  1. Name: Scipio

    Sex: Male

    Age: Young Adult

    Species: Earth Pony

Personality: Cynical and sadistic, Scipio has the personalities of a slaver and happily works as one in what he views as part of the natural cycle in the Equestrian Wasteland.

    Any distinguishing features: N/A

Preferred fighting style: He wields a Light Machine Gun as his primary weapon, relying on his own personal experience to wield it rather than sheer strength. To help him, he also carries a battle saddle, where the LMG can freely attached and detached. In addition to this, he carries a standard Service Rifle and a 9mm pistol. He wears metal armor, due to the fact that he prefers to be 'safe than sorry'.

History: Scipio was born in your typical Wasteland community, a town that ran a number of caravans, including ones that traded slaves. Whilst it didn't actively enslave others, it had no qualms with trading them. Life was dangerous and chaotic, as you would expect. He was brought up to be a merchant and worked on a number of caravans at young age. Constant raids meant that he was on his toes and he learnt how to maintain, load and fire a weapon early in his life. Many of these run-ins were particularly brutal and it was often a strong case of sink or swim. Constant travelling means that he eventually became literate, a skill that would be highly useful and more rare in a post-apocalyptic society. Upon reaching his teenage years, he decided to leave his home town, joining a group of mercenaries that were passing by. He spent several years working for them, performing a wide variety of contracts with them. Experience in combat would prove to be useful in the future. When he returned home, he worked in the caravans again, but he felt that he wasn't earning enough to support himself, once again leaving. He met a group of slavers, who offered an alternative line of work. His experience in the caravans and that as a mercenary would prove to be useful. However, slavers always have a poor reputation and after a failed raid against a small town which made a counter-attack, massacring most of the slavers , Scipio ran, taking a few slave collars to continue his business. Feeling lost in a big world with no way to get back, he bunkered down in an old radio station, which had long since broke. The radio station was able to intercept the distress call and Scipio, being the optimist that he is, headed there in the hope of either work, or ponies that he could capture and sell into slavery.

  2. It got a fair rating if you ask me. As a brony, I enjoyed it, and I especially liked Sunset Shimmer as a character, but I don't think she was developed well enough. As a critic though, it wasn't exactly a great film. Sunset Shimmer wasn't developed well enough, she's just that as a main antagonist without much of a backstory. We just know that she was a former pupil of Celestia, and for those who read the comic, a pony who wants to rule Equestria. But how does she know Twilight? Why was she like the way she is? How would she rule Equestria? Why does she think she's so powerful? We don't know. It was also your fairly cliche high school film. Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable and I say that as a brony, but if I was a parent taking their 6 year old daughter to watch this family, I would be that half of the family who wouldn't like it.

  3. Before I used to hate Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. Call this cynical, but the reason I hated Fluttershy was because she was so pathetic and weak. However, I eventually caught onto her and didn't really mind her that. Pinkie Pie was just annoying and her songs were terrible, but then I got over it. Both were acquired tastes to me. Celestia is also my favourite princess; Luna kinda did nearly destroy the whole of Equestria, plus the last episode of Season 2 did kinda prove that Celestia wasn't just some boring princess, even though she did lose that fight. For some reason, I also have a liking to villains such as Trixie, but perhaps more unconventional choices like Sunset Shimmer, who might be my new favourite character because of the amount of potential she holds in fanfics. And finally, I absolutely, and without a shadow of a doubt this will not change, hate Derpy Hooves. She's a background characters and I don't get why people like her. Seriously, why did Hasbro give her some lines? She's not important to the show what-so-ever.

  4. Fair game. To be honest, now that I've been away for a few months, the character sort of confuses me as well and I have less understanding of what I want to get out of it in comparison to four months and one week ago. Yeah, keep it for FFA I guess, I'll come back to her at a point in a future, although my interest for her has waned and even if it got accepted, I probably wouldn't have done anything with her. Go for it then.

  5. I've edited the application, adding in the explanation of the meaning of the cutie mark, removing the reference to age and editing the parts regarding the Wonderbolts. Thank for your help, do you think you could give it a read and give your opinion on it.

  6. Oh great. Looks like it's going to be in MLP canon as well. I don't like the concept of it being a drama based around a secondary school (high school, or whatever you call it). It'll be like other high school dramas, except with the Mane 6.

  7. That's fine, the reason why I'm holding information back about Freelancer is mainly story-related spoilers. However app-related info involving Freelancer will need my permission just to make sure it lines up with canon and to make sure it doesn't reveal any spoilers, If it's off or needs changing I'll let you know.

If you say so. Application has been modified following your advise.
