I mean, generosity and magic are still open and the member count was something along the lines of two spots open to go with it.

So...welcome to the herd I guess. 

Everyone seems to go with ponies so I'll add to the trend then. Solarline fits for loyalty. (In case someone else wants it he can just be an outsider like Sven.)

Now, why would he (most likely) fit for the element?

Well, he might be as mad as a march hare but he'd never betray ones' trust or anything else for that matter. In fact, the word betray makes his mug look more sour than a barrel coming from the lemon farms. Being loyal to his friends has granted him the apartment he has under his hooves after he lost his job as a royal guard. (Most notably because the friends pay eighty percent of his rent out of pity.)

Why not Generosity or Magic?

He is so low on bits that he basically lives in a closet sized apartment in the bad side of Canterlot. He has not been able to be too generous. As for magic, he's a pegasus pony so it is rather obvious. (He is not very smart either so he'd probably be kicked out of magic elementary before it started, even if he had a horn sticking out of his forehead.)

I'm still in. Kinda went missing for a while there too.

Nah, it's fine as you want it. He has manners but still quite doesn't see friendship as most ponies do.

C'mon, he's not that rude. I mean, if he was a total prick I doubt he would suit for an element, the element would prolly banish him to Tartarus or something.

And the magic auras of unicorns are decided by either eyes or cutiemark or both. No really solid ground there.

Well the original poster says that all races allowed so I'll push my luck. If not, I'll just go with a slightly demilitarized version of Solar Line.

I've thought my character to be a Griffon. He is my most planned out character and would probably suit this. (At least somewhat.)

I say that this can't take place before the crystal empire appeared due to the sole fact of the mane six being too old to do their job anymore in this rp lore.

Edit: Yep, didn't read the chat again and now this post is useless as it was already answered.
