour: Grass green

Coat: Dusty green, the colour of dried grass that hasn't lost it's colour.

Mane/Tail: Her mane is floppy and clumps together easily, probably a product of steam and oil getting into it. Part of it is a bright green. The other section is the colour of a pale fern. She keeps her tail short, and it curls up at the tip.

Physique: Her hooves are bare instead of covered in fur, a slightly unusual trait, but nonetheless normal. As a product of taking part in a lot of sports as a younger filly, she is slightly stronger than most, and is determined not to let that go.

Residence: Canterlot, in a flat above an Itailian pasta restaurant run by her parents with the rest of her family.

Cutie Mark: A chef's hat. When she was a foal, she always loved cooking, but never guessed it would become her cutie mark. On one of her birthdays, her parents had hit a rough spot and could not afford to buy a big gift for her as they had in previous years. So, instead of buying her something, they decided to show her how to cook an Itailian dish. Unexpectedly to them, she was a natural. After completing the recipe, she beamed as her parents and brother tucked into the meal she had prepared for them. And with that, she received her cutie mark, her best birthday present yet.

History: Chives' parents are immigrants from the land of Itaily. Before giving birth to their first foal, a colt named Parmesan, they lived for five years in their new home, learning the language and building a business, an Itailian restaurant named "Bellisimo Pasta". A few years later, they had Chives. As a foal, Chives always showed a talent and interest for cooking. While other foals were banging on the pots and pans in the kitchen, Chives was doing almost the entire recipe by herself. Unfortunately, later in foalhood, she did not do so well in school. Once, much to her mortification, she blew up the entire science lab whilst doing a test. Usually, the score on her report cards were abysmal, save Home Economics and P.E. She dropped out of the final year of school to learn more cooking, and is interested in going to cooking school. In the meantime, she helps her parents in the kitchens of Bellisimo Pasta from time to time. The year before she dropped out, her parents had another foal, whom they named Parsley.

Character Summary: Chives is an Itailian-Equestrian filly who excels at cooking. Her dream is to be a well-known, famous chef with her own, popular restaurant. She's nice to be around, but has the bad habit of often turning small talk into a long, drawn-out conversation. She adores all kinds of foods, but is determined to keep the physique she has gained from years of sports at school. It remains to be seen whether she will accomplish that feat. She dislikes arithmetic, science, and anything that involves reading a book that is not a cookbook, which she will pore over endlessly. Her only fear is that she will fail in her dream, as she has no plan B.
