  1. I think Tumblr is the best social networking site there is. It's really all just about what you want and nothing else. No superfluous posts, updates, comments, etc.

It's just about what you think.

That may work for some and not for others, but I think it's amazing. Plus some of the people on there are some of the best people I've ever come in contact with.

  2. My two younger brothers and I regularly quote MLP at each other. My middle brother has a Derpy shirt, my youngest brother is nicknamed Applejack in his section in marching band (and before competitions, the low brass passes around a Celestia figure and presses her button for luck), and what's more is I discovered MLP independently from them. I was posting about it on Facebook and my brothers welcomed me to the herd. There was brohoofing.

I converted one of my roommates, too. She bought me a Fluttershy when I was having a horrible day, and I gave her that little crystal Pinkie Pie keychain.

Then she got me this for my birthday:

Best roommate ever? I think yes.

    OMG, that's amazing.

Best room mate ever for sure!

  3. why did i skip this message totally?

no, he was a pilot on the local Argentinian touring series. There was a serious uproar regarding safety measures there as well (extending to all south american countries also)

Well, hopefully more tragedies can be prevented.

It's still been way too many.

  4. This year I'm probably going to spend it either close with family and friends around a table eating a freshly-made ham leg or perhaps some sort of ethnic dish that I can't ever begin to describe. Or I will spend it alone in my room counting the seconds until I move away and things will be better. sigh.

  5. Pretty good for free verse, you did have a couple rhymes but not really much meter.

As far as the poem itself, it's not entirely emo. You do have elements that foreshadow that something could be better, but you have learned to live in this situation. "You cherish the night" That can be either through acceptance or literal cherish.

The second stanza really speaks to me, because it seems like the argument for "ignorance is bliss"

It's like, if you look at the light for a little while (know a little), you'll be better off and feel better than looking for too long (know a lot), which would ruin you, much like certain knowledge.

Overall, I like it. Good job!
