  1. Stormy stepped back and raised one front leg, tilting her head to the side as she did. Confused, she asked, "Dragon? Whe- OH!" At this she laughed. "Right. I'm the dragon. No. I'm not really a dragon." She tilted her head to the other side and smiled calmly. "No, I'm a regular ol' pegasus just like you. But I'm dressed as a dragon for Nightmare Night. I'm sorry I scared you."

It was then that she noticed Tempest approaching. "Oh, thank you, glad to be of service," she said in response, smiling at the compliment. She took note of the pony's name and turned back to Starburst, wary of approaching lest she frighten the poor pegasus again.

  2. Stormy had arrived late to the Nightmare Night festivities, as she'd been doing spot checks for the weather most of the night, making sure everything looked sufficiently spooky. Afterwards, she'd had to take the time to put on her costume, and, though it was clunky to fly in, she was quite satisfied with it. It had taken her an incredible amount of time to decide what her costume would be, but when she finally landed on it, it didn't take her long to put the costume together. A pair of semi-translucent blue dragon wings were attached to her own, and her tail was braided and wrapped in ribbon, a barbed end attached to it to resemble a dragon's tail. Fake claws were attached to her hoofs, her hair was styled into spikes, and she had been going to wear fake teeth, though she decided against it for the sake of being able to eat and drink easily.

Eyeing the crowd and the size of it, Stormy decided to avoid dropping in on the middle, or even the edge, and opted to land near a fire she saw a ways out from the main bulk of the crowd. As she approached she that a pegasus mare was running the stand, and that this pegasus was dressed as a bumble bee for the festivities. She also noticed the smell of hot cocoa coming from the stand, and it made her mouth water.

"Hello, there," Stormy said, smiling at Starburst. "Mind some company?"

  3. Stormy shuffled her hooves as she stood at the gate to Cloudsdale. It'd been years since she'd set hoof on the clouds of her home, and she wasn't sure she was quite ready to return... However, she'd been ordered by the weather team back home that she needed to take a break. This seemed like the perfect chance to visit her father again, though he was busy in the weather factory for the moment. The pegasus figured she'd wander around Cloudsdale for a while before returning to her father's house.

Sighing briefly, the blue pegasus started into town, walking down memory lane, as it were. She saw ponies at work, and ponies at play, and she glanced up at the flight school for a few moments as well. She fondly remembered her weather classes there, and almost wanted to pay a visit to her old teacher, but thought perhaps she should at least wait until classes were out. Instead, she went wandering deeper into the city, to see anything that may have changed or was perhaps new. A few little shops had sprung up, and as she continued walking, Stormy lost herself in thoughts and memories.

She thought about storms, and her upcoming schedule with the weather team, and she thought about her father, and her school, and she thought about how she still couldn't really say that she knew anypony. She had always had few friends, and even after recovering from her mother's death, Storm hadn't really bothered to get to know anypony except her father. It was odd, and she came to the conclusion that this was something she needed to rectify. When she looked up, she realized that while she'd been lost in her thoughts, she managed to lose herself in Cloudsdale. The city had expanded apparently, and Stormy had no idea how or when she'd wandered into this unfamiliar new section. The fright that was just beginning to overtake her, however, was averted by a sudden hunger, and the pegasus sat down and stared around, confused, wondering where that smell of fresh baked bread was coming from.

  4. Exactly, Tales, except they'd be singing about my amazing ability to roll Natural 20's, and the fact that I play a BA Demon/Tiefling Hexblade with an epic Intimidate skill! No spellcaster stands a chance against me.

Also, there will be no hand-holding and running through the store at the end of the song. XD

  5. I sadly do not currently have a job. Yay for being a college student! Bluh. The job I held from two summers ago to this past summer was at the, like, number 3 or 4 luxury theater in the nation. It's in Kansas. Imagine that. Actually kinda crazy sounding. It was a fantastic job for the most part. I kept busy and enjoyed it and I was a great team leader towards the end of my time there when I got to run teams. And it wasn't like the jobs where you SPECIFICALLY do one thing. I did everything. I sold tickets, I tore tickets, I prepared/sold concessions, I cleaned and handed out and collected 3D glasses (customers don't get to keep ours; we rent them and keep them all fancy. Top notch stuff goin' on at my theater), I cleaned the whole building from top to bottom (except the balcony and projection; those were different businesses in themselves, practically). It was fun. I miss those peoples. I don't, however, miss working during Jackass 3D and having guys, who'd BROUGHT THEIR GIRLFRIENDS WITH THEM, come out and flirt with me while I'm trying to make sure nobody runs off with our 3D glasses. Yeah...

What I'm hoping to do next semester when I don't have an 8 o'clock class to worry about is work at the school library, a public library, or one of the gaming shops (not Gamestop, but, like... TCG and Tabletop RPG shops) around town. I'd be the only girl there. They'd get so much more business. They need to hire me. XD

  6. Thank you all for the welcome~!

@Tales, no I haven't played Munchkin yet. I really want to, though! Most people I hang around stick to DnD, and this summer I'll be running a Doctor Whooves/MLP tabletop RPG.

@Tenkan, hahaha. No, I can't read your mind because of my psychology setup; I can read your mind because 1) I'm just awesome like that, and B) I'm actually about as empathic as a human can get. Psychology just allows me to rationalize why you think the way you do. ;)

  7. I'm really bad at introductions, but, okay. I'm Ghost Girl, and I'm a published poet and an aspiring author. I'm currently working on a book called Ghost Girl's Guide to Going Geek, and a slight diversion from that right now is my "The Geeky Litmus Test: Just how nerdy are you?" I'm a Christian, I have a boyfriend of 2 1/2 years (he's a brony, too), and roughly 95% of my friends are guys, roughly 90% of which are bronies. I play D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and World of Darkness, along with a truckful of other tabletop rpgs. I also play Magic: the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh. No, I am not overweight, and no, I do not have poor hygiene. And, no, my boyfriend is not a neckbeard. He's kind of scrawny and he has a goatee.

I enjoy Star Trek (just about any of the series', though my preference is for TNG or VOY), Star Wars (original trilogy is superior!), Doctor Who, and Firefly/Serenity. I read Tolkien more than anything else, to be honest, but I also enjoy O. Henry, Orwell, and Bradbury, among others.

I'm attending college and am in the Freshman class, majoring in Psychology, and looking at a minor in Writing. If Writing were offered as a major here, that would be reversed, and if they begin offering it as a major while I'm here, I'm switching majors and minors in a heartbeat, I don't care how much longer I have to stay in college, and how much more money I have to pay.

I think that's about it. There's more, I know, and it'll come up in conversation. Please ask me questions, and get to know me~!
