The claw hit Munna bang on target, and since it was still weak, was easily knocked out. Ink returned it to it's Poké Ball, then brought out Frillish. "Water Pulse!" He ordered. Frillish took the water vapor in the air, then formed it into a sphere, then launched it at Cranidos.

"Frillish, return." He said. Frillish went back into it's Poké Ball, and Ink grabbed Munna's. "Go! Energy Ball!" Munna came forth, and swiftly shot the energy ball. Since it was Grass, it would be strong, but it wouldn't do too much; it looked like it had good defence.

Ink stared in disbelief as Onix shrugged off a Hydro Pump. As he stood, shocked, the Onix went in for a Headbutt, Ink merely smirked. The head passed right through Frillish, having no effect. "Frillish is a Ghost type Pokemon." He informed Roark. "It has a unique typing of Ghost and Water. Now, Ice Beam and Hydro Pump!" Frillish opened it's mouth and shot a frozen spike of water towards Onix. "Unless you can boost your Special Defence, this'll be a toughie." He said, smirking.

"Ha! I'm prepared for that!" He shouted. "Ominous Wind!" Frillish then whipped up a strong wind, able to be seen. The sandstorm vanished, and Frillish grabbed hold of Onix. "Hydro Pump!" Ink ordered. Frillish, at a very close range, shot a huge vortex of water at Onix.

"Munna, you've earned a good rest. Return." He said. Fumbling around in his bag, he brought out another Pokeball. "Frillish, time to shine!" He yelled. The Poké Ball flew through the air, and then, out came a smiling pink Jellyfish. It floated around at a high speed. "Water Pulse." Frillish formed a ball of water, then threw it at Onix. Water Pulse, depending on he size of he object would either trap it if it wasn't too big, or would burst on conctact and attack the target with speedy water currents.

"Protect." He calmly ordered. Munna shielded herself with a green orb, and easily defended herself against the rocks. Once the rocks were done, Ink's plan was entering Phase 2. "Psychic!" Munna levitated all the pieces of rock, and formed it into one huge boulder. With all of her effort, she spun round, and sent the boulder speeding towards Geodude.

Ink didn't say a word. He believed Roark was trying to get him to speak, to break his concentration. But he wouldn't fall for it. Determination surged through him, and the answer swiftly came to him. "Munna, keep calm." He said in a soothing voice. "Roark is up to something. Don't let your guard down."

"Perfect..." He mumbled to himself. "Dodge it!" Munna levitated swiftly away, and dodged the rocks speeding towards her. As they fell, some smashed the bigger rocks, and broke into pieces - some were powerful enough to break some of the already set rocks. "Munna, Energy Ball in rapid succession!" Munna floated up, and began to shoot ball after ball towards Geodude, each stronger than the last. Munna ended at 6, then readied herself for a retaliation.

Ink grinned, and didn't want to waste a moment. "Energy Ball!" He commanded. Munna floated up, formed a green ball filled with nature's power, and shot it at Geodude at top speed.

"No, as in each trainer has 3 Pokemon, and each battle is 1v1." He replied patiently. "Anyway, let's go! Munna, time to shine!" Ink threw a Poke Ball into the air, and watched as the beam of blue transformed into Munna. Catching his Poke Ball and placing it in his Bag, he awaited Roark's move.

Ink walked over to his side of the field, grabbed Munna's Poke Ball and stared straight ahead. The field was as he had imagined, so his battle strategy would work. "It's a 3 on 3, correct?" He asked Roark.

"Yes!" He replied, "I'm here for a Gym battle." Ink was nervously shaking. The Gym leader looked strong, and he had no doubt his Pokemon would be too. He activated his magic and levitated a Poke Ball out. "Where do we begin?" He asked with a grin.

Ink stood in a flat grassy area in Whitetail. Focusing his magic, he enveloped himself in a dark blue aura, and with a loud bang, vanished. With his magic drained, Ink trotted around Ponyville, looking around. Within seconds, he was standing at the Gym Leader's door. Ink felt ready. He had trained tirelessly, and was going to challenge the gym. Raising his hoof, he knocked on the door, and awaited a reply. While waiting, he nervously shifted back and forth. He looked into his bag, and among the books and map, he saw the 3 Poke Balls, each containing a Pokemon. Among his time training, a very brave Frillish had challenged him. It had been soundly defeated and captured thanks to Munna, and now happily joined him on his quest. He thought his strategy over. He would lead with Munna, and use her Energy Ball...

Ink took deep breaths to steady himself and not go completely mad at the Pokemon - something was amiss with it. [colour=#ff0000]"Fine, you can tag along." [/colour]he replied.[colour=#ff0000] [/colour]He called Munna back, told Torchic to go on his back, and decided to check their location with the map. A Pokemon Centre was nearby in Whitetail Woods, and a Poke Mart. It looked like a good place to head too. [colour=#FF0000]"There's a Pokemon Centre and Mart over that way." [/colour]he said to them all, pointing over to the north-west part of the forest.

[colour=#ff0000]"Torchic, dodge it!" [/colour]he exclaimed. Torchic jumped into the air and landed behind the mysterious Pokemon. Ink watched as some other ponies came and started to battle this creature, one attempting to catch it. There was also a new face in the crowd, but that'd be for later. [colour=#ff0000]"Ember, Torchic!" [/colour]he cried. Torchic began to shoot fire balls at the Pokemon. [colour=#FF0000]"Listen, you mysterious talking Pokemon. Trainers and Pokemon live in peace and harmony. We play together, help eachother and battle others like us to deepen and strengthen our bond. If it's your resolve to take them away from us...." [/colour]he said in a determined voice. [colour=#ff0000]"I'll never let you do that! Munna, use Psychic!" [/colour]His Munna then shot blue beams of energy at the Pokemon.

Well, the reason I've exploded is that I'm not on my Laptop - this is my friends, and the date of this post is the last day I'll be able to post for a while. Hence why I'm screwing going slow qwq. But, y'know, one post can be all it takes to catch up to us, or start going somewhere else for your character. But still, sorry for going so fast. I did fail to see the downsides it'd have on you guys. -
Torchic continued shooting, and followed something flying through the sky, landing a bit deeper in the forest. Torchic glowed green, and it adopted an offensive stance. Whatever it was, Torchic didn't like it. [colour=#ff0000]"Ember!" [/colour]he called. Torchic shot more fiery balls in the direction of the Pokemon, and then started to run towards it. [colour=#ff0000]"Peck!" [/colour]he commanded. Torchic glowed green, it's beak grew longer and it went white as it bolted towards the Pokemon.

Ink's ears twitched, and he felt a shudder; it was as if he was being watched. As if in response, Torchic burst out of it's Pokeball, and attacked a nearby tree with Ember, and Ink dived to the side and wondered why in the wide, wide, world of Equestria he had done that.

[colour=#ff0000]"Munna, come on out!" [/colour]he said. Levitating a Potion over to Munna, he sprayed some of it on her wounds, then walked over to Time and Cloud. [colour=#ff0000]"I see you got a Shinx!"[/colour] "Shinx, The Flash Pokemon. [colour=#000000]The extension and contraction of its muscles generates electricity. It glows when in trouble."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Using his Pokedex, he learned the moves of his Munna.[/colour] Looking around, he then noticed some other Pokemon. Pointing towards them, he ordered Munna to use Charge Beam against a few Starly's. Then, he ordered Psychic, and watched as Munna shot blue beams towards the nearby Pokemon. [colour=#FF0000]"Great job, Munna! Your really strong!"[/colour]

[colour=#ff0000]"New Pokemon!" [/colour]he called. Galloping forwards, he bolted around, looking far and wide at every pokemon he could. In just a few seconds, he found himself face-to-face with a mysterious floating pink Pokemon. Levitating his Pokedex, he scanned the Pokemon. "Munna, The Dream Eater Pokemon. [colour=#000000]It eats the dreams of people and Pokémon. When it eats a pleasant dream, it expels pink-coloured mist."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Levitating his Pokeball, he threw Torchic out and ordered it to use Ember on the Munna. Torchic flashed green, then began shooting Munna with little bits of fire at mach speed. The Munna was taken by surprise, and fell down, weakened. [/colour] [colour=#FF0000]"Scratch!" [/colour]he ordered. Torchic scratched the Munna with it's claws, leaving it dazed on the ground, but not quite defeated. [colour=#ff0000]"Pokeball, go!"[/colour] He grabbed a Poke Ball from his bag and threw it at the Munna. It made contact, and within moments, the Munna was inside the Poke Ball as it shook. Ink watched, his mind racing, hoping it had worked, that he'd done it right. After a long time of shaking, eventually the Poke Ball froze. Levitating it up to him, he spun around, raised it to the sky and declared: [colour=#FF0000]"I got... A Munna!"[/colour]

Ink turned around, looking to see another pony trotting over to them. [colour=#FF0000]"Yeah, we're together."[/colour] he informed them. He then noticed the Piplup on the trainer's back. [colour=#ff0000]"Oh, wow! A Piplup!"[/colour] Levitating his Pokedex out of his Bag, he pointed it at the Piplup and listened as it informed him. "Piplup, The Penguin Pokemon. [colour=#000000]It lives along shores in northern countries. A skilled swimmer, it dives for over 10 minutes to hunt."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Pointing over to the Chimchar, he once again listened to what it had to tell him.[/colour] [colour=#000000]"Chimchar, The Chimp Pokemon. [/colour][colour=#000000]It is very agile. Before going to sleep, it extinguishes the flame on its tail to prevent fires."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Putting his Pokedex away, he trotted over to Cloud and walked alongside him as they went into Whitetail Woods.[/colour]

[colour=#ff0000]"Nope! I'm a Co-Ordinater. But I do also sometimes battle the Gyms, but not really." [/colour]he replied. Levitating his Town Map out of his bag, he quickly inspected it. [colour=#ff0000] "How about we head through Whitetail Wood, and go towards Garden Gait? Y'know, for some good training.[/colour]

Ink watched as his Torchic barely scraped out the win, and managed to resist the temptation of yelling out. [colour=#FF0000]"Great battle, Cloud!" [/colour]he remarked. He turned around to Torchic, and was about to congratulate it, when he saw it fall down and faint - it was exhausted. Trotting over to it, he levitated a Potion out of his bag and gave it to his Torchic. He watched as the Potion took effect and healed it, giving soothing words to Torchic. Then, he got two Oran Berries and fed one to Torchic, giving the other one to Cloud. As he dropped it near Cloud, he had a sudden stroke of inspiration. [colour=#FF0000]"Hey, Cloud, wanna travel together?"[/colour]he asked.

Ink could sense the battle was coming to a close; the Ember looked weaker, but if it did hit, he'd lose. [colour=#ff0000]"Dodge it!" [/colour]he called. Torchic ran behind Chimchar, dodging the Ember barely. [colour=#ff0000]"Run in circles around it and use Ember!"[/colour] Torchic shot a few balls of fire, before running round in circles while using Ember, attacking it from all sides practically at once due to it's immense speed.

Torchic fell on the ground, and at blinding speed, the Chimchar smashed into it. Torchic got sent flying, and smashed into the ground, before slowly getting up. With it's eyes closed, it slowly walked forwards, then it opened it's eyes in a flash and took a battle stance. [colour=#ff0000]"Nice! We can do this!" [/colour]he called encouragingly. [colour=#ff0000]"Scratch!" [/colour]Torchic flashed green, then instantly appeared above Chimchar. It's feet grew white, and it attempted to slash Chimchar.
