Melanoma

The title seems like enough of an introduction so let's get to the meat of things, shall we? Before Melanoma turned into my new ponysona (more or less), the gender was originally female and she was supposed to be evil. She aspired to wealth and power and the way towards that was through becoming a cult leader. Supposedly, she would know how to speak to ponies and choose her words, her tone and even her appearance to get ponies to do what she wants, get them to think what she wants and even get the to feel what she wants. She is a narcissist to her very core and cares nothing about the consequences her actions have on other ponies as she sees them as nothing but machines. So what happened to this concept? Plainly put, I simply couldn't pull this off. Turns out I'm no good in RPing as a narcissist. Even in fiction, I need to justify cruelty. If I can't justify it, it's just going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Given that, the concept got scrapped so Melanoma was made into a male OC and pretty much a blank slate. Other than the appearance (his spotted carapace is what got him the name), I have nothing figured out: no backstory, no place of residence, how he stays safe, lifestyle, etc. But maybe I can get a few ideas from doing impromptu RPs which could eventually flower into something fitting. So yeah, this is pretty much where I am in regards to this OC and what I might be doing with him.
