A theory I came across recently that made sense was that a pony's 'breed/species' was passed on by the mother. So no matter what/who you had for a father, if you were Earth/Unicorn/Pegasus/Whatever was due entirely to what your mother was. This would make sense since Equestria seems to be a little female-dominant in culture and THAT could have sprung out of a biological reason.

I think it's more fun to leave it maybe mildly hinted at but never acted on. That leaves more room for fan speculation which, in terms of 'shipping, is usually more satisfying than when an 'actual relationship' comes through on a show.

... You can probably guess what I want to do with it.

I recently moved and I donated my very old scanner to my dad so he could use it for uploading old family pictures digitally. Now that I'm all comfy in my new place I think it's time for myself to get a new one. Can someone recommend a brand or two for me? I would primarily use it for scanning black and white sketches and text so I'm not looking for something especially expensive and top of the line.

My brain is exploding with memories! Man, Darkwing Duck, Bill Nye, classic Rugrats, Wishbone were such staples in my childhood. I even feel like I watched Chalk Zone though I can't recall actually watching it. There is one major favourite from my kid years I don't see here so without further delay...

I'm fairly new to the world of MLP:FiM but I love what I've seen so far and I figure joining the forum here to chat with other fans will just amp up my enjoyment. Especially since season 2 has now arrived!

I used to be a huge 'My Little Pony' fan when I was a little girl! Even had a pony-themed seventh birthday (a LONG time ago). Though my enthusiasm for it faded back then it just goes to show good things never really go away - they just hibernate!
