Steel jumped back rather than look up, he was only partially aware that it may be a trick, he then let his guard down to glance up. He then heard bronze and was ready to block the next attack. He was fully aware it was a trick now.

Brave landed on the ground, proud that it seems he canceled the attack, but now he has to find a way to slow her back down. "Vex, any way I could punch through her speed?" He asked, seeing as its her sister, she should know a weakness or two.

(Still going a little far dude. Let the other person do what he/she was going to do. It's up to her if my attack fails, since she's my weapon and your Meister. Just do what I do with a bad response.)

(That totally wasn't overpowering it. Dude, vex and whisper aren't your characters. Let their successes or fails be theirs.)

It was with great force that Brave hit, and then he jumped up towards her and tried to swing vex at whisper to juggle her a little before he tried to slam her back into the ground. He was desperate in not letting her perform the technique as it may result in fatal consequences if she's not careful.

(Sorry, bad response...)

Brave smirked, "if you can get enough time to use it!" He chuckled, then went off in a sprint so fast it was nearly like a slow teleport. "Peekaboo!" He said as he went to bash the hilt of vex into her back to make them airborne.

Brave swings Vex behind him, barely parrying her attack and swings his leg behind to trip her.

Brave bent backwards, partying the attack and performing a backflip he then looked back and chuckled. "You're fast. I like that!" He chuckled, now it just seemed like he was toying with her... For now...

(Sorry, I didn't intend to save that one... )

"Alright, lets play~" he chuckled as he waited for them to make the first move.

"Vex, don't try to kill her. It's just a little friendly competition." He said.

Brave caught Vex and twirled her a little. "Hey, Whisper! How about a friendly little spar?" He chuckled, "what better way to train than an opponent that moves around?"

The rest of the students stayed in the class, since they wanted to leave early. Strong watched the group leave, feeling proud of them, seeing as he may have been wrong about them. After a while, they managed to get to the training grounds, there was just about anything they could think of that could improve their capabilities. "Lets try to get some practical learning in. Learning from books isn't going to tell us how to get used to our weapons, let alone wield them properly..." He said.

"You know, that does sound like a good idea. We do that, we can easily get ourselves a kishin soul or two." Steel chuckled, "though I'd like to know the instructor's name..." "Strong Hooves." "Alright, thank you sir--" "Just strong is fine." "Anyway, lets go train Vex." Brave said.

"You don't have to call her meister, her first name is acceptable if she's ok with it." The instructor said.

"Do you want to add bronze's report on top of yours?" He growled to Vex, hinting that bronze, doing as he was told, didn't have to do his paper now. "Today's just a day where you get to meet your weapon, you can get acquainted and so on. Since there are three that I was expecting that didnt show up, the rest of you are permitted to go to the training grounds and practice, or you may stay here and we can get started with introductions and get you out of class early."

"Yes." He said.

"Hm... I would err on the side of caution rather than make a fatal mistake, and say that you don't have to eat the souls. However, you do need to wield your weapon in order for him to do so." He said. Then he looked to Vex, "I'd highly recommend getting on that report sooner than later." He said.

"That depends, which are you a majority of?" He asked, "weapon or meister?"

"Just like with those two, her life is in your hands! The problem here is that you weapons in here lack discipline. You need to learn a thing or two about it before you and your meisters can be efficient teams." He said, then started pacing. "I hate to do this to you all on your first day, but I'm going to give you your first homework assignment today rather than tomorrow... I expect to see each of the weapons in this class with a kishin soul each. And then you two... I want you two to write me a one hundred page report." He growled. "You are writing a report on respect..." He growled, pointing to bronze. "And you a report on humility!" Pointing to Vex. He then looked to whisper, "yes, what is it?" He asked, the anger immediately leaving his voice.

"Do you realize that his life rests in your hands? Any assignment that you two go on together, you showing off will only get you two killed!" He said, he then pointed to Bronze. "You? Who's your meister?"

"Alright, I'm not getting the best impression of this group... Is this seriously the kind of ponies that come through the CWMA anymore?" He asked, getting out of his seat, he pointed to Vex. "Who's your meister?" He asked, knowing who was what now.

"No, it's because I know I'll hurt you." He growled. "Um... Vex? It's probably best that you listen to him... I mean... He IS an instructor here, and he probably has way more experience than all of us combined..." Steel said, letting his common sence kick in.
