Confound these ponies! They drive me to fanfic.

Before I entered the black hole that is the MLP fandom, I never read fanfiction, much less wrote my own. Now, here I am, not only sloggng through Fallout Equestria and about five others all at the same time, but also attempting to start my very own crossover fic. At least, I think it's a crossover fic. I'm not really up to date on the fanfic lingo.

Anyway, here is the prologue of my very first fanfic, a pony/Hunger Games crossover I'm calling The Equestria Games until I come up with a better title.
