  1. Kay. Well. Since this is technically an OOC thread. My characters name is Starlight Nocturnus Lunella. This young mare's name originates in similarity to that of Luna. I'll cut right to the chase and throw in a largely detailed backstory to her now: "On a seemingly normal day in the Everfree Forest, everything was calm. That was until Spark's mother went into labor. The Changeling mother's screams of pain could be heard in the nearby city of Ponyville. Spark's older sister Chrysalis was only a few years old at the time. The mare's screams continued for hours on end, as Fire put up quite the hell of a fight coming out. It seemed as if she refused to want to be born. As Fire eventually gave up the fite, she was born, completely different looking then the rest of the Changeling race. This later, would prove to be something important much later in life. However, this seemingly glourious occasion, would prove saddening, as Fire's mother had died from the birth process. Turns out, she was only able to have one foal without issue. So, Fire's father, who was actually a normal pony, was set with the task of taking care of both Chrysalis and Sparky. though once Sparky had grown a few months old, her father died in a rather vicious flying accident involving another Pegasi. This would mean that Chysalis would be forced to take the leading role in the family, taking care of Fire. She forced herself to become more mature, more responsable, and much more caring in order to provide for a newborn Sparky. Sadly, this proved inevitably impossible for a young Chrysalis. She was forced to leave Spark in front of the Ponyville Orphanage door under the cover of night, seemingly anonymously. A few years into the future, Spark being a young filly, wasn't much for speech. She actually was probably the most shy foal you'd ever meet, even worse then a particular yellow Pegasus. She refused to speak to anypony, keeping herself under her bed blankets as mucha s she could, only coming out to either use the bathroom, or to eat. This filly was never introduced to the concept of feeding off of ponies emotions, so she was always weak. This would cause her to get picked on by the older ponies there, even more then the fact that she was a Changeling. Once she was around the teenaged years, she had finally realised what she needed to be stronger. She eventually figured out the feeding spell Changelings used. She secretly fed off ponies emotions, making her stronger with each passing day. Eventaully she'd become so strong that she'd abandon her shyness entirely, and become the bully, instead of the bullied. She picked on every smaller pony for being weak, as deemed natural by her. Even the ponies that once picked on her were scared of Fire. Recently in her life, she'd been through family after family, being put back into the orphanage on a number of occasions. Once she had reached the age of 18, she left that place, never to return. She eventually had figured out the form changing spell, using it to make her look like a normal Pegasus. This form dawned her natural colors, of a red and black mane, along with a Crimson coat. As she grw a few months older, she decided to get a portion of her mane dyed, creating a bit of variety in her form. This variety was an orange stripe on the edge of her mane. After another year of living on the streets had passed, she finally decided it was time for a new start. She took what she had, which at the time was not much. She gathered up the bits for a one-way train ticket to the city of Royals. Canterlot. After she had arrived, she immediately went to the nearest Royal Gaurd recruitment center and applied. However, the recruitment process would be a lengthy one, considering she never recieved any education. At all. Though the difficulty of a inexistant education, she still became a Lunar Guard. This is where she found her passion, and excellent skill, for being a guardsmare. She quickly rose through the guard ranks, becoming a Seargent after only two years in the guard. This was surmassed both by her impressive skill, and her immense drive to overachieve. Within the next few months, she had already been promoted to Staff Seargent. This, is where life would take a rather drastic turn. Within a few days of her promotion, she went into a major depressive slump. Being only 20 years old, she had enver really found much of a purpose in life other then her current profession. She had realised, when she was around 15 years of age, that she wanted to eb a normal pony, so she wouldn't be picked on by anypony anymore. This depressive slump would last a couple years, spanning until she was 23. She had moved back to Ponyville to get over her slump, to no avail. That was, until a certain Lavender Princess came into her life. This was when Fire knew that she could become one of the ponies she's stuck around her entire life. Fire immediately got in contact with Twilight Sparkle, and they hit it off right then. It wasn't even a month before Fire had the gall to reveal her true form, asking Twilight for the impossible. Soemhow, Twilight had agreed to help Spark. This invigorated her. This revitalized her drive. She then moved back to Canterlot, not even a day later she ha gotten back to work with the Guard, as Twilight did her best to help the Crimson mare. It wasn't that long before Spark had gotten promoted into the officer ranks, even right on the day of her birthday. This, this was when things became amazing, and rather twisted all at the same time. Twilight had completed the spell. She had the spell to make Fire a permanent pony, no longer that of the Changeling race. However, this spell would have a nasty side-effect. As soon as the spell was cast onto the mare, everything went white. As the sudden flash cleared, there was no sight of Fire. At least, from a higher up standpoint. The spell had turned her into a filly again. But not only that, it turned her into an Alicorn! Fire couldn't beleive it. However, even though Twilight insisted on fixing Fire, the now filly refused. She realised that this was the chance she would take. She had been given the opportunity to re-live her life, the way it was meant to be lived. However, she would end up right back into the palce she hated, the orphanage. But, she vowed to change that past experience. She wanted out as soon as possible. She actually snuck out one night, into the castle she used to live inside day-to-day. She then found herself face-first with the Princess of the Night herself. She took the young Alicorn in. She took her in and showed her kindness, something she wasn't very used to. She...she liked it. The young filly knew she had to go back, but she didn't want to. She had asked Luna to adopt her, and she agreed. She now lives with the Lunar Princess, in true tranquility and something she thought she'd never exerience. Happiness. However, as time would pass she would come to realise that she'd be like this forever. She eventually told her new adoptive mother to erase her memory. Erase her past. Truly give her a new life. And she did. Fire now lives happily, with no memory or her previous life. However, she does have faint flashbacks of her past. They sadly, do not have any meaning to this young filly. She doesn't, nor does she choose to understand them. She only wants to live in peace and harmony. And that, she is. Recently, her adoptive mother and Fire decided it was best to change the filly's colors, along with her name. According to Fire, she was getting picked on by other children her age. So, she now goes under the name of Starlight, and looks like a completely different pony. As she grew older and older, she slowly started to drip into madness. It started as simple confusion as to why Celestia rules the sun, even though it is technically a star. However, over time, it would grow into jealousy, and then finally, complete insanity. She is now an emotional wreck, and doesn't say anything other then basic greetings and mumbling about the sun belonging to her and not Celestia. She also believe that Nightmare Moon is still alive, and is always by her side, as if an imaginary friend. Eventually, after a few months passed, she had finally recieved help. She now lives as before, a happy life. She recently met a blind mare named Azula, and it was essentailly love at first sight(Yes, she likes mares. Deal.)." Whelp. That seems sufficient, yes? Now onto RP specifics. Firstly, I tend to be a Narrative RP'er, meaning my replies will dragon on 2+ Paragraphs per response. Due to this being a forum RP site, my posts WILL be 2 Paragraphs+. Secondly, Narrative also has the side of using 3rd person RP, meaning I will be using " " unless in OOC, or a joke RP. Thirdly, and MOST IMPORTANT, I do not take kindly to people saying she's OverPowered(OP). She is NOT OP. The most she can do is your basic Unicorn spells, and some others from her studies at the Canterlot School for Gifted Unicorns, since she is one day destined to raise the stars along with Luna's moon. Those people will immediately ignored, and their posts deleted. Don't say I didn't warn you. Fourth, I'd prefer to RP with people that have correct grammar, in a sense. I'm fine with no capitalizing, as long as there's correct grammar. Last, but DEFINATELY not least, I really don't prefer people that use asterisks ( * ) in their RP's. I don't know why, but it just REALLY urks me. Don't call me something mean because of this, they are just my preferences. If there are an abundunce of these types of RP'ers, I'll open my standards up. Whelp, that seems to be just about it. Sorry if this post dragged on~!
