  1. Please read the IC, http://www.canterlot...e-legend-ic-18/ , to know what this Rp will be like and to give you a back story of Equestria at this time. Due to the nature of having the slay mythical and fictional creatures..this RP will take place in the 18+ section. Basically if you can handle killing a goblin in LoZ then you can handle the amount of violence in this RP.

    Accepted Characters: Grouse - Brony55

    Xan - Pyro Blaze

    Spirit - Sleeps

Quick summary. This is a crossover based off of Legend of Zelda. With a combination of Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time. Wind waker for the use of instruments and the prophecy parts. And Ocarina of Time for the terrain and way Equestria will look.

It is a time set WAY back.

    Quick places to remember:

Canterlot - Home of the Royal Family and an iconic city. The King of Equestria resides here. City is a major trade center.

Everfree Forest Village - This is where our heroes will be in the beginning. No exceptions. A very heavily secluded forest village that is inhabited by only foals. It is said the village is only visible to other foals as well. It is protected by a ruler who resides in the Temple connected to the village.

Canterlot Lake - This lake is home to one of the Royal Family's closest allies. The Hippocampi. Sea like ponies that have built their villages under the deep lake waters. They are in charge of fresh water to all of Equestria.

Gudara Desert - This is the home of all those that are banished from Canterlot and its surrounding areas. This is also where our "Ganondorf" Or Sombra in this case will arrive from. The desert is an extremely harsh place and often the ones banished..find a tough fate. But not Sombra. He has a special power none of the other banished creatures have. His prophecy is set in stone and he is proud to say that he will seek that prophecy out.

Griffon Kingdom - The griffons have a new budding relationship with the Royals. They usually stay high up in the mountains and don't visit much. But they are beginning to open up. They are also governed by a king.

The Sky Temple - This floating fortress is said to be the home of those worthy enough to reach it. Though the place is Pegasus only. It is home to a proud group of Pegasi known as the Valen. They keep to themselves and start no quarrels.

There are a few surrounding towns that I may call on by name if we pass through them .

Okay! Now for the character sheets:

Name: Your name please. What name has been inscribed in the ancient tablets?

Age: Foal. This is locked at Foal. Do not change it.

    Species:

Coat and Mane/Tail colors and styles: What did the ancient tablets show you looking like?

Residence: Again locked at Everfree Forest. Do not change

Cutie Mark: No cutie mark yet. This ties into the prophecy as well.

Musical Instrument you play: What did the ancient tablets show you playing? Be it flute? Or be it six strings?

Fighting style: Just for fun. No big detail here, are you a secluded fighter or do you rush on it?

Occupation: What do you do around the Everfree Village? Your job may depict what items are acquired to you on the journey ;)

Spirit Animal: This will be used for the first temple and many other things to come so pick wisely. Also, only one of each animal please, don't want all of you being the same animal.

And here is the big one: What element are you prophesied to be? Elements are first come first serve! Do not worry! No other Hero will be any amount of overpowered than the other heroes. A Hero can only use his/her elemental powers when all the other elemental Heroes are present. Or with your linking element.

    The tablets show:

    A Hero of Fire

    A Hero of Water

    A Hero of the Sky

A Hero of Time Sorry this one is mine ;)

    A Hero of Light

    ----------------------------

Here is my Application that I will be using in the RP:

    Name: Aquilan

    Age: Foal

    Species: Earth Pony

Coat andMane/Tail colors and Styles: His coat is a light blue color. His mane and tail are a light blonde and both are short. His mane falls just above his eyes and is swept to the side as well.

    Residence: Everfree Village

    Cutie Mark: No cutie mark

Musical Instrument: Aquilan has grown fond of the lyre he made for himself. He likes to think of himself as the best around but he is alright at it.

Fighting Style: Though the only fighting he has ever done was fighting back giant spiders or timberwolves he doesn't fight that much. But Aquilan is fond of using a sword and shield like most ponies. The shield he uses has a strap that he wraps around his left front hoof and when he fights he can hold it up to block and still have three hooves to move. He usually keeps his sword in his mouth when it is necessary to use it.

Occupation: Aquilan worked as one of the scouts in the village. He would keep watch over the small settlement and guard the only entrance to the location of their village. Though he is sure nothing bad will ever happen he stands ready and guards the village.

Spirit Animal: Only once did had he entered the sacred Everfree Temple that their protector was said to reside in. It was a pretty much one year ago, all the foals of the village had to go inside by themselves at some point. Aquilan entered and did the ceremony and found out it was nothing but a time for the protector to tell you your spirit animal.

Aquilan was told he was a Wolf in the spirit animal world.

Personally he thought the ceremony was dumb. He would never need to remember this stuff.

Hero to be: Though he doesn't know it yet Aquilan is said to be the Hero of Time. Following along the other heroes in the same prophecy as he.

  2. Casanova's face lit up as he nodded happily to Aloe. "Would it?! Madame Aloe, I would love to have you attend one of my gatherings! You are always welcome to any of them! I will just need to be able to mail you the information a few weeks before you know?" He gave a joking wink to her.

Locke was filled with a sense of joy and excitement when Aloe said his profession sounded more dangerous. He felt proud but was not one to boast. Not until he uncovered the ancient secret tombs of the long lost Pony civilizations that were before them! No telling what they left behind!

The grey stallion nodded as Aloe finished her story. "I understand! I remember living semi close to one of the famous lakes in Trottingham. Can't say I remember the name but I remember travelling to it a number of times!" The unicorn finished his talking as another stallion spoke to the group.

Truth be told Casanova was usually the observant one of the duo but he had no idea why this stallion was apologizing. But he must have had a good reason. The stallion didn't seem to be from around Canterlot and..what was this? His tail was burnt and his mane was as well! Was it a new style?

As Aloe finished introducing herself Casanova decided he would speak next. "And I am Casanova. Social Gathering planner and connoisseur of the Fine Arts. A pleasure to meet you." He gave a warm smile to the stallion.

Locke turned to the stallion Casanova and Aloe were facing. He had never seen the pony before so he must be new! He looked like he just got done rolling around in a fireplace or something. Or maybe...a volcano..? No..

Locke made his way closer to the stallion and tipped up his tan hat. His tan pocket jacket matched with the hat and when he wore both he just looked like a regular archaeologist. He gave a friendly wave to the stallion. "Ello there! Nice to meet ya! Guess we are giving names and such again yeah?" He chuckled slightly. "I'm Locke Wind! Archaeologist for the Canterlot Museum of History! Nice to meet you!"

  3. Name: Fio Filigree

    Age: Young Adult

    Sex: Female

    Species: Diamond Dog

Coat and mane/tail color: A chestnut red envelopes Fio's body with a white patch resembling a 'tuxedo' pattern lies from her chest up to her chin.

Coat and Tail style: While her appearance has never been a firsthand concern, Fio always does her best to keep her fur neatly trimmed and combed down. She's accompanied by a short bushy tail which reaches down to her lower thigh.

Accessories: Fio wears an olive green bandana around her neck with an achromatic gem resting just below it.

Job before he/she joined the Guild(if they had one): Blacksmith/Handyman

    Desired field of training: Enchanting

History: Fio was born in the Diamond Dog settlement of the Painted Pinto Desert, between Talonpolis and Beak Break city. She lived a happy life with her parents, her mother was a jeweler while her father was a gem hunter. Initially, Fio was taught not only how to create basic jewelry but also how to find gems within the land. It wasn't until she witnessed blacksmiths hard at work did the Diamond Dog become curious about shaping molten steel. After sneaking out several times, getting caught by the smiths and having the opportunity to forge her own crude armlet, she had found a profession which truly spoke to her.

Many years had passed since that day and Fio lived the grand life of the blacksmith. She had everything a smithy would want: a plentiful selection of resources to choose from, great demand at her shoppe, assistants whom were more than willing to go the extra mile, and a seemingly never ending supply of gems. Even though the Diamond Dog was incredibly successful in her life, Fio was longing for something more. Time after time again she would hear stories outside of the great world outside of the 'little' settlement she lived in. From the grand spectacles of Canterlot to the wondrous lands of Unyasia, Fio found herself being consumed by wanderlust. After some thorough talks and receiving blessings form her parents, Fio departed the home that she had lived in for her whole life to explore the world. Months would pass before the Diamond Dog would ever hear about the organization known as the Hollowfell Guild.

After spending some time within Rockwington the Diamond Dog was told that bandits had been sighted outside of the town and that it was advised to leave with either a group or bodyguard. Fio didn't want to take any chances and decided that it was wise to head the warnings of the local guard. After waiting for some time she found herself invited to a caravan which had hired a group of bodyguards outside the town. As the caravan just fell out of sight of Rockwington, the group was ambushed. Before Fio knew what was going on she found herself knocked to the ground. As the Diamond Dog finally stood up to assess what was going on she found herself being charged at by a bandit. While she was barely able to trip her assailant, she was once more knocked back to the earth. As Fio was about to get up her eyes met with an outlaw armed with a dagger pointed at her. The Diamond Dogs heart stopped, she didn't know what to do nor what was going to happen to her. For the first time in her life, Fio felt incredibly vunlerable.

As the thief was about to take action a flurry of weapons striked the attacker, sending them flying away from Fio. As the scene finally registered with the Diamond Dog she saw a pony wizz past her. Fio quickly erected herself and scanned the chaotic scene for whom saved her. She finally found her savior brawling amongst the many bandits which were attacking them. As she continued to watch she witnessed in disbelief how the warrior was materializing a grand selection of weapons from the air itself. The battle itself, while seeming to go on forever, ended just as swiftly as the ambush had commenced. Fio was mesmerized by what she had witnessed but that feeling quickly dissolved when she came to a very blunt realization. In a situation such as this, she was completely useless and was a liability if she didn't stay out of the way. The possibility of this happening again also became very real to the dog and next time she'd most likely be alone. Fio came to the conclusion that if she were to continue exploring the land that she'll need to learn how to defend herself from the harshness of the world. The warrior whom had saved her exhuberated great skill, Fio had a new found resolution to her situation.

After inquiring with her fellow travelers, Fio was bestowed with much needed knowledge. The group whom had protected them was known as the Hollowfell Guild and the individual whom saved Fio was an Elementalist. Once finding out where the town of Hollowfell was located Fio departed immediately to her new destination. After many days of traversing the land of Equestria, the Diamond Dog finally found herself at Hollowfell. The town was bustling with action, more so than most towns that Fio had visited. It didn't take much for her to learn though that today was "Recruitment Day" for the guild and she made her way to where all the activity was pouring towards.

This, is the story of Fio Fillagree - Elementalist of the Hollowfell Guild.

Accepted! Should be fun with a diamond dog!

Happy a great Recruitment day! :D

  4. About time I got around to this, huh? Here is my student:

    Name: Atlas.

    Age: 19.

    Species: Unicorn.

Coat and mane/tail color: Atlas' mane and tale are a light brown hue with a couple streaks of white. His coat is orange.

Mane and tail style: He wears his mane slightly longer than average, and his tail remains the average length for a stallion of his age.

Job before he/she joined the Guild: Atlas was a fisher before joining the Guild.

    Desired field of training: Enchanting.

History: Atlas grew up in Hollowfell. His father was a fisher by trade, and his mother was a student from Celestia's school. Atlas had been born out on his father's ship, during the vessel's maiden voyage. Throughout life, Atlas had worked for his father as a fisher, and learned the basic fundamentals of magic from his mother

From a young age, it had been Atlas' dream to join the Guild. He pressured his mother to teach him elemental based magic, as she herself was a master in the field. She taught him the basics, and he proved to be rather bad at them, barely able to cast the lowest level spell.

Slightly discouraged, Atlas didn't pester his mother for lessons any longer, and focused instead on helping his father. While out on the water, Atlas decided to try the basic spells his mother had taught him. Still, he failed to cause the wind to blow any stronger, and he couldn't manipulate the earth in the middle of the lake. He did, however, notice a small swirl of water near the edge of the boat that seemed to be working in tandem with his magic. When he cut the feed of his aura, the swirl slowly dissipated.

For the next few years, Atlas would continue to work on his magic. He'd learned that the other elements weren't really meant for him, and water was the only one he had any considerable skill in. By the time he was fifteen, through sheer hard work and determination he had become immensely skilled in the workings of the magical manipulation of water. He ended up being the one to pilot his father's boat, manipulating the flow of water beneath it to control its speed and direction, and he could even use his magic to draw the fish out of the water as well.

He even started to use a few offensive spells, though he had little chance to practice them. When he was nineteen, his mother notified him she had pulled a few strings, using a few of her connections, to bring the Guild's attention to him, and when he applied, demonstrating what he knew of elemental magic, he was accepted.

(His back story feels a little weak, but eh)

    Dang right he was accepted.

Have a happy Recruitment Day! :D

  5. The charcoal colored unicorn took the coupon he was handed by Aloe. "And for that. I thank you! I don't know about any of the other stuff in a spa...but I know I'd actually enjoy taking one of those..bath thingies you said, with the Volcanic Ash!" The stallion bounced happily a few times.

Casanova stopped him and laughed lightly. "Like I said. Etiquette." He looked to Aloe and shook his head. It was in good fun though. Locke pushed his tan hat back up above his face as he thought to answer Aloe's question. "What part? That I actually do not really remember...I remember I lived rather close to the lakes of Trottingham...if that helps ya any. Sorry I can't remember.." He became disapointed with himself. He had never met this mare and he couldn't even remember where he was raised. Good job Locke. "Oh names? Well, I'm Locke! Locke Wind! Gonna be Equestria's most famous archaeologist!"

Casanova could not help but laugh at his friend here. "And I am Casanova. I plan various types of gatherings for ponies. Such as weddings, or drink tastings. Or just gatherings for fun." He smiled.

    Name: Aquila Tacita

    Age: 48

    Species: Thestral.

Coat and mane/tail color: Aquila is a Thestral with a lithe and agile build. His coat is a dark gray, and his eyes are a sharp yellow. His mane and tail are a dark blue.

Being a Thestral, his wings resemble a bat's wings, rather than a normal Pegasi's. Likewise, his pupils are slit, like a cat's, and he possess fanglike canines.

Mane and tail style: He wears his mane in a ragged trim. His tail he keeps trimmed to a managable half length, in the same ragged style of his mane.

Job before he/she joined the Guild: Luna's Guard.

    Desired field of training: Assassination.

History: Aquila was born into Clan Tacita one of the Lunar Guard Clans. He was raised being schooled in multiple different fields until age six, at which point he decided whether he wanted to become a guard, or pursue other professions. Aquila chose to become a guard, and from them on combat, discipline and principals became the crux of his childhood.

He and 74 other colts and fillies from the various Guard Clans were repeatedly thrown into the wilderness with nothing and forced to adapt to survive against the creatures of the wild, or some of the senior Clan members acting as their instructors.

These types of excersises, as well as long days of physical, mental and combat training continued on upward until he was sixteen, and this was allowed to become an apprentice Lunar Guard.

Of the 75 colts and fillies that entered the program, only 30 survived to become guards, or soldiers.

Aquila continued to serve as a Guard and Soldier for most of his life, having never really known much of a life other than this. At age 26, Aquila was out on leave due to an injury he'd suffered during a fight he and some of his Trial Mates had against a hydra, he found his way to Hollowfell. It was here he learned of the Guild. He spent as much time as he could learning about the Guild, and the more he learned, the more he wanted to join.

Upon returning to duty under Luna, he requested her permission to resign from duty and join the Guild. With some hesitation, she eventually agreed, and sent him off with her blessing.

Aquila had achieved the title of Assassin after seven years of service, and by age forty became a mentor in that field.

If anything needs to be changed, let me know and I'll oblige.

I will probably make a student in the Enchantment field tomorrow.

Accepted! And with that we have...three mentors? Well both of them are playing students as well so it should be okay :P haha I would say something about hoping to see your character on Recruitment Day...but he better be there if he is a mentor!

  8. Name: Cold Iron

    Age: Stallion

    Species: Earth Pony

Colors: Cold has a black coat with white over his muzzle and white fringes around his hooves, his mane and tail are also white.

Mane/Tail Style: His tail is cut a bit short, but not completely cropped. His mane is almost always pulled back into a short ponytail.

Job before joining: Cold was the assistant to the town guards quartermaster.

    Desired Field: Paladin Training

History: Cold Iron was born not knowing his parents, as his mother died giving birth to him. His father, a guard, died fighting off a bandit attack. Cold was adopted by a priesthood and raised with a belief that a life of righteousness and good would lead a pony to happiness, however, he didn't agree so much with the peacefulness of the priesthood. As soon as he could he joined the guard, but they decided that because of his past with the priesthood he'd be more suited to aiding the quartermaster. Cold was upset that they didn't have enough faith in him, but decided that he'd just put his all into his work to show his dedication. This continued, Cold helping maintain arms and armor, until the day a Hollowfell paladin came in and requested help in repairing damaged armor, the paladin was apparently an old friend of the quartermaster's, and trusted only him to make such repairs. Cold was fascinated by the paladins stories and made his choice then and there, he would join the Hollowfell guild, with the aspirations of becoming a paladin.

Job before: guard for his town. Pyrotechnics for shows on the side.

    Desired field: arcane magic

History: Pyro always protected the weak. Even when he was a kid he would stand up for those that couldn't stand up for themselves. Because of this, his logical career path, in his mind anyways, was to become a guard. Pyro already knows some fire magic, which he uses in the shows, but he wanted to learn more. When a fight broke out outside his town, he went to see what had happened. On one side of the battle was a group of bandits, the other had a group of ponies slinging fireballs and other elemental spells at the bandits. Pyro watched this group of three or four unicorns beat back the group of bandits, which was about 9 to 10 ponies. Pyro saw that their banner said they were the Hollowfell Guild. Pyro had to mull it over for awhile, but he has now decided to join on their next recruiting day.

(I will post aprentices based on your choice.)

Hmmm since I get to choose the mentor....

No wait I lied. Nexus will be the mentor.

  11. My apologies. I forgot to put that in the application form.

    There we go :) ALSO

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE CLASS VARIETY. Not everyone needs to be an assassin or hunter. I'm actually limiting there to be only one Hunter position since the mentor I will be playing as is trained as a hunter.

    Application for my character:

    Name: Sentinel Charge

    Age: Stallion

    Species: Unicorn

Coat and mane/tail color(s): Sentinel's mane is a light blue. Almost a grey actually but you can tell it is light blue. His coat is a sheer white.

Mane and Tail style: Sentinel's mane is kept slightly above his eyes. It is swept to the side of his face to stay out of his way. His tail is rather long but doesn't touch the ground. Kept short as well to keep from tripping or slowing him down.

Job before: Sentinel used to work with his father on his shop. His father was a blacksmith (Reason will be in his history)

Desired field of Training: When he was first in the Guild he was undecided. Hunter was chosen for him.

History: Sentinel at a young age was always wanting to leave and go do something. He hated working with his father at the smithy because he barely did anything. He didn't know how to do anything. He didn't want to be a blacksmith either. So the young Sentinel would often run off on his own and go play games with the other colts in Hollowfell. The young colt never showed any aspect of wanting to go and fight.

Until the day he and a few other colts and fillies strayed a bit to far from the village. They crossed over one of the valley mountains and witnessed a battle taking place. Two armies were attacking each other and they were fighting over this plot of land. A tribal band of ponies on one side and an army of soldier ponies on one side. The young colt had no idea who the army of ponies were. But he noticed that there was a very small force of ponies that came in from the side. They were helping the army ponies. The ponies were using magic as weapons and they all timed their strikes perfectly. It dazzled the young colt's mind.

He noticed the small group carried a banner title, "Hollowfell Guild". It was that day that Sentinel learned of the Guild.

Sentinel waited and waited for the next day of recruitment so he could join the Guild. Finally the day came and the young Sentinel instantly loved it. He was undecided on what field to enroll in. Back in his day Assassin training was not offered. So he was actually enlisted in Hunter by a Mentor.

He rose in the ranks and aged and actually became a Guild Hunter. Sentinel enrolled to become a Mentor at a young age. Young age for a stallion like Sentinel.

In the end, Sentinel did become a Mentor. It is actually his first year to be a Mentor as well. The stallion awaits to see what kind of recruits he will see on the Day of Recruitment.

  12. The sun shined bright that morning. It casts its rays into buildings and onto tress and every living thing that walked Equestria. There was not a cloud in the sky thanks to the ponies that kept the sky clear.

Times are different now. In the land of Equestria there was a medium sized village sitting proudly in the middle of a great plain. That town was known as the town of Hollowfell. This town was quite famous actually, which was strange since it was not a large city. No it was only a medium sized city complete with multiple wells and all. It had its share of large amounts of farms and stores and even had a schoolhouse or two. The town actually had a major road that put it right in the middle of two of the larger cities so it had many visitors come in from all over. The town had a little marketplace even and auctions and games took place there as well.

Every building was made of wood and small amounts of stone. Stone was usually used as a base and not for effect at all. But in the big cities, stone was used in almost every building.

There was a large river that ran along the north side of Hollowfell. It actually looped around and cut through part of the town, but there was a bridge connecting the two parts. A wooden bridge.

But none of those things are what makes the town so famous. No in fact what makes the town famous is a large building in the shape of a rectangle on the outskirts of town. The building was actually the only building separated by the river so to get to it you either had to cross the river or take the bridge. But it was a large river so the bridge was always used. Yes this building, its large wooden structure and its three floors stands tall by itself. There are large banners that hang out of the windows of the building. One banner was red and gold and had a wolf painted on it. The other banner was scratched, tattered and torn and nopony could tell what the sign used to be on the building.

Only the old ponies remember. And only a select few are still around. This building, was indeed The Guild of Hollowfell.

The Guild was so renown for its way of producing some of the finest mages and assassins an enchanters Equestria has ever seen. The Guild helped train warriors for the battles at the Shores. The Fight for Dustor and even sent a few mages to help contain Ishkalah, known only as the Dark One.

This Guild stands ready to accept a new surplus of ready ponies who are willing to test their limits and see what they can accomplish. Letters have been sent out and now the Guild stands ready, with its banners hanging out and its doors wide open. It stands ready to accept new members.

But what the Guild, or the rest of Equestria doesn't know, is that while they have been sitting idly by..the doors of Tartarus have creaked open. The doors are slowly opening more and more each day. This is unknown to almost everypony in the land except for one, The Guildmaster. He is hoping this group of recruits will be the best the Guild has ever seen. All of Equestria is depending on it, they just don't know it yet.

Are you willing to join the Guild to fight?

    ----------------------------------------

Alright. This is an idea I had for a while now and I finally got around to posting it

So, your character can be either two things.

He/she can be a new recruit looking to join the Guild

He/she can be a mentor who will take a group of students as their own

I will be playing a mentor. Which means I will only be accepting one or two other mentors, depending on players interested.

Okay! Now for the specifics the Guild can train you in. Your character does not have to have any background with the field of training they accept .

Arcane Magic - This field of training focuses on teaching young mages to hone their magical abilities to be able to use their magic as a deadly weapon. Learning such skills as basic fire to fire blasts and almost every element in between. Not only does it focus on dealing magical damage, but it also teaches the mages how to limit themselves and how to balance their Arcane powers.

Arcane mages in the Guild usually work on learning new spells. Usually good for any job

Enchanting - The field of enchanting focuses on teaching Guild members how to manipulate the battlefield. Enchanters usually don't carry a physical weapon for the first skill they learn is conjuring. A master enchanter can conjure any weapon of his/her choosing. Besides conjuring weapons this branch of magic focuses on teaching enchanters how to control the elements as well. Elements limited to: Wind, Earth, and Water. A skilled enchanter that has a high knowledge of their element can be a skilled warrior in combat. Usually good for bodyguard and wisdom jobs. But can go on any job.

Hunting - The field of hunting teaches young ponies how to perfect the art of the kill. A skilled hunter doesn't need to be quiet he/she just needs to be smart. Hunting is among the least favorite among the fields the Guild offers. Reasons unknown. Hunting teaches ponies who are aspiring hunters how to lay traps and disarm traps. The field instructs ponies in the art of speaking many different languages. A skilled hunter must be smart in order to do his/her job.

Hunters are limited to ranged weapons and are good at Hunting jobs. A hunter can go on any job.

Assassination - The Guild's newest field they offer. This skill teaches young ponies how to take down any type of enemy with stealth. The art of assassination is a long road to take and takes a new recruit a long while to become the rank of assassin. This field teaches ponies the anatomy of most living things and the best points of place to strike. This field is unique in that ponies can't just walk in and pick the train in this field. But the ponies are picked by the Guild's assassins. Ponies who are in the assassin field are limited to daggers and smoke bombs. Nothing else. An assassin is the only pony that can do Stealth missions but he/she can go on any job.

Paladin Traning - This field is the most common among the Guild. It is the most popular and if you speak to any of the Guild's Paladins they will tell you Paladin training is the most fun. Paladin training teaches students how to wield their weapons the correct way and how to fight without a weapon. A Paladin can use any type of weapon and have no restrictions. Paladins are the only ponies that have training in fighting with heavy armor. They are also the only class that can wear heavy armor. Paladins can use swords and longswords and any weapon in between. Paladins cannot go on Stealth jobs but are good at any other jobs except Hunting.

Those are the "classes". With the Guild you are either assigned or select a field of training you wish to train in and the whole RP will consist of your character training to become a member of the Guild and graduate from Recruit.

    The Guild Job Board

This is a very important aspect of the RP. In the Guild there is a board where anypony can post a job they need done. An example might be: Local Merchant pony needs transport protection to the next city. Accept?

Some classes are better at jobs that are in their field of training. Such as Hunters and hunting jobs and Mages and research jobs.

But every class can go on any mission. Throughout the RP a mentor and his group will go on jobs to show their worth to the mentor. But with the doors of Tartarus opening the jobs should get...complicated

;) But nopony knows the doors are open except for the Guildmaster and his trusted officials.

    ----------------------------

So that's that! That is the whole premise of the RP! Here is the application form :)

  13. Casanova took the coupon and levitated it in front of him. He scanned over the words of the slip and then gently placed it in his saddlebag. He looked to Aloe with a generous smile. "This day just keeps getting better. Thank you. I'm certain you will see me visiting there soon."

Locke was actually quite dumbfounded. All of those things for a pony's complexion could be found in volcanic ash? That was amazing! "Huh..learn something new every day right?" He smiled to both Casanova and Aloe.

His ear's perked up once Aloe stated that she and her sister were originally from Trottingham. "Get out!" The stallion was rather exuberant. "I'm from Trottingham! Born and raised I was! But, I moved her to Canterlot in pursuit of work. And I have to say I love my job." The stallion kept his exuberant attitude. He was so excited, for he didn't meet many ponies that were from Trottingham. But as she told more of her story his smile slowly went away and he calmed down. "Well...at least things are going good right? Hate to hear that Miss Aloe...I'm sorry.."

Casanova nodded in agreement with Locke after hearing the whole story. "Agreed. If anything to just..help boost business. I could spread the word of you fine establishment at one of my next gatherings. That is, if I have your permission." He raised an eyebrow to her.

Locke became happy yet again. The spastic stallion looked to Casanova. "And will I be invited to this one?" He held his breath in anticipation.

The brown stallion took a few seconds to think it over and decided what the hay. "Yes...I suppose. But a week before we will discuss proper etiquette. Understand?" Locke nodded to him. "Yes I do!" The two stallions each gave light laughs and then looked back to Aloe.

  14. Casanova quickly raised an eyebrow and looked to Aloe. "You are Miss Aloe? Your sister is Miss Lotus?!" A big smile grew on his face. "Ponyville Day Spa? I've heard only impeccable things about you and your sisters establishment. I myself have actually never seen your spa but I would love to visit it one of these days!"

As Casanova was being...himself..Locke was actually impressed as well. Even though he had never gone to a Spa before he had heard the name Ponyville Day Spa spoken around Canterlot many a time. The place must be quite famous. But the thing that stuck out to Locke was the thing Aloe said she was here for. Volcanic ash?! For a mud bath?! No way! Locke would love to go explore a volcano! "Volcanic Ash!?" He then coughed nervously. "Apologies for the outburst. I know not a thing about Mud baths or spa treatments. I do, in fact, know a bit about Volcanoes." The stallion had a funny smile on his face. "I have decided that will be my next place to excavate. Mark my words I will do this! I will excavate a whole volcano!"

Casanova laughed lightly. "So Miss Aloe. Are you originally from Canterlot but built your Spa in Ponyville? Or were you born and raised in Ponyville?"

This was the moment. Well, this morning when Shady woke up was the moment. And when he forgot his camera was the moment. Also when he snapped the first picture of Sterling was the moment. Shady decided to consider all of those moments to be small moments. THIS, this was THE moment.

Sterling had agreed to answer a few of Shady's questions!

The little foal happily jumped up and down a few times as he laughed giddily to himself. He stopped and brought up his camera to snap another picture but stopped himself. "Oh yeah...warnings." The little foal's cheeks went red as he slowly lowered the camera. Shady trotted up and stood right next to Sterling. His little neck was nearly all the way back as he stared up to the stallion.

"Walking and Talking is great for me!" Shady actually was fine with either. But to him it sounded like Sterling wanted to walk and talk. So they will!

And after the first question Sterling followed it with another question asking if Shady had any questions in particular. Shady had a huge smile on his face and he reached down and went to pull out his notebook and pencil to write down Sterling's answers. But it would kind of hard to walk and talk with a pencil in his mouth and only being on three hooves.

Oh well, Shady had a decent memory.

So Shady decided it was time to ask his questions. "Alright! First Question: What is it like being a Royal Guard?" The little foal almost brought his hoof up as close to Sterling's mouth as he could to pretend it was a microphone. But he stopped midway.

  16. Locke rubbed his nose and scrunched it up a few times. The Diamond Dog's backside was rather hard and Locke was making sure his nose wasn't broken. After a few moments he assured himself it was fine. He tipped his hat back a bit and huffed. Maybe he was a bit clumsy..

"Excuse me... I couldn't help but notice the stumble and I came over to make sure you both were alright,"

Locke looked to where he heard the voice and noticed it was a mare whom he had never met before! The stallion gave a happy smile to her and appreciated her asking if he was alright. "Oh me?" He chuckled slightly. "You saw that then?" He nervously rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah...Uh...I was just distracted is all."

Casanova then intervened and cast a glance to the pink mare. He moved his long blue mane out of his face and said with a happy sarcastic smile. "Not distracted. Just Clumsy." Locke then pushed Casanova back a bit. "Quit it would ya?" The stallion then gave a few chuckles.

Locke brushed him off and looked back to Aloe. "I can't say I've seen you before then. What's ya name?" Casanova nodded in question agreement. "I as well have never seen you before and I know for a fact I would remember such a pony as yourself. Tell us. What is your name?"

  17. It was just a great day! Even for the odd pair of stallions that were spending the day in Canterlot together. The charcoal colored archaeologist, Locke Wind, who was currently wearing his archaeologist hat and matching pocket jacket. He was born and raised in Trottingham but he moved to Canterlot for work.

And the illustrious Casanova, a stallion who preferred the prim and proper and was a member of high society. The stallion can seem snooty at first, but he is quite the charmer.

The two stallions both lived in Canterlot and decided to spend a day together. The pair were trotting happily the bustling streets of Canterlot.

"So Casanova. You plan parties?" Locke questioned the large chocolate colored coated stallion. The stallion returned a happy nod knowing that Locke knew of his gathering.

"Yes I do. But I prefer to call them "Gatherings". Parties are what ruffians call them and where loud music is played and unfamiliar drinks are served. My gatherings provide a swell atmosphere and are always fun."

The comment caused Locke to raise an eyebrow. He liked Casanova though, they had known each other for a little while but that just means there is still room for their friendship to grow. "Riiight...well..why haven't I been invited to one of these Gatherings?"

Casanova stopped and panicked. He had known Locke for a bit but he had grown quite fond of the wiry stallion. "Uhh...I..uh...never know when you are home you see. What with you always being gone on excavations and such."

Locke pondered what Casanova said and then smiled to him. "Well, at least you were thinking of me!" The stallions both smiled at each other as the crisis was averted.

After a few turns and what not the pair continued to speak and such.

"What do you mean I'm clumsy?!"

"I'm just saying, when we stopped for that drink you tripped into that waiter causing the poor stallion to drop his whole glass."

"Yeah..well...that was just fluke. I can't be clumsy being and archaeologist and all! I'm the most observant stall--!" Just then Locke's face met the back of a Diamond Dog. Locke fell over and landed on the ground. "Uhh..what?"

"My point exactly." The brown unicorn chuckled slightly.

Locke, picked himself up and dusted himself off. "Whoa..sorry there big fella." He smiled slightly.
