Eeeeeeh, I dunno. I couldn't really see romance in such a show. I'm not the kind of guy who goes 'ew romance get it away', on the contrary romance is great. IF done properly anyway. The problem is it's shoehorned in so many times and it's done so cheesily you just can't take it seriously. And FiM isn't a very serious or dramatic show, so any romance added in would have to be taken very lightly.

I could easily see them handle romance the same way another kids show does though. If anyone here has seen Phineas and Ferb they should know of Isabella and Phineas or Candace and Jeremy. Having an unrequited crush is a great way to slip in some shipping but not have it be too serious. Because hey, we've all been in that situation and we can relate but it's not throwing LOOOOOVE in our face repeatedly. That's probably how I'd like to see romance in FiM.

Crappy cellphone cam is crappy. But that delectable looking sludge is what I made for supper last night. Just some basic tuna helper with green beans thrown in along with some garlic and various other spices for flavoring. Might not look like much but it sure tasted good.

She's in the scene with Discord showing Rainbow Dash Cloudsdale collapsing. It's a very 'blink and you'll miss it' scene and I'm not even sure if her eyes are derped or not. But you can tell it's her.

No, I had the same feeling as well. The world was grayer, less colorful, the archvillain was a bigger villain than nightmare moon, and did meaner tricks on the ponies.

I am really curious to see the little girls' reaction to this episode, if we ever find a way to know it, to be honest.

Watching the episode in HD, yeah the world's full of grey and brown and washed out colors. I don't have a problem with it really but hey, I'm not a little girl. XP

It's finally getting down into the 50s here. It's so nice. Unlike everyone else I absolutely love the chill. I'm the weird guy who walks outside wearing short-sleeved t-shirts without a sweater in Autumn. XP

Man, anybody who was previously booing Discord for not being dark or threatening (and trust me, they were) just hasn't seen the first episode yet. Seriously, this guy is amazing, way more of a threat than Nightmare Moon was. What did she do, turn the sky dark for a few hours? She was only dark after everyone OPed her in their grimdark fanfics. Then Discord comes in and in the span of ten minutes turns everyone into anti-versions of themselves that hate each other. Oh yeah, and the candy themed chaos thing going on. Which... well honestly that doesn't seem too bad and OH MY GOD SLENDER BUNNIES WHAT THE FUUUUU-

Eagerly awaiting a song next episode, either from Twilight (to bring her friends back together) or Discord (singing cheerfully about spreading destruction and chaos). It shall be amazing. Also Luna, while not making an appearance, at least gets mentioned. I am a happy brony.

I might be interested depending on which four ponies they are. Been trying to track down the McDonalds set (at a reasonable price) for awhile.

Jebediah Crockett looked outside of the window at the storm gloomily. He had big plans for selling his wares today, until the rains came at least. He watched half-heartedly as any pony caught out in the rain scrambled to seek shelter and hoped the skies would clear soon so he could go back to selling. Though, it wasn't like many ponies bought what he had to sell anyway. Jebediah was a traveling salespony who pushed and pulled his stand full of homemade fruitcakes across Equestria. He had just come into Ponyville today and frankly, hadn't had too much success yet. Still, he was hoping he could generate some word of mouth after more ponies bought his fruitcakes and told others how great they tasted.

A particularly large clap of thunder jolted him from his thoughts. Jebediah shook his head and positioned himself more comfortably at the table. The place, Honey's Sweet Honey, seemed fairly quiet. Probably because there wasn't many customers at the moment. It was warm and dry however, which Jebediah appreciated. Though he wasn't sure what to think of the bees that flew wherever they pleased. Thankfully there weren't too many and they didn't really seem to bother anypony. Jebediah waved one away and picked up a menu laying in front if him. "I really like the honey theme they have going on here," he thought to himself as he looked over the menu, "and the prices seem pretty reasonable too!" He licked his lips hungrily as he eyed everything they had for sale.

The door suddenly opened, letting in a gust of wind as two ponies stepped inside and quickly shut it behind them. Jebediah glanced at them from his menu and watched as one called out to the owner of the establishment. She seemed to be quite friendly and... sing-songy. The other one... was a knight? Jebediah blinked slowly at the surprising sight. He had never seen one of the Canterlot knights before. Though, she did seem a bit young to be a knight. He quickly went back to his menu as the owner came out of the kitchen.

"Oh my Celestia! Neon Pop! Y-you're back! I--- I'm so... so honored!! Oh! You're both soaked! Let me get you some towels!"

Jebediah scrunched an eyebrow in thought. "Neon Pop? Huh... must be a regular customer here." He shrugged before focusing on his menu. "So many good choices..."

I have been craving some sort of mashup between MLP and the X-Files theme since I joined this fandom. I'm still waiting.

Do some of these cartoons even still come on? I haven't seen American Dragon or Brandy and Mr. Whiskers anywhere in years I think.

Happy to see Cheerilee and the CMC are in the very fist episode! And those other classmates that I don't really care about.

I imagine he often gets some serious heartburn. Can't be too healthy to burp letters back and forth.

The only thing that would have tripped me up is the inclusion of a not yet approved area (Farming community of Haymaker), HOWEVER I think this little community, like many others that have been suggested, still fits in with the idea of Equestria and it's a big world!

Ah, well if it helps I have no plans at all to set any RPs in Haymaker. I more just wanted the character to come from a small town that no one had ever heard of that would be namedropped at most. Apologies if I stepped across any rules.

Looks like Pinkamena, but not quite her. It's just Pinkie with wet hair, like in episode 2 of Season 1.

Hopefully this marks the end of the "chocolate rain" pictures. I'd like to see other characters than the mane six as well.

Episode wise I'd like to see a holiday-themed episode of some sort. Preferably Christmas but something like Halloween could work too.

Given Discord's look and his attitude, I'm actually going to say he's not a 'born' character. I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe Celestia (and/or Luna) created Discord to help with duties around Equestria or something. THEN IT ALL WENT HORRIBLY WRONG. Discord didn't come out right, turned out to be bat-crap insane and manipulative (puppet master-y) so Celestia and Luna had to lock him away/turn in him into stone/something bad that would make him plot revenge.

And that's my origin theory!

It stands to consider this game the ponies are playing are for the Elements of Harmony. Discord's likely whisked them away to some place and the ponies have to do challenges to get to them. For instance, go through what looks to be a hedge maze.

I still really need to read Spiderses. When it comes to troll fics, I really kind of prefer the ones that do it by being bizarre and terrible to the ones who do it by being violent and disgusting like Cupcakes.

Spiderses is amazing. It's a really really really bad fanfic but it's bad on purpose. And yes, it's very bizarre and very random and weird. Absolutely hilarious. I'm thinking of actually doing a dramatic reading of it. Don't really know if I have the voice for it though...

But halofan, after you get through Cupcakes (if you ever get through Cupcakes) go read Spiderses. It'll cleanse ya kid.

It could be. But I've got another theory that these screens are from a different episode. Perhaps one centered around... the factories at Cloudsdale going berserk or something.
