Chaka-chaka-chaka

The wooden wheels cracked and rattled as the taxi carriage moved on the soft ground of Ponyville. Dusty had memorized that noise on her long trip there, and was happy to here it finally stop. She spread out her wings and flew outside the yellow taxi, and threw a coin to the driver. She glided above the ground through the quiet town, finally reaching the local park. Her wings slowed as she landed on the ground, now walking. She stopped her brisk trot as she had reached her destination.

A group of ponies of all shapes and sizes were gathered at the park square, some showing each other objects, some looking at maps, some sleeping. She walked in quickly, noticing the one burly pale pink, brown maned colt in the middle. The GuildMaster. "Long time no see." She neighed, the colt giving but a glance and a nod. This was it, the Dirt Pots guild.

Dusty sat down quickly and unpacked some old, worn, and obviously loved books. She saw the beautiful portraits of drsgons, and saw one tome, written in ancient canterlot writing. She translated many times, and knew it by heart: The Wealth of The Dragon. She read the book, reading over the tales of many dragons living in the ancient cave, sometimes leaving behind gems and treasures from thousands of years ago. It made Dusty's eyes sparkle thinking about it. She looked up in the sky at a gigantic behemoth of a rock. That was their goal. Dragon Mountain.

'How could I have missed that?' thought Seeker, galloping down the way to the park square. He had spend quite some time in the Heartland now, and had never heard of this "guild". From what he gathered, they were explorers and adventurers of sorts, and although Seeker wouldn't call himself any of those, he was certainly interested in their craft. He had gathered lots of informations about the mountains and woods of around while working on his studies. Maybe, just maybe, he would be able to trade in some of his findings for informations on local ruin sights, which would come in handy, since he had run out of leads.

As he came closer, he already saw a gathering of ponies in the park square, vividly discussing among themselves, around the books and loose pages, all of them filled with notes, and surely immeasurable wisdom. He slowed down a bit. Now that he was here, he wasn't quite sure how to approach them. His saddlebags were full of hoofdrawn maps and notebooks, and quick sketches of the ruins he'd found so far. On his side, Blacky, his black shepherd dog made a halt, and looked at him expectingly.

He was now standing at the edge of the group. So far nopony had noticed him. He wasn't sure how to approach them. This was the first time he witnessed such a gathering. "Ahmm.. Excuse me..?" he ventured. "I'm here for the.. guild meeting?" It sounded very meekly.

There was no immediate reaction and Seeker considered just to go. He never had to deal with something like this in the wild. But for now, he stood there motionless, eyes straight ahead.
