  1. Compass Rose was about to joyfully say she'd join the Cutie Mark Crusaders when Miss Cherrilee announced the start of class. The unicorn filly turned her attention back to the front of the class, then looked at her classmates. She was excited about what she brought, but wasn't much on going first. Instead she sighed with relief when Scootaloo was chosen.

Moments later the unicorn was on the edge of her seat, rather excited. She'd heard of Rainbow Dash and this Sonic Rainboom she was famous for.

  2. Compass looked at the two friends, it'd be nice to know what you want to do. She had fun trying different things, but honestly knowing would be even better. It'd certainly end the teasin.. Unless her destiny was something lame. Like slug farmer, or someone who times paint drying. The thought made the unicorn shudder, before she blew a curly indigo lock of mane from one of her blue eyes. "I don't wanna be a slug farmer.."

  3. "I was running a few errands," Compass replied. She couldn't tell if Finny was blind, close to it, or just liked looking around. Deciding it was none of her business she busied herself look each pony over. She liked meeting new ponies, they often gave her ideas for new stories to tell. "I was about to go check the mail at my shop."

  4. Compass smiled at the unicorn, nodding. "Mhm. It's where this statue is from. My uncle bought it after he met Princess Celestia." The mention of her cutie mark, or lack thereof, caused Compass to frown, her ears lowering. Until she nticed both were also blank flanks. She gave a shy smile and nodded. "Yes.I've tried almost everything, so far nothing."

  5. Compass made a noise quite like a growl before sticking her tongue out at the colt. She quickly turned her attention back to her statue, moving it with a hoof so the glitter in Celestia's mane sparkled. As she fiddled with it, the filly mumbled to herself. Something along the lines of didn't want to be friends anyway and sour candies.

  6. ((Flink, please.))

Compass frowned when the colt acted like she had some disease. Maybe he thought she was picking on him. "I'm Compass Rose, what's your name?" She had just asked when she saw the teacher talking to a young pegasus, the unicorn trying to strain so she could hear their conversation and why the teacher was blushing.

  7. "He did, apparently some rich pony invited him as they bought pieces of center for an event there and she was there." Compass looked to the statue, smiling rather dreamily. "He said if he goes again, I can join him. This time, maybe we'll both meet Princess Celestia and Princess Luna."

"I'm sure I'll get my cutie mark someday. I'm hoping it something cool. Like a star, or maybe something magical, since I'm a unicorn."

  8. Compass smiled at the filly's thanks. "Let me know if you need to. I'm willing to share. I don't mind being a blank flank, it's the teasing I dislike. I like trying new things to see what my destiny will be." When Sugar Song asked about the statue, Compass shrugged. "My uncle Brass Antique met the Princess Celestia and bought this shortly after. He gave it to me, since I had the flu and couldn't join him on that trip."

  9. +ompass Rose sighed with relief when at least one of the ponies answered. She took the moment while waiting on the mare's reply to look over each of the ponies. She was happy to see all three weren't looking angry at all as she sat on her haunches. "Excellent, excellent. I'm quite horrible at playing nurse, to be honest."

  10. Compass Rose was about to set up her antinque stand when the most delightful scent teased her nose. Inhaling deeply, she recognizedthe smell of homemade cookies. She had to lick her lips, careful that she wasn't drooling. She pulled the brown canvas from her stand, looking it over before turning towards the smell. Luckily it was right next to her stand, with the deep brown and brilliant blue striped top, allowing her to trop over and wait in line for a cookie. The mare was practically in a dream state, careful to keep from drooling in anticipation.

  11. Compass Rose stood up, shaking out of reflex before blushing. "Sorry, I'll do my best, ma'am." She grabbed her statue in her mouth and looked around at the empty seats, opting for once next to the other new filly, Sugar Song. Placing the statue on the desk, the young unicorn looked to her new classmate, smiling brightly. "Mornin', I'm Compass Rose."

She turned to Shadow, the pony who was amused by her entrance, smiling back rather mischieviously, "So, how would you rate my entrance?"
