The WONDERBOLTS! (1/3/12 - #1/366)

ZeroHero

So a relatively simple drawing to get the challenge started and boost my confidence now that I've finally gotten a handle on drawing ponies and can focus on more complex stuff and start putting my own touches on things. Yeah, I realize I'm already behind - hopefully I can manage to catch up and keep up with this. But heck, if it does end up being too much, as long as I keep pushing at it I'll end up somewhere, right? In the meantime, enjoy Rainbow Dash watching her heroes from the clouds I guess, lol. I really need to learn how to shade with copics.... >.<

One way to get subtle shading with copics is to lay the same color again on the areas you want slightly darker, which works with Copic Sketch markers. For darker shades, what works will is to lay the complementary color over the original, as they are on the opposite sides of the color wheel, the area will be darker and less saturated.
