1. The mail pony decided to answer his question and start up a conversation. He looked at the pony as he described what was evidently the best glass of water ever. A small chuckle escaped him just before he was asked for his name. "I'm Peace Keeper." He introduced himself as he shook Care's hoof. "So, what do you do? You know, for a living." He asked more to confirm his hunch than anything else. Even if he was a mailpony, there was no way that Peace himself could be one. Or could he? Delivering good news would be something right up his alley.

  2. Princess Celestia stood up and walked to one of the many windows in her throne room. Through the window, she saw the magic academy, now cloaked in a cover of colourlessness. It seemed that another great power had been found. That level of power hadn't been seen since she had discovered Twilight herself. She wanted to go to the young unicorn who had discovered potential, but it wasn't her place. Just as she had discovered and guided Twilight, Twilight must do the same with this new one.

Returning once again to her throne, the princess summoned a scroll of parchment. Even if there was a crisis, Celestia's first duty was to her country and its ponies. Her quill scribbled on the scroll, putting royal decrees on it. Until she was killed by Sombra or Chrysalis, she would act as if they weren't even a thought.

  3. I actually enjoyed most of season 3. Sure it had it's bad parts, but it had great parts too. I enjoyed Sleepless In Ponyville, Wonderbolts Academy, Magic Duel (Namely due to Zecora being a magic mentor), and One Bad Apple (any excuse to hear CMC sing). As for Bab's behavior in OBA, she isn't normally a bully, she just didn't want to be bullied (although they could have showed her at least feeling bad about it....)

But enough about season 3! This thread is labeled season 4, so we need to talk about that! What do you guys think is going to happen in 4? I think one of the CMC is going to get her cutie mark and the group has to learn how to deal with it. After all, how can you still be a cutie mark crusader if you have a cutie mark?

  4. Peace ran as fast as he could in an attempt not to be locked out. His new job was running later than he had expected, and he didn't want to miss what had become his daily ritual of drinking El's tea. In a short time, the door was in front of him. Taking a deep breath, he regained a regular breathing pattern and opened the door. As he entered and made his way to a table, the blue stallion scanned the room."How's everpony doing today?" he asked with a gentle smile on his face.

He decided to take a seat at a table near what he could only assume was the mailpony. Looking down at the menu, the tough decision came to him. He had tried most of the teas, but hadn't figured out which one he liked the most. Instead of thinking about it too hard, he decided to ask the owner when she came.

  5. Right, then I guess I'll be going for AJ.

    Name: Applejack

    Species: (Human) Earth Pony

    Description:

Personality: Applejack is a very down to earth person with a strong independent streak. She is always willing to help those around her, though she isn't so accepting of others helping her. Her work ethic is incredibly strong and she doesn't back down from a friendly competition, but she does have a tendency to put too much on her plate.

History: Applejack grew up on her family farm with her grandmother, older brother and little sister. Ever since she was young, she had been working on the farm. There was a short time where she attempted to live with her aunt and uncle in the big city, but soon discovered that the country life suited her much better. Now she goes to school, but really she just wants to be able to run the farm.

  6. What I would like to know is where the idea that gems are cheap or basically worthless came from. If it is because Spike eats them, there are some meals in the real world that most people couldn't afford if they worked all their lives. If it is because they are common, it does help when one of the mane 6 has the abilities to easily find the jewels. The gems probably aren't worth as much on Equestria as they are on Earth, but they aren't really worthless.

  7. Celestia read the letter her sister had sent her. Good, she thought to herself, I had hoped she knew of the situation. The fact that Luna was planning as well calmed her some, though the memory of Chrysalis defeating her was still fresh in her mind. No, I can't let that occur again. Even if they were attacked, Celestia knew that Twilight would have the potential to defeat them, as well as would Discord. A sigh escaped her, "Discord..." as she whispered his name under her breath, a seed of mistrust planted itself. It was unwanted, and Celestia tried to forget about it, but he would always be a wild card.

  8. I think Equestria has a barter system, it's just that bits are the easiest thing to trade. After all, a single cherry ranged in price from 2 bits to 20 bits. Therefore there isn't really any set value for the bits or gems.

  9. So yeah, I guess I just want to show off some of my doodles and get some feedback. I know these pics are kinda big, but that's because I have no sense of scale ^_^;

So I guess this is the my digital persona "GamerKane"

  10. Celestia sat in her thrown room, waiting for Discord to return with news from Twilight. The silence of the throne room drilled into her, forcing her to do something. Her horn glowed yellow as a piece of parchment and quill appeared before her. It would be unfair if Luna didn't know as well. The quill ran against the scroll, "My dearest sister Luna. I know you are busy attending to your Moon Kingdom, but dark times have occurred. The Crystal Empire has fallen with the death of Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor. The crystal land is now under the control of Sobmra and Chrysalis.r She signed the letter and sent it off. This had been the most dangerous situation ever, and she knew that it was just starting. Internally, fear swept over her, but she wouldn't show it.

  11. Name: Princess Celestia

    Age: Well over 2000 years

    Species: Alicorn

Appearance: White coat with a flowing mane of pink, blue and green

    Cutie mark: The Sun

History: Celestia has ruled over Equestria for longer than most ponies have been alive. In her younger days, she protected the kingdom from evil with the help of Luna, up until the day she had to banish her sister to the moon. On that day, she lost the ability to use the elements of harmony and started looking for the next holder of the elements. When she discovered Twilight Sparkle, the princess guided the young mare in the ways of magic and friendship, allowing her to find the elements and protect Equestria.

Anything else: ((I'll admit this right up front, I've never played anyone as regal as Celestia, so this will be a challenge for me.))

  12. Well, the really weird thing is that KH hasn't been on a current console in any form. I find that to be quite odd. It isn't that they aren't still making games, but they are all on portables. I guess Square-Enix has decided that the series should be portable? Then again, maybe only KH3 will be placed on a home console, but who knows when that is going to be...

  13. I recently discovered a little indie game called Fairy Bloom Freesia. It's an action RPG that plays like Super Smash Bros. It's quite fast paced, and good for a little cathartic fun.

Another one is Recettear, which is an RPG where you play as the shop keeper for a town. Some days you have to go to the various dungeons to get things, but since your character isn't built for combat, you get to choose between a few mercs to play as during this part.

  14. This thread needs updating. There are more social parties vying for dominance now. The Crystal Empire, The Changeling Monarchy (weakened, but still a threat, in my opinion), and now Princess Twilight's Regime (that's the only name I can come up with right now) are also possibilities. For now, I'm going with the Lunar Republic. At least until this thread is revised, or a new one is made.

Wait we can vote for The Changeling Monarchy?! I am so changing my vote! Gotta love the fact that Chrysalis goes and does some of the dirty work herself. Plus she is crafty, but has her people's best interests at heart.
