Why was he on the floor?...Daniel tried to remember what had happened, but did not prevail. He could barely even remember where he lived! He looked around at his surroundings, identifying the ruins around him as an ancient Prussian castle. He took note of a pink liquid on the floor, and followed the trail it left.
