  1. Dark outlines might work, or you could go the other direction and not use dark lines at all and go for a level of simplicity.

That made it look like a giant blob, actually. That was my original plan.

I will do darker outlines if I ever get more money and can afford the paint, but otherwise I'm trying to find a good balance between totally outlined and weird blob shape.

  2. It might benefit from darkening the outline to give it some contrast -- I would use a darker pink for outlining her mane and tail, and a darker-shaded yellow for her body and for outlining her ear, body, face, and hooves. The bunny could be outlined with a light gray. Also try putting a little circle of white in her eyes or two to give them some reflectivity and depth.

The problem with that is that the darker shades aren't available to me. I have a limited budget and can't always find the right paint colors at my local craft store. It took a while just to find these colors.

I do agree about adding the spot of white on the pupil, I'll try that.

  3. I made this for a friend.

I got the image from one of the Dollar Tree coloring books.

I'm planning on making a Rainbow Dash one for myself, and I'm considering selling them if there's any interest, but right now it's just for fun.

I'm open to any critiques if anyone has something to say. I'm not a great artist, but this was fun to do.

  4. Definitely need more accurate toys.

I like the idea of collector's edition toys for adults too, especially of some of the background ponies.

I don't think the show should change at all, because then it wouldn't be what we love. If they pander to us too much, it will be obvious and kind of terrible. Little jokes and shout outs in the background like they do now are fine, but having more adult humor just wouldn't work at all.

  5. how many of you guys count your nuggets? I usually get N+1 or better. I find it thought provoking.

We're supposed to count them every time, but in a rush we just shove them in the box and hope that it's about right. The scoop holds 4-5 nuggets, so we use that to estimate.

  6. My main source of income right now is McDonald's.

True story: A guy asked me how many nuggets are in the 10-piece. He believed me when I said nine.

But I also work as a freelance content writer for a couple of websites. That's a cool job, because I set my own pace and don't have to leave my house to do it.

  7. I have a severe fear of bees.

If I see one, I usually do go into a full-blown panic attack. Shaking, crying, hyperventilating, all that. I just cannot handle it.

Even seeing pictures of them, even cartoon bees, I feel shaky and uneasy.

It's so bad that during summer months, I'll avoid going outside to avoid the bees.

I've actually had a bit of therapy about this, but the fear will not go away.

  8. I'd like to see an episode where maybe something goes missing from Twilight's library, the Mane 6 each tell their own version of what happened.

It's kind of a cliche plot, but I love seeing it for some reason. It could be good.

Rarity's version would probably be like an old Hollywood movie with her as the star.

Pinkie Pie would see everything in bright colors with random candy everywhere and her view of the events would be very strange but accurate in a way that doesn't make sense to everyone right away.

Rainbow Dash would be like an action movie or a comic book.

Applejack's would be sepia-toned and look like an old Western, complete with the standard musical themes and she rides off into the sunset.

and Spike would have seen what happened and keep trying to tell his story but gets interrupted by the others. He'd probably have a film noir style.
