My favourite main cast pony/s: AppleJack,Fluttershy,Miss Rarity,Rainbow Dash,Twilight Sparkle,Pinkamina Diane Pie Hello all just thought I'd intro myself and tell you about my OC pony Starry Night. Name: Starry Night Gender: male Race: Unicorn Age: born in Lunar year 976 (currently age 27 in Equestria) Special talent: magic that brings all forms of light and the study of all things pertaining to light. (he can actually form light based constructs similar to the Green Lantern's powers except they are not complicated) Residence: Canterlot Occupation: Canterlot research and magical development looks: past time: Currently he spends his time learning his families magic and studies the ancient scrolls in the royal Canterlot library. He spends the weekends with his parents, practices his magic in the magic school, and lives in the old study of the local university. He rarely speaks or will see anyone outside of his family and avoids those that made fun of him when he was young. He currently is researching Star-swirl the Bearded's magic studies. Known Relatives: Constellation (father), Wind Dancer (mother), Twilight Sparkle (cousin), Nightlight (uncle), Twilight Star (aunt), Moonlight Paradise (cousin), Shining Night (cousin) cutie mark: an 8 point star surrounded by a sky that's driving away darkness in a swirling motion. bio: Starry Night a unicorn that was eager to make friends but was never good at it since his family, the star family (which includes Twilight Sparkle, his 2nd cousin), was considered the "weirdos" of Canterlot. They were never into the social scene and was dedicated to nothing but magic and all things supernatural. When young Starry Night worked up the courage to finally approach the most popular yerling in Canterlot and asked to be his friend he was made fun of and rejected all of the young ponies started hazing and calling him names making fun of his family. Starry Night rushed away crying feeling like he no longer belonged in Equestria, so he ran away leaving behind his family which he never wanted to be associated with again by running into the darkest part of Equestria where no light could reach. Realizing that he was gone, his father Constilation cast a search spell to look for him. The spell was no match for the darkness and could not locate the youngster. The star family was sent out to find him looking all over and using whatever magic they could to try and find him. While tying to find Starry several members wandered around in the darkness, several of them had gotten so lost in the darkness they themselves were in danger of never finding their way back again. They decided to use a magic spell to link their horns by magic so they could find their way back out, only young Twilight wasn't skilled enough to connect her magic to the other and was lost. She was frightened and started to cry fearing that she would never see her family again. Hearing her crying Starry Night lost his self pitty and wanted to save her, but the darkness kept him from locating her. Mustering all his concentration he used his horn to make a magic spell to light the area using thousands of lights that looked like the whole sky was full of stars. It worked making all the darkness vanish, letting both of them be found by the star family when he saw how much his family missed him and tried so hard to find him he knew he wasn't alone and his cuttie mark appeared. Likes: family, reading, magic disslikes: large crowds, public speaking, confrontation Personality: He's an intellectual he would rather spend his time studying, experimenting in his lab, or inventing than social activities. He has a secret crush on Princess Luna. He's only shy to strangers because of his insecurity about being in the spotlight and being made fun of, once you know him he is a gentlepony and rather talkitive he loves to explain everything in detail. Favorite Food: Sour Apples Favorite Season: Fall Favorite Passtime: Star gazing Twilight Sparkle has more magical ability than Starry Night but Starry Night is more intellegent he does not have to do things by reading books he has experiemented and researched most magic and knows how to use it better. Twilight's raw ability is still more potent, Starry however has never used most of his magic in a real life scenario.
