1. Would FiM explore death? I'm not sure. I'd say probably not. There are certain things that parents should be left to teach their kids, and that is one of them. That's a bit outside the scope of this discussion. I know we've seen a funeral in FiM, but it was never a focus.

That comic is theoretical hyperbole to the events of S3 -- then again, so are a lot of things surrounding Princesses and their roles in Equestria, and how they work, exactly. Is Celestia immortal? Is Twilight, now? What about Cadance? More questions and no answers, at least for a while!

Actually, if we proposed Twilight is immortal, it'll start ANOTHER fandom idea.

What if, say, Twilight found out that she would be immortal for the rest of her life? (or at least live for an extremely long time like Princess Celestia) She'll have to face the pain of losing her friends and every pony she know from the bitterness of being mortal, or make the decision to give up her powers so she could be "mortal" like her friends.

  2. I think....I think I wont be able to get this theory out of my head.

It's very probable, and it makes a lot of sense. But grief is a feeling I know well, and I like to imagine that the ponies...the ponies are safe from grief. They're safe from horrible pain like that. In the past two years three friends of mine have died. It's the worst feeling in the world. You wake up every morning and you think about them. In whatever you do you think about them.

They can't avoid Twilight's memory, they would have to face it every single day. She changed Ponyville forever, she had the world on her shoulders. She an exceptional pony with a life ahead of her.

This has been an extremely disturbing little train of thought for me :(

However, I'll enjoy reading the fanfictions for this. They'll definitely be amazing :)

It's very doubtful "death" would actually strike in a show like MLP. To be honest, if this wasn't an "all aged" show, I wouldn't mind actually having death; not because I'm sadistic and I like it, but because it makes it more realistic, if they used it properly at the right times, that is.

i remember when my parents died my house and everything around me just felt, well, sad.

    Your parents died?

That's just really tragic and sad. I hope you're still okay.

...I feel so different, having everything I need when someone doesn't have enough.

  3. I can't stand time travel, because it always has holes. I'll make an exception for the stellar stories. but everything else gets judged harshly. The part that most irritated me about the concept for looper is that it makes no sense for the LAST kill to be yourself. The way it SHOULD work is that they send you yourself first, and if you pass the test, you get to keep going.

And that's the big hole of the whole story. It's most likely proposing that time travel can still be done by simply creating other "dimensions" or time lines.

At least you don't see overuse of time travel. That happens too much on other science fiction movies, and make things have less sense in them.

  4. Donald Glover is awesome! I love that they got him to voice a character.

Is he Marshall Lee in the latest Fionna and Cake episode?

Yes! Marceline totally writes the best fics for them. Also, dat ending. Wat. Like. Glob, you know Ice King is cray. So like, what if they made an episode where the universes somehow came together? I mean, with all the magic and weird stuff in the show, it's not too farfetched.

If Ice King wasn't so egotistic, he's actually not bad at making fan fiction. Needs more "silver foxes".

  5. Some more derpy action would be awesome :)) I can see the troll though :/. I do hope Season 4 goes well, Season 3 was interesting to say the least XD

Best guess is they won't actually put a voice or have focused action on Derpy. Mostly they'll just show her in the background or at most, mention her.

  6. yeah, her cutie mark was gonna be a sun and a cloud but I was afraid It'd look too much like Princess Celestias or Rainbow dashes, but thank you for this<3.

    That's Cloudkicker's.

It's fine for two ponies to have the same cutie mark.(Ex: Sparkler's and Ruby Pinch's cutie mark is similar, but different colours, or Lyra and her pegasus doppelganger.)

    Is your OC a pegasus?

If your want a colour you want, it's best you refer to another colour (Gray, Blue, Green, etc.) and start searching more specifically (Cerise, fairway green, royal blue, etc.), and copy the code or RBG of it. If you think your pony's colours don't fit together, observe other people's OCs or background ponies. I don't use Pony Creator, I usually draw it out instead so I could make a more creative mane and tail style, and add accessories or clothing Pony Creator can't do.

Ruby Pinch has wings! :o Or it's probably a doppelganger.

Found one of the oldest threads and I'm trying to bring it back. Lol. So, any more speculation as to who Scootaloo's parents are? Is she staying in Ponyville with her sibling, like Sweetie Belle? Even after season three, we still don't have any ideas as to who they are. Myabe she lives with Cloud Kicker or something? I don't know. Anyone have any thoughts on the issue?

Things are best left unknown. Though my best guess is that Scoots has parents than the widely used orphan Scootaloo. Too dark and sad for the show.

I think the reason why they don't show her parents it that it might kill a lot of the fandom stories and arts.

  8. Hasbro won't even think of canning Derpy, it's too risky for them, and that will mean that they're giving up all their Derpy merchandise. Companies would sometimes force things, but this kind of move would seriously upset the fanbase and they would lose money.

As for the other things, it's just stating already known facts. Twilicorn doesn't count as bad, as least the way they set up the episode.

I hope Season 4 will go out well.

  9. It was a busy day, at least for Long Drive.

Long Drive was carrying a golfing bag, filled with clubs which varied from the 9.5 driver to the putter. The bottom was inches away from the ground, and he himself was trying not to give way to the weight of the bag.

He had finally finished all 18 holes in the Ponyville Golf Course, and in his opinion, had done quite well overall, in fact, one hole below than the total amount of par needed. He enjoyed the little victory to himself, though having skill on on the rather relaxing game of golf, playing well on the golf course (mostly) was not a common sight to him; his recently acquired cutie mark proved so. Now that was a big victory, Long Drive thought. It was the shot that brought him to where he was now.

He expected more from a town like Ponyville, however. Coming from a gigantic city, Hoofington, the life here in Ponyville seemed too simplistic. From a place where ponies depended more on machinery for work, most things were made by hoof with little use of such machinery. Ponyville's typical house was made from the natural resource of wood and barely surpassed three floors, while Hoofington's housing complexes always went above sevens floors, sometimes even with an elevator. And compared to Hoofington, Ponyville was a grain of rice in a bowl. It took him a while to understand this when his parents and he arrived at Ponyville for a "vacation" with lasted for a few months. Long Drive was not used to this kind of life, and it frustrated him that if he stayed here longer, he would once again have to assimilate back to his city life again.

The point was further proved when Long Drive already picked his places of interest almost if he lived here, though he was only here for a week. The earth pony colt was hoping he could quickly grow a habit in the temporal living style in Ponyville, so he wouldn't cause any embarrassment to the community. He learned this the hard way when he found out the general store didn't sell any typewriter ink, leaving him in awkwardness when he found out the truth.

His current "routine" in Ponyville would to be idly relax, which was the reason why he brought out a science fiction book with him. The genre was fascinating to the pony, and the book he was holding- The Time Machine- was no exception. It said of a time traveler pony who used his trusty time machine, wouldn't you believe that, to go forward hundreds of thousands of years forward in time. He traveled to a post-apocalyptic world, where he met aliens which inhabited their world and that ponykind had died out completely. The thought of ponies being extinct terrified the young colt, since it seemed nearly impossible yet possible at the same time. Long Drive had to soon read more of the story to find out of the time traveler escape further into the future.

Unfortunately, his bench seat was taken away from him. He saw another pony, a unicorn actually, sitting on the bench, enjoying his cup of coffee. His posture and choice of drink gave a somewhat suave and debonair feeling to it. Nonetheless, he was occupying his seat.

"Hey!" he shouted. "That seat was mine!"

  10. Hello, welcome to Canterlot. :)

So, you like archery and surfing? What about at the same time?

Surfing while doing archery! If only I could purchase target circle buoys...

    Anyways, welcome to Canterlot!

  11. Hello again.

Just a few things need to be addressed before you're ready to have fun.

You should describe your pony's mane and tail style.

Also due to the influx of ponies in Ponyville there has been a hiousing crisis. I reccommend moving our pony to another of the many great places to live.

    Edited. :)

I believe I have placed a picture in the spoiler to reference to the appearance, but if you can't see it, I did the description just in case.

  12. Assassin's Creed 3, Halo Reach and 4 (Left the 2 and 3 when I moved), DMC: Devil May Cry.

Please don't do Call of Duty: MW3. It's a mistake my brother wanted that.

Also played Darksiders, Minecraft, Devil May Cry 4, and older Elder Scrolls games (along with Skyrim)

Computer would be chess and League of Legends, mostly the former. Learn some rules in chess and play it for a while, maybe you could play me.
