It was indeed good, but it wasn't a tear jerker for me. Hospice, however, made me get up and leave the room on several occasions.

I found it tearful as well.

There is a sequel that I don't think is by the same author. It's not as good well written, but does help with that "Dear Celestia WHY," feeling I had at the end of Dashie.

I read the Sequel, It wasn't bad. Really, the one thing that just makes me lose it though is when I read the letter that Dashie wrote to her dad...

i did not like my little dashie and it did not make me cry.
