Killjoy's ship was now just now 100 yards away from the small fleet.Killjoy put down her telescope "give them a warning shot and when I say warning shot, I actually mean unload our broadside into those b@stards so they know we aren't messing around!" she barks as all 20 guns on the broadside fire onto the three ships. The volley of shells going down on the ships cause a good amount of damage as one lit on fire when one shell hit their fuel reserves.

"Well well." He said with a grin, then got a serious look on his face just a second later. Alright, change in plans! I'm going to wake up the crew, you two make sure that we get heading in that direction. I want us to be a part of that fight if there's a fellow Crusader in it. Let's move!" And with that, both Wind and Valor got up and dashed down the hallway. Valor flapped his wings, and in a flash of a golden streak, he was already top side and right at the wheel, waiting for Star to get up here now. He was good at helping, but he had no idea where to turn the wheel.

As Killjoy continued to attack the three ships, they were trying their best to get turned and fight back, but the damages that were being delt was great, and they were losing. Just then, a massive cannon ball shot from underneath the clouds, making a hole in the clouds and nearly hitting the Ursa Major, just clipping and breaking a sail at the tip into many splinters. Just as the cannonball hit, the sky itself began to shake as something massive rose from underneath the clouds, coming between the cargo snip and the Ursa; the S.S. New Manhattan "Mary". On the top, over to the edge of the ship stood the captain, Stormride, staring down at the filly on the other ship. "Board the ship... I want her captured alive." He said in a deep voice as harpoons began to fire, hitting the sides of the Ursa and reeling it towards the massive ship. The Ursa was a giant towards normal ships, but compared to the Mary, it was just like any other ship; a bug.

Killjoy stared up into the massive ship "well this complicates things a bit..." she said then looking at her commander "Thunderstrum, get you troops to start cutting the ropes...we are not losing this ship!" Thunderstrum yelled out "Aye captain" then ordered his troops to start cutting the ropes, the ponies came out from the hull with axes and went to work on the ropes. "as for he gunners, I am going to get our ship ascending and once we are next to that ship, shoot out their harpoons...we Don't stand a chance against that ship so we won't be staying near that beast long, make those shots count!" she yelled to the Gun Instructor "Aye Captain" yelled Firestorm as he went down below deck. Blast Beat started ascending the ship.

"Im going to see what's going on. Stay here Valor. " Star took off and flew as fast add she could toward the noise. In a few minutes she could see the ships "Oh great..." she said drawing close enough to see the name of the huge ship. Why did her sister have to be here?

Arrow was ALMOST to busy to notice Star. Almost. "Hello sister. You still the navigator of that story excuse for a ship?"

"Hello. And no because the only sorry ships here are yours and the other sky patrol ships here. I'll hurt you later. " Star said flying back to the ship

The Ursa major was now right besides the harpoon guns. "fire!" Killjoy yelled and the port guns fired and destroyed the harpoon guns. Blast Beat turned the ship tightly as she descended the ship. The Ursa Major was now below the Manehatten. Killjoy closed her eyes and stayed silent for a second and then spoke "We are going under, close to earth!" Blast Beast paused with a look of shock on her face and studdered "A-aye captain...going under." and just like that, Her ship was under the lower clouds.

Wind and many of the crew members finally came top side, the crew going to their stations while Wind went towards the bow of the ship, looking forward and seeing the unmistakable colossus of a ship that was commanded by none other than his brother; StormRide. This fact was confirmed when Star come flying back to the ship, saying that the Mary was attacking another ship. Wind got out his telescope and looked threw it, seeing the Ursa Major just before it flew down beneath the clouds. "Huh, what's Killjoy doing here, and why are they fighting? I thought they were on the same team or something like that. Curious." He said to himself, remembering the captain of the ship and their last encounter. He did wonder how she was, but he knew to keep his distance, though at this this time he was going to see what's going on here. "Star, Valor, go below the clouds and chase after the Ursa!" He said with a grin. Valor Dash gave a nod, looking at Star without saying a word, then took the wheel. "Let me know if I'm off course, Star." He said with a straight, unchanging voice.

As the Ursa got free and quickly moved under the Mary, one of the crew members came up to StormRide cautiously. "Sir, they got away. Should we go after them?" He said, expecting some kind of backlash of any kind due to the last ship he was on, but was very surprised and a bit relived when the captain didn't yell at him, yet when StormRide did speak it was like cold metal blades cutting through the colt's mind. "No... we have a new target." He said as he took out his telescope and looked straight forward at another ship that was closing in on them, and saw his brother on the bow. His eyes narrowed when he realized what ship it was; the Angel Wings. "Fire. Destroy the ship, but capture the captain... and the navigator." He said to the cannoneer that was with him, then looked at Arrow as he mentioned her sister. The crew member saluted and hurried back to inform the general so that every other cannoneer will get the orders as well. Seconds later, a loud 'Fire!' could be heard, then followed by cannon after cannon firing off from the side of the ship, the cannonballs whistling through the air as a whole volley came towards the Angel Wings.

Wind knew that this would be his brother's answer upon seeing him, but thought this was a bit excessive. "Alright you two, I wanted us down yesterday!" He said with a bit of urgency in his voice, knowing the damage and lost they would receive if they stayed in this spot any longer. Valor looked up at the cannonballs that were beginning to rain down upon them, then looked forward. "Hold on everypony!" He said as he reached for the engine throttle and pushed it all the way up; a secret mechanism that made the speed of the ship triple from a normal ship. The engines roared to life as jet flames burst out of them. They began to quickly descend and avoid most of the cannonballs, but some still got the ship, making a few holes and breaking off some of the sides. It wouldn't be major, but the cannonballs fired out of the Mary were two times the size of regular cannonballs, making such holes that anypony could easy fall threw and threw the ship right now if they weren't careful. As they descended even further, Valor looked over the wheel, seeing nothing but clouds at first, but that soon cleared up and he saw something that was all new to him; the ground, the Earth. "Whoa. Is that what the Earth really looks like?" He asked Sky as they continued to move forward towards the Ursa Major.

The crew cheered after realizing they are safe. Killjoy looked to the stern and saw a smaller shipe catching up, she pulls out her telescope and sees that it is a crusader ship. "turn starboard Blast Beat" she said, Blast Beat then answeres "Aye" as the ship's starboard side now points in the direction the ship is coming from. Killjoy looked on and waited to see what was going to happen.

The Angel Wing trailed behind the Ursa Major, moving to the side so that they wouldn't collide. Once they got close enough, Valor pulled the throttle down, slowing the ship down and turning the wheel till they where facing the same direction as the Ursa. Just as they got side by side, Valor made sure to get everything in set to make sure they were completely stopped, but ready to run of the Mary came down as well, which he feared they would at some point, but it wasn't going to be any time soon since the ship was a massive floating fortress in it's own rights, and with that fact came another fact that it couldn't turn, rise or lower very easily. Wind waited till their sides were practically touching before he hopped onto the railing, then jumped across from one ship to the other. Fortunately since he was an Earth pony, his legs were very strong and had a good bit of energy to them, so he easily made the jump and landed on the deck of the Ursa Major, seeing all the crew members who instantly tensed up and were looking ready to attack upon Killjoy's command. Even so, Wind grinned at all of them and walked forward to the captain. "We meet again Killjoy. What was that about up there, huh? You and my brother having a bit of a fallout?" He said to her, his grin spreading to a smile now.

Arrow grimaced. probably the closest she could come to a smile when she heard this.

Star had helped Valor lower the ship. when they pulled up beside the Ursa Star was on the edge looking at Earth. "wow. solid ground. something that you dont have to be worried about falling apart all the time..... i like ships better."

Killjoy answered Wind's question, "me and the Sky Patrol had some disagreements, so I deserted them...What just happened however, was a cargo grab gone wrong, if that d@mn fortress didn't interfere...we would be feasting like kings right now and celebrating, but now...all we get were holes in the ship."

((Yeah, the bigger the ship, the harder it is to both damage/destroy and maneuver. But don't worry...))

Wind tilted his head some curiously at what she said. "Really? So does that mean that you're apart of the Crusaders? Huh, working with an old enemy; food for thought." He said with a smile.

Meanwhile, Valor stayed at the wheel, ready to take flight again if necessary once the captain was on board again. He looked up at the clouds above them and began to wonder. 'How odd, had they forgotten about us already?' He thought, then shrugged his shoulders and looked forward again. "If they haven't tried to kill him just yet, then that's probably a good sign, either that or the captain is trying to make some kind of deal with them." He said out loud. That would be something that the captain would do, anything to keep them out of danger, even if it didn't always work.

Wind began to pace back and forth, not looking at Killjoy anymore. "So, you want to make some coin and get some supplies easily, I suppose. Well obviously that cargo ship is strictly off limits now, but perhaps I can... share." As he said that, he stopped and looked at Killjoy again. "Alright, look. My crew and I had plans as to go to this small abandon island, and intell suggest that there some left over supplies there that are high priced in the market. If you want to make some easy coin, then come help us retrieve as much as we can carry." He said and moved closer to her till they were mere inches away. "This is my offer to you, take it or leave it." He said and gave a genuine smile as he extended his hoof out to have her shake it if she agreed to this.

Valor shook his head towards her comment. "I don't know, the Captain is pretty good when it comes to these kinds of situations." He said back. He was unsure of what was being said, but it didn't matter. This was Wind's element; smooth talking.

Killjoy thought for a minute then shook Wind's hoof and looked at Star "after the last time we met in battle...I don't think he would want to cross me..." she said looking back to Wind "now how about you tell me what these supplies are" she said, letting go of his hoof "If we do find these valuables...We will share it 50/50, My crew needs some profit since we just lost ours a moment ago. My cannons are ready for any enemy, we will follow you as an escort only...you retrieve the supplies and we will make sure nothing attacks." she said sternly "that is all..." she then turns around and walks into her quarters.

"Well, I suppose that's the best that I'm going to get." He said with a grin as he turn and started walking back to the edge so that he could jump back onto his ship. "Oh, by the way! My brother has good timing for ruining things, and I suppose he would be here right about... now." Just as soon as he said that, the sky began to rumble again as the sounds of gears spinning and flames bursting filled the air as the clouds above them began to bow, then split apart as the Mary slowly descended from a couple of meters away from them. Wind grinned as he hopped back over from the Usra to the Angel. "Star, Valor, get us out of here!" He ordered them, in which Valor Dash saluted and then pushed the throttle to full again, bringing their engines back up. Flames jetted out of the back of the ship as they quickly sped past the Ursa Major. WindCatch would have them slow down just so their escort would keep up, but he had a feeling that the Usra could at least keep up to a point where they would keep track of where they go.

As the Mary continued to descend, StormRide looked at Arrow, seeing the anticipation clear on her face. "Arrow, I want you and few of the men to take one of the frigates stored in the docking bay and go after them. I'll provide you cover from afar. The mission is still the same; capture both captains and your sister, kill the rest of them and destroy their ships." He plainly told her without any sign of hesitation in his order, showing no remorse or forgiveness towards his brother.

A lone dot of metallic grey against against the morning sky, the Kestrel flew lazily on. That's not to say it was moving slowly, even at partial power a ship of the Kestrel's size with engines like it had moved at a decent clip, but rather the relaxed state of the crew. Given the state of affairs in Equestria the skies had become something of a warzone, which meant that for an independent ship the only time safety was guaranteed was when there were no other ships around. It was a bit lonely perhaps, but it also meant that there was nopony to declare the ship suspicious and open fire.

Crew members were taking advantage of the quiet to either deal with their auxiliary tasks or to generally relax, save for the captain who was currently steering the ship at the helm and a lookout on the upper deck.

The navigator, sitting at her usual table situated a little ways behind the helm and covered in hastily marked charts, was currently skimming over some historical records she hadn't had a chance to read yet. The blue unicorn looked up all of a sudden. “Anypony else hear thunder?”

The captain paused for a moment, cocking his head to the side and listening. “I don't think that's thunder...” he said eventually, before grabbing a speaking tube situated next to the main controls and calling out “See anything up there?”

There was a moment of quiet before the lookout's voice replied through the tube. “All I'm seeing up here are clouds. I think I heard some cannon fire a moment ago, though it sounded pretty distant.” Between the distance and intervening clouds, the lookout couldn't see the conflict they'd all heard.

“Doesn't mean it isn't a dangerous situation. That's a fair amount of cannon fire if it's as far as away as it sounds. They might just be taking cover in the clouds, keep an eye out.” Taalix spoke back to the tube, as he pushed a pair of levers. The Kestrel began moving skyward, getting away from the cloud cover below and thus possible ambush points beneath them, though otherwise maintained its course. “There are an unknown number of ships in combat near our location,” the captain called out, “All crew to ready stations!”
