  1. You're now a super villain, what do you do? What are you powers and what are your plans?

    for me...

Option 1: hire a bunch of goons in super suits to break into banks, businesses, etc (Any place that has lots of money but have plotholes running it who don't deserve it) clear out the trouble (non-lethal), walk in behind them like a classy mutha in my three piece suit and walking cane (With hidden stun gun), and make my demands to the person in charge, take their money and return it to the less fortunate (Robin Hood and my merry men essentially)

Removed option 2 cause i feel bad now...

I'm not much for destroying the world or enslaving everyone... i just want to make things better with shifty practices, is that too much to ask?

  2. So, i was watching Futurama and saw the episode with the Harlem Globetrotters... And i couldn't help but think 'Why has no one made a huge joke about the globetrotters with ponies yet?" I mean, TROTTERS is in the freaking name... Why has it not been done? Not to mention their names are pretty pony-ish anyway... Bubblegum Tate for example...

So what other pony puns and jokes could be made that havent really been done yet?

  3. Cross your hands in front of you, not just use the mouse with your off hand but physically cross your hands in front of you so you are slightly restricted and using the wrong hands.

I don't use a controller enough to suggest a comparable idea for that, though if anyone has a suggestion...

Uh, wow, that actually sounds pretty difficult... I'll have to try that some time...

Beat a pokemon game without having any of your party pokemon faint. AT ALL. This is even more challenging in B&W2, when you play on challenge mode.

They actually have a thing where they have a set of 'rules' to follow to make it really hard... if your pokemon faints (besides th first battle) you can never use that pokemon again and You can only capture one of each pokemon.... never tried it, never will.

  4. I would not be surprised if there was a huge brony presence at Dragon*Con. I've been there several times, and there is room for multiple sub-fandoms to have their own space.

Just found out tickets are $30 for monday, and $50 for saturday... I'm saving up for a computer... i might be able to make Anime weekend, but other than that, i got nothing for the rest of the year

  5. So i'm trying to think of a new spam stable game... i got a basic idea rolling, but i need help fine tuning it...

EDIT: This is what i got so far if you want the less talkative version of it...

    Trading game

A number of COINS and GEMS will be distributed amongst the players through a private message. The goal is to trade both coins and gems amongst yourselves in order to get the most of each.

The coins and gems in play are different, but together they are worth the same. So if there’s 10 coins and 50 gems in play, that means that each coin is worth 5 gems.

Every round the player with the least value in their pocket will be eliminated. And the game will begin with a new set of coins and gems…

Every round, a random player will be given a fake currency, replicating either gems or coins. These are worth nothing to the player, and will be deducted from their wallet. If a player trades away a fake currency, they must inform the player through a private message so that they know of their fake money.

Each player can only request a trade 3 times, but they can accept as many trades as they want. A request includes:

~Direct contact “Hey john, I want to trade with you” and “John I’ll trade you X coins for X gems”

When making a direct contact trade, this will count as one request. You can continue haggling with the person (including changing how many and what type of currency) until an agreement is made, but once it is either accepted or denied, the turn is over.

~ Indirect contact: “I have 10 coins I’m willing to trade, how many gems will someone give me?” “I have a gem I don’t need, can someone give me 100 coins for it?” (You can deny anyone who you don’t want to trade with as many times as you want, but as soon as you change your demands or you come to an agreement with someone that counts as a turn.

When making indirect contact, you have to stick with what you’re asking for. If someone offers you a price that you don’t like, you can turn them away. You can turn away as many people until you’re satisfied, but once you change what you want to trade and how much, that counts as a turn.

You can have multiple requests going at once, and you can accept or make an offer on as many trades as you’d like.

And now here are my random concerns about the game.... a lot of repeated stuff... so be warned...

So everyone would be given X number of coins or tokens, and during so, everyone trades coins to other players in an attempt to get the most coin at the end of the round. whoever has the least is eliminated...

So here are some things i'm thinking of to go with this...

1: No one know how muich the coin are worth... one player may only start with ten, while another starts off with 1000, so if player B give A 100 coins, than player A would then know that the other guy has a lot of coins, and that they're not worth much individually...

At the same time... player C could have 2000 coins and give B only 10 coins, therefore making player B think that they have a lot of coins, and so he might not bother asking for as many coins because he thinks he's already winning...

It could be possible to deny giving someone coins for whatever reason, or to ask for ridiculously high amounts to throw the other players off.

2: To avoid people just hoarding their coins, i think we should have 2 separate currencies, both with differing values... Let's say there are 5000 coins being moved around, but only 20 tokens. So trading them around with the coins as well would make decisions tougher... 'Is trading 100 coins for one token worth it? Well i dont have ANY token, so... maybe i should..."

3: I think there should be a single player in the game each round who has some sort of advantage or something... maybe he's been given 100 fake coins to play with... but that would be hard to keep track of since the person receiving it wouldnt know... unleeesss after the trade the person tells them, and then they need to try to find a way to get rid of those fake coins before the end of the game, since, at the end they would be worthless...

So after a trade using a fake currency, the person tells them "Hey, i just gave you 100 fake coins." So the other player would want to get rid of them and get some REAL currency before the game ends...

4: should the trades be public? i think it would be easier to keep track of the trades, but people would quickly realize how much money is at play... although that might not be a BAD thing. that one guy at the beginning who trades too much and then realizes he just made a bad trade would be out of luck... although any fake trades would be notified in the PMs i think...

5: how long shoudl a round last? A day? A certain number of pages? should each person be allowed to only make a certain number of trade requests? This one is a tough one...

So that's my thought process so far... Any comments? suggestions? I think i have a good thing going here... i just need to shorten the ideas into a simple to understand format...

  6. My definition would revolve around this concept, although i havent gotten the wording down quite right...

A adult who enjoys my little pony friendship is magic, who is a kind, cat0ring and open minded individual, who can recognize and appreciate creativity and excellence imaginative thinking regardless of preconcieved notions.

Basically saying a fan od fim, who can tell when something is good, quality entertainment and doesnt simply judge something negativly before actually givng it a chance. But they also have to be a good person... i wouldnt call a person who yells at haters with profanity a brony... because thats not what we're about...

  7. This. I completely sympathize with you here, as I'd be lying if I didn't think the exact same thing. Being forgotten is truly an awful thing, isn't it?

I used to be scared of both of those things.

I no longer take value in what others think of me though. I still want to have an impact on the world, but I think I am doing that. It is not important that I be remembered in this life.

Also, I am happily and comfortable single, though it took a lot of anguish to get to that point, and I am certainly keeping my eyes open...

I just feel that if no one remembers me, and if i didn't have an impact on anyones life, was my life truly worth living? would anyone's life be different if i weren't around? Much of the time i dont think it would...

As for the love, It really means a lot to me... I was deeply in love with someone not too long ago. holding her, comforting her, making her feel safe and secure... making her feel good was what made ME feel good... it gave me purpose and made me feel like i was having an impact on her in a good way... but alas, it didn't last forever... and now i'm back to feeling like i'm worthless... so yeah :\

  8. That reminds me, I remember reading somewhere (cannot remember where) a person had hypothesized she really was an evil enchantress. Though maybe not one who did evil dances. Anyway, imagine what a plot twist that would be! :!:

That would be pretty surprising, but probably more of a plot twist than they woudl try... but what would become of her afterwards? She's too big of a star now to suddenly go rogue and be defeated...

  9. Well, I would think that the Everfree must have something that could pose as a worthwhile villain in it. After all, things just don't get that spooky. Think about it: if Discord being trapped in stone had no effects on the garden he was trapped in, just imagine what would have to be so terrifying that it could posses the entirety of a remarkably large forest to be as dangerous as Ponyville makes it out to be.

Of course, assuming said force is trapped in the Everfree...

the phrase 'biding time' comes to mind with this... and it DOES seem spooky...

"Oh look, a couple of ponies are heading for the castle of the ancient pony sisters..."

    "Yes... it seems so..."

    "Shall we toy with them?"

"mm... not now... i feel they will be of much use to us in the future..."

Although, it begs the question as to how Zecora can live in there with this creature(s)... perhaps she's really a SPY????.... nah...

  10. Cat-centaurs!

    Or maybe not.

    Zombie Ponies!

    Strike two.

    Are the timberwolves sentient?

    Cat centaurs... maybeh...

I would love to see some zombie ponies actually... probably would end up being a stomach virus.. but still! I would absolutely loooove it,hehe

as for the wolves... i can only assume so... no less than regular wolves... but i can't see them plotting for world domination

    although....

  11. So, we've all made speculations on future episodes and plot ideas... but i'm wondering what you all think about the next BIG villain. Who are they? what will they do? what is their goal? What will make a great new villain for our heroes to face?

My thoughts: 1, dragon leader. There's obviously a LOT of dragons, and they apparently have some sort of civilized society (they migrate together and have games and whatnot, so i can only assume the have some sort of agreement as a species to work together for the betterment of one another) So they must have a leader of sorts to turn to when things get too big for them to resolve on a small scale...

My thought is that with Celestia and Luna controlling the sun and the moon, the dragon leader will think they have too much power and try to get it from them so he can control the night and day... he might be more diplomatic about it, but greed will take him over the edge...

and 2: Celestia's assistant. Celestia has a lot of work i'm sure, so to help regulate it, she probably has some sort of helper. now, this helper comes to thinking that she's not doing things right, and for the betterment of Equestria, takes power (cause of some law saying 'if it is believed that the princess cannot rule properly, the assistant takes over) so he does, starts making decisions that seem to work well... buuut then he makes a decision that jeopardizes the harmony of the land, and everyone tries to stop him...

So, wht do you think of my ideas? what are some of YOUR villain ideas? (preferably original ones =3 Yes, we ALL want to see Trixie, Discord, and the changelings again XP) And who on earth is that new villain already spoiler'd for season 3? (speculation only please... i dont want any ACTUAL spoilers)

  12. Well, i'm sure there are plenty of episodes that COULD be related to that lesson. i'd say Lesson Zero could be related to that... they should have empathized with her troubles rather than blowing them off...

Just because they don't say 'This is the lesson' at the end of the show doesn't mean it hasnt been hinted at... you can gain knowledge on multiple ways to be a better person from one show... Many episodes have multiple lessons and many lessons are repeated... "Dont bite off more than you can chew" And "dont judge a book by it's cover" are done a couple of times from what i've noticed, even though they're only blatantly stated once each...

as for your idea, it could be good... but again, i think the 'lesson' would end up being more about 'dont judge a book by it's cover' rather than being empathetic... perhaps they could do the whole 'switch lives' thing where two ponies with different responsibilities switch because they think the other's life is easy... and they find out it's not... so they end up empathizing with one another.

  13. I'd say i'm scared that i'll never have an impact on the world... i'll die and then i'll never be remembered... it's not that i want to be in the history books or anything, but Edd Gould at least made an impact and is still remembered by those who loved his work...

I'm also scared of never finding love... i don't want to be alone... i want someone to be with me...

and then theres the generic darkness, heights, bugs snakes, etc..

  14. That depends.

Are they attempting realistic humans? Yeah. That would be weird.

If they are bipedal and have hands with fingers, but still have pony ears/wings/horns/snouts then the blue/purple/orange skin can work.

Yeah, i'm talking about perfectly anatomically correct humans with blue skin and wings... Very strange...

This is the downtown P Train. The next stop is Anthro Junction. Stand clear of the closing doors please. *bing bong*

Yeah, this i can dig. Very Adorable and-... wait, this isn't 18+ forum, is it?... No, okay, that's all i have to say, Adorable, yep...

  15. Hmmmm, griffins are 'French' so Applebloom was speaking in (fancy) griffin? Which leads to ideas of having 'upper class' french/griffin (similar to 'upper class' way the snooty Canterlot ponies spoke).

Which leads to....... 'French/griffin haute couture please' Fluttershy! How could you?

Yes, I know, twisty turny mind and all....

Eh, it makes sense... Griffons have a four legged body (more or less) like a pony, so they may have similar style as each other with different flavors, Griffons may have their own sense of style due to their culture, and ponies adopted it as a fashion statement...

Is there a "wrong" skin color for any of the ponies? Some colors might be surprising on the ponies that are already very light or dark colored, but with the right color clothes you could make anything look good.

I see Applejack as white because she has freckles, and those are only visible on fair skinned people.

Most art stays safely on the left side of the valley. I'm not seen anything realistic enough to be weird, but I also don't track down those kinds of pics.

True, if i saw a black fluttershy, it may not really match what i would percieve, but i wouldn't call it 'wrong' persay... to each his own...

As for weird looks... I hate it when they make them look like regular humans but with blue and purple skin... it looks REALLY weird...

Eh, I wouldn't jump the gun on Griffins having a mostly French-based society. Gustav the Chef most likely cultivated his own French accent to give himself more 'kitchen-cred', just like how Rarity develops her posh accent.

Hm, could be true... It would make sense... but he still keeps it up even after trying to be all dramatic about how amazing he is. but it could be possible...
