  1. The dentist pony soon set about her work. The thin metal pick and mirror floating inside of Pinkie's mirror to sleuth out the problem tooth and what coud possibly be causing its aching.

Spearmint thought it might've been several possibilities, rotting, a cavity, a cracked root, sensitive nerves, however none of that could've prepared her for what she was about to find and she had to stop herself from snickering when she did.

    Ofcourse! How simple!

Looking the pink pony in the eyes, her own smiled as the horn atop her head flashed briefly as a new set of items came along.

Instead of the cowhorn pliers however, a delicate pair of tweezers danced its way through the air before floating next to the mint colored mare and soon enough turned her attention back to the mouth in question. Why hadn't she expected this? It seemed logical enough..

"Okay, miss Pie you're going to feel a tiny bit of pressure."

And that was the only warning she got. And sure enough, there was pressure. A tiny, tiny bit of pressure, like something was being pulled out from her gum, but it didn't feel like any tooth. Soon after a few more delicate tugs however, the tweezers flew up to Spearmint's face as she looked over the offending object.

In the mouth of the tweezers was a small, candy colored shard, that looked like the shell of one of the many hard sweets the pink pony was sweet on herself, slightly crimson in color for being stuck in her gum.

    "That should be it!"

  2. Another day of school, it had been an all around awesome week. The play was...uhh...a little girly, but nice and he got to sit it out with most, if not all of his school friends. Including his new one! His new neighbour that was staying with the nice pony miss Tea Cozy.

Though he'd only just gotten to know the unicorn filly, Starlight already liked Sunrise's whole attitude and hearing about her exotic home and time on the island. Also it helped to have someone nearer his age to do study with. Oh he loved his aunt but...it felt a little one sided studying with her...and a little bit like cheating.

Smiling to Sunrise as he hastened his clopping at the sound of the schoolbell, the tiny white pegasi couldn't help but beam ever so slightly.

"I can't wait to see what lesson miss Cheerilee has for us today, can you, Sunrise?" Starlight could get very excited thinking of what would await their young minds today as he walked past the threshhold of the gates to school. As he did, he noticed somepony walking up the same old route as usual and made the foal blink slightly as he waved out to the lanky foal coming their way.

"Wormy! Wormy come on, you're gonna be late again! That's Wormy, she's a really nice filly and a good dancer too!"

Well...good was a matter of opinion.

Yes, sauntering with a bounce in her step was indeed Wormy, passing by the same mail box, the same fences, the same tree, doing the same routine as she always had. Saddlebags sat on her back and long, langly legs wobbling every now and then as she kicked them out in some unheard rythm that apparently was only heard by her.

She was good at remembering music. So remembering the rythm to music was easy too.

As she had all hooves on the ground, she shook her tri-toned tail happily before she was distracted. Who was that? Starlight!

She didn't know the other pony though! Tongue stuck out in thought she let the air run over it and giggled at the feeling, nice cold air. Oh! New pony!

Tottering over, she loomed over the other with her long limbs, lowering her head slightly and smiled brightly past that green scruff of forelock that practically drowned her horn.

"Hello!" She piped up happily but maybe a little too cheerfully to greet a stranger, standing at an akward closeness. "I'm Wormy!"

Whilst this was going on, a figure watched the schoolhouse with a faint murmur as he shuffled himself along.

.....Were they distracted....? All the ponies seemed to be going in...maybe if he acted nonchalant no one would notice him? Okay go...

No, no not yet, they'd notice you FULLY then...okay....okay now...

Trudging his way through the gates was Champ, unseen since the incident that happened in the classroom, the blue foal still wore a sour expression on his face but there was a feeling it was ever so slightly forced. And didn't have as much as the effect it might've wanted with the gauze bandaged around one of his back legs and bandaids on both his left cheek and right 'elbow'.

He didn't seem to carry his 'bad leg' like it might've hurt. But it was obviously a little heavier in how he walked with it as he stared forward, past the other ponies and trying to ignore them in the hope that they inturn would ignore him.

As he approached the schoolhouse however, he paused and glanced briefly towards Cheerilee.

Brief memories of that night when she and his father had come to find him made his ears splay back slightly. Ugh. Why was he DOING this? ...Because his dad suggested it.

Walking past the teacher, he murmured and stopped at her desk, rummaging around his saddlebag before he rested a red apple upon it and shot the teacher pony a look that said 'Don't expect this ALL the time' before he moved himself to his desk.

  3. Waiting patiently by Willow till she was picked up, she let out the faintest sigh of relief as the gentleponies came to help the poor filly up, she didn't like the look of the unicorn's leg one bit. It looked so hurt and soon they were all set off for the cart, or well, she was more pushed towards it by Braeburn to which her legs decided to move for her.

Hurrying herself towards the cart-...it was a cart right? She managed to shuffle herself inside and blink at how spacious it actually was. But oh such a noisy contraption!

All those odd sounds and such hurt the mule's ears, making them flatten slightly against her head as she briefly looked to the 'Doctor'. He was so eager for them to get away, she could understand, but really, you'd think he'd have a little more patience in a cris-

The sight of the cacti in the distance made the molly's eyes blink worriedly. Oh dear.

"Goodness! Hurreh! Get miss Wisp in th' wagon!"

Watching the cacti from where she sat, she watched the others worriedly before she felt the wagon edging ever so slightly. Was it moving? Only slightly but it was still moving! She blinked at the Doctor before her eyes snapped back to the other, hoping for them to hurry.

  4. Wincing visibly at the 'Dashie' comment, she glared at Pinkie Pie before it melted away. She hated nicknames like that, reminded her of when she was a foal or somethin'. It was so cutesie poo. Not at all worthy of RAINBOW DAS-Wait.

    She knew art?

Blinking at Pinkie Pie with a very confused expression, the chroma-maned filly just peered at the partying pony for a moment or two before the question eventually found her throat.

"Pinks, just how in Equestria do I do art?"

It seemed her answer would have to come on the move however as both Orange and Cat seemed to want their way around the town. How come she was suddenly the tour guide, did she have to buy a hat or something? 'Officialy Not Ponyville's Tour Guide'?

Rubbing her face with her hoof she eventually looked between the pair and nodded.

    "Sure, sure, let's go."

  5. Rainbow Dash really tried to keep her attention on the question Carrot posed to her which almost made her mentally scoff. Was it hard? Ohohoho...well yes it was. But honestly she had done it before, fluke or not. And it was a magnificent moment in her life which she replayed again and again in her head, the air bursting around her, the light bouncing off her body as she broke the barrier and the explosion of color that followed.

It was a moment of pure exhiliration and adrenaline.

Something she'd be telling her grandfoals about one day, if she had any someday, s'all good.

However watching those two out of her peripheral vision made her feel a little like horking it up, ugh, so sweet and cutesy. She grimaced to herself before rolling slowly so she floated upside down for a brief moment or two, ugh this was so akward to do. Even if the Poison Joke had did it to her, doing it when everything was alright made her stomache want to inverse.

"Should I leave you two love birds alone~?" The colorful pony teased in an almost musical tone of voice before twirling back to a less vomit enducing position.

  6. Celestia patiently watched her sister for a moment, watching the heat flush over the filly's face until it welled up further and further, only to come as an outburst that caused the princess to blink in faint suprise at the other. She let this new knowledge sink in before a worried expression softly worked over the white mare's face and she took a few soft steps forward and rested her muzzle against Luna's in some attempt to calm her younger sister.

"Shhh shh Luna, Luna be calm...it will be alright....I'll help you, I promise I will."

  7. Once the other's mouth was opened, she had barely expected the musical trill to come from it and blinked in faint surprise. Just watching the pink pony for a moment before a soft chuckle escaped her, she was used to ponies normally clamping their mouths shut or trying to talk with the mouth gawked open. But this was certainly new.

"Are you sure you're not an opera pony, miss Pie?" The minty colored pony teased almost playfully as one of the miniature toothpaste tube's opened up with a soft sparkle of the unicorn's magic. It was soon squeezed and a dab of odd looking blue gel floated through the air and began to rub itself along Pinkie's gums. The side of the mouth where she'd pointed out the problem tooth.

It barely took a moment to work, soon the side of the mouth felt cool and numbed...but the taste...bubblegum! She'd chosen bubblegum flavoured gel!

Well, it was the biggest sweet tooth in Ponyville, might aswell've chosen a sweet numbing gel.

"Okie dokie! Let's see about this tooth!" Soon the mirror and pick gently floated in as Spearmint went about her work. "I need you to try and keep your mouth open, alright? Don't want you to hurt your teeth more on these metal instruments."

  8. Preparing her items that stood by the pony like floating miniature soldiers, ready to do their work, the pink pony's words caught her briefly offguard before she turned her head slightly. Eyes smiling where her muzzle was covered and moved across the room to pick up two funny looking items that looked like miniature toothpaste tubes.

Why hadn't she gone to parties? Well...one reason was that they were so chaotic and anything out of place made her feel slightly...tetchy...like she wanted to straighten it up and fix it, which made her very akward at social events when she spent half the time trying to straighten things in the hallway or get the last spot of muck off a plate. But for the sake of politeness she explained herself.

"Well I'm not always the partier and with a whole surgery to tend to aswell as my little nephew, my timetable gets a little busy during the day." Raising her hooves to the sink, they were washed and soon two little paper hoof gloves soon covered them. "I don't think I've really been in the Sugarcube Corner since I was a filly, but I do hear a lot of good things from it, aswell as some nice things from my nephew who likes buying some blue taffy twists from there now and then."

Finally moving over to where Pinkie sat, she smiled behind her mask and brought the little mirror on a stick floating to her side.

"Now then, I'm going to need you to open your mouth and say 'ahh' for me."

  9. When she was hugged, she winced a little bit. He was uhh...really friendly. Which was good, she guessed, a little fanboyish sure but then again she'd been overly casual with the Wonderbolts once between intermitant squealings. Offering a faint smile she trotted slightly to the side and looked over his wings, it wouldn't be easy with...well...his wing like...THAT. But bigger miracles had happened when it came to flying.

She would've loved the opportunity that was offered up to him, that was true and she hid that bubbling envy rather well beneath her confident exterior as she settled down and looked over him.

"Alright, first off, let's see what you've got."

  10. Eyeing the strange earth pony and then the pegasi, Bluebelle felt a little at wits end. What in the name of Celestia was going on-

Then the earth pony ran! And suggested they would too, now why in the world would they- A faint sound made one large ear flop up as she turned and looked at the floating cacti that were coming in their direction...wait. What?

Floating cacti?? So did that mean the stories were true? Eyes widening slightly at the sight Bluebelle could do nothing but stare in faint disbelief at just what she was seeing. Floating Cacti. -GHOST- Cacti. She would've run but her legs had locked slightly and she found herself a tad frozen...until Willow suddenly moved towards them.

She blinked herself out of her stupor and gawked at the unicorn.

    "Miss Wisp! Be careful!"

Watching on fearfully for the unicorn, she soon watched as some of the cacti fell to reveal tiny little balls of fire that floated around Willow like moths would dance around an open flame and she mentally commended the filly on her bravery. That however was short lived as she ran towards the entrance to the tunnel and began to dodge most of the thorns.

What was she doing!? She was going to get hurt or worse!

Eyes widening she called after the dark pelted filly, concern ringing through that southern trill.

"Miss Wisp! Don' go bein' stupidly brav-!" She was hit! The mule saw it and let out a soft gasp as her hooves danced fretfully in place.

What were those thorns doing to her? Her back leg looked like a watermelon losing its color! Oh what could she do? What could she do? She didn-...wait!

Blinking she suddenly moved to stick her nose into Braeburn's saddle bag, he said he'd prepared! Oh please, please, please let one be there! Soon she took out a waterskin and beamed at her find as she ran as best as her long legs could to the hurt unicorn.

As she did, the cacti tried to catch her off with her thorns, claim another victim, but being as skittish as she was and with those huge ears she heard and ducked the onslaught of sharp pricks till she met skidded to a halt next to the darker filly. Glancing at the floating balls of thorns that floated ever closer she tossed the waterskin to her right, watching it smack one cacti and split open with the thorns as it landed a good seven or eight feet away. Water splashing everywhere over said cacti and the sand as soon it's brethren swarmed to suck up the liquid like pidgeons over breadcrumbs.

Okay. That worked. She was so THANKFUL that worked! Okay, steady your breathing, Belle, steady it. Looking over Willow she soon looked over her shoulder to where the others were.

"Come on! Let's get 'er away from here!"

  11. The fact her sister almost seemed a little eager aswell as reluctant to push her away from the studying, made Celestia just the tiniest bit curious and concerned. She knew her sister could hate her still...she was in every right too...but it seemed like she still wanted Celestia to stay. Something wasn't right...

Perking a brow she trotted a little closer to her younger sibling, looking over her with a faintly concerned expression.

    "Is everything alright....?"

  12. The apprahension in the pink pony's smile made her own smile a little more understanding, she'd seen that look so many times she knew it wouldn't be the last and despite that it just continued to amuse her. She herself didn't see the fear in what she did, but then again, she loved oral hygiene.

Nodding to the aknowledgement of her name, she watched herself being directed to the tooth in question that was the problem and perked a brow. Hurting for a few days. Hmm...

"I see..." She muttered inbetween Pinkie's words before offering a small smile. "Well we'll only see what the problem is when we have a proper look, come this way, please."

Motioning to the back room she made her way through the door, horn already set aglow as on the far table from the patient's chair, a small mask flew from it and affixed itself to Spearmint's muzzle. Tieing itself up in a fanciful little string bow at the back before she motioned Pinkie to the seat.

"Please make yourself comfortable." The unicorn said behind the thin paper mask as her hooves clopped happily against the smooth white floor, horn still glowing as a few more instruments flew to her side, like a tiny mirrior and a small pick.

  13. A fan? Perking a brow Rainbow Dash simply sat there and listened to Tobias' tale all the way through as he wove it along. Feeling a tiny bit envious of his days with the Wonderbolts, dangit she'd have loved for that opportunity, to be picked out for the Wonderbolts so early on...then the tale took a slight turn and her envy quickly dipped into a sympathetic wince as she watched him and looked over his wing once more.

A hydra did that? Ouch. Getting it torn or sprained was one thing...but a hydra bite...that was awful.

Watching the other pony curiously, she heard him through to the very end and felt a little at ends at what to do when she saw the tears coming. Oh jeez she wasn't good with handling tears.

    Races, sure.

    Boastful ponies, easy...mostly.

Tears were far out of her jurisdiction and her ears splayed slightly as she watched him, a small unsure noise escaping her before she raised a hoof to tentatively pat the other's shoulder. Trying to offer the most comforting smile she could for someone she barely knew.

"Uhh...oh jeez, don't cry for Celestia's sake...if it means that much to you I'll help you out best I can."

  14. A pony with a stupid cape and monologuing? Peering oddly at Tenderbloom for a moment he shared a brief look with Malediction that said 'Is she for real?' before moving to sit himself down in the corner somewhere whilst he sorted out his little rambling gear. Scarf in one satchel bag...cupcakes and such in the other one...and he could use the stick for warding off monsters. Easily.

Glancing down at all the items he had, he peered up at Malediction as she spoke again, ears flattened back further in his attempt to look uninterested and or tough but it briefly wavered at the sight of the missing eye. Jeez...that looked terrible. He had to stare for a very long time before shaking his head and going back to organising his stuff.

He wasn't a moron. They were moron's. Nor was he a pipsqueak and he snorted with a faint sneer as he held his head up high.

"Yeah! Well, they don't call me Champ for nothin'! This stupid forest'll practically step aside for me!" And that was that, with a soft snort he sat back down and sorted through his things.

As the pegasus went on about her friend, the losing the family part kind of made him snort under his breath, touching his rambling sack that was slightly squared off with the picture frame poking slightly at the insides of the fabric.

Yeah...well...losing family was tough. Y'had to get....get used to it...and...a-and be strong. Swallowing hard he looked to the tray on the stump and moved to take one off it. It was cold. What a jip. Oh well, it was food.

  15. Gasp! There was the door! And a voice! Her first patient of the day! Eeeeee!

She could've practically danced on the spot! Now, nooooow, Spearmint, get a hold of yourself old girl, you needed to be proffesional about this, cleaning teeth is a job not JUST a joy! Practically having to dumb down the wattage of her smile, she cleared her throat and moved out from the surgery and to the main reception area.

Her little greeting welcome practically chiming from her with a well practiced ring.

"Welcome to the Pearly White Dentist Surgery! Aiming to put a smile on your face, how may I help---....you?"

The 'you' was more a suprised questioning, she never would've thought in her wildest dreams she'd see the sugar queen herself in her own surgery. With how much teeth rotting gunk she gobbled down, Spearmint thought she'd avoid this place like the pony pox! But apparently she was wrong...

Getting over the initial shock, the mare rose her eyebrows and offered a genuinely suprised and cheerful smile to the pink pony whom she could tell at first glance was feeling perhaps a tad nervous. After seeing so many of the same disposition, she'd gotten the habit of telling when ponies were a little...apprahensive of being here.

"Well, bless my stars, I never thought I'd see Ponyville's own party pony in my little surgery." She started with a soft, good natured chuckle. "What seems to be the problem, Miss Pie?"

  16. The Travelling Players? That sounded so fun! A small smile beamed on his tiny face at the thought of seeing a play...and then an after party? At Sugar-Cube corner none the less! It made the little foal give out a soft whinny of excitement.

This was turning out to be a great day!

Especially when the show and tell was mentioned, he almost immediately knew what he'd be showing! His daddy's helmet!

    Was there anything better?

His daddy had told him that he used to wear it all the time when he was Starlight's age...or...atleast a little bigger, he'd modified it to match the size of the foal's head and he thanked his father for that much. Oh his mind was reeling with so many ideas! He could tell them about his daddy's job and his mommy's job and how his daddy found his cutie mark in moving around the aurora borealis! This was gonna be so exciting!

And the fact they were going to get entertained AND have some treats at a party afterwards! He couldn't wait. In the back of his mind he hoped that his dear aunt wouldn't mind him snacking on sweets....hey...he'd forgotten his aunt. A small thoughtful frown went through him as he thought...

But despite that, he waved a hoof in the air excitably.

"I wanna go too! It's gonna be the bestest day ever!"

  17. Her sister's worry made her smile, she didn't like making her sister so worried over her actions because of....well....past times. Looking over the book as she settled it down on the stand, a small, thoughtful noise escaped her.

This was a very old book, perhaps a little too complicated for someone just fresh returned to magic though and with a soft flash, a few books soon flew from the shelves to rest upon the table the other book's stand was rested near. A few simpler books. A few more older and linguistic books aswell.

"Well if you want, we could study together? These dusty old tomes can get a little boring by yourself."

  18. That was...akward. Blinking her large and slightly suprised eyes at the 'doctor' once more she looked to her sister whilst her mind went on thinking. Could he have been....no.

He'd have passed on by now, surely. There was simply no way in....mind you...

As he went on about how they still remained uptop, the Princess felt compelled with her gut feeling to trust the pony and glanced to the two guards still looking rather fierce with both their beloved princesses in their stead and a strange pony here, a simply nod however eased them both and Celestia delicately nudged her sister's cheek in a soft, affectionate gesture as she moved to a door leading into the castle. If the colt was correct, something would be going terribly wrong...and besides...there was an odd feeling of familiarity to the young stallion.

Perhaps how in detail he went on about her younger sister, or aknowledging she indeed wandered into the bowels of the castle long ago...she never had ventured there in a long, long time since her livelihood.

And to this day, something made her wary of going down still.

    But why?

Looking to their guest, she offered a small smile and a nod for him to follow and for Luna to follow, she wanted to keep an eye on her sister incase anything was found...and it was dangerous. That protective instinct running very fiercely through her.

  19. "Aaaaaall the time."

She replied with a small sympathetic smile aimed at Strawberry as she whispered back to the pony, watching Pinkie's interaction with a subdued humor even if it brightened her smile ver so slightly.

Pinkie was always the life of the party and could brighten up any dull afternoon...if you had the patience and it seemed patience must've been thrust upon Rainbow this afternoon with the ammount of ponies that were around. Bumping into her or even falling from the sky.

Glancing back to the petite pegasus again, she plinked her magenta eyes curiously at her as she flew up to meet with her and gave the miniature pony an odd look as she mentioned her sleeping on cirrus clouds. Cirrus? Seriously? They weren't bouyant enough for a pony to sleep on, yeah maybe more ACTIVE pony's...but really...who'd WANT to sleep on them?

Restraining herself from answering anything she let Pinkie do most of the talking whilst she hovered.

The conversation then took a turn that...went a little over Rainbow's head.

    Art?

Art was slow and didn't move, it didn't really have a purpose in Dash's mind other than stay there and look pretty like some painted pony. So floating there she gave a very slight if appologetic shrug to Cat.

"Art aint really my thing, sorry..."

  20. Rainbow's ego perked its huge head up when her accomplishment at the young flyer's was mentioned, a smile split from ear to ear as she was practically cantering in mid air with a showgirl flair whilst she spoke. Wings fluttering away happily at their owners own joy that bubbled happily in the pit of her stomache.

To be mentioned, to be spoken of as a legend, it made the boastful pony so cheerful to know she'd done well and had done well by doing exactly what she loved. Flying.

"Well!" She started, bringing a hoof to her chest with that grin still in place.

"From a pegasus like myself, y'just can't expect nothing BUT the finest!"

Okay that may have been a bit too much. She won out of luck, if she hadn't hit the barrier, Rarity and the 'bolts would've been...well...it didn't matter. She HAD gone fast enough. And she HAD gotten to them in time and THAT is what mattered.

Still fluttering infront of the pair, she listened to their conversation and briefly glanced upwards. Yeah, stars were nice, not that interesting though...just...staying there. Motionless. Doing nothing for the majority of the time. Now SHOOTING STARS. -THEY- were awesome! She'd always wanted to race a shooting star, it was on her list of awesome things she wanted to do in her life.

  21. Blinking at the weird pegasi, she sat herself down beside the pony and watched him closely as he spoke...he'd heard of her? Well, that was to be expected, ofcourse, hiding her smirk the best she could however she listened on and blinked.

Teach him to fly? Perking a brow questioningly she looked over the outstretched wing and winced, self conciously clinging her wings to her body, she'd have hated anything happening to her own little wind slicers. Her babies.

At the story part, she winced a little. She had to sit still? Oh man. But if it would help this guy out...she couldn't see the harm in it, right?

"Uhh...sure...why not? I got time to kill." Looking to him again she offered a small, patient smile. "Lay it on me."

  22. Blinking at her little sister's worry, she smiled ever so faintly and nudged her sister's cheek with an affectionate air to her movements as she eye'd over the younger mare. Glancing briefly to the slightly reddened imprint the book had left, Celestia could only smirk in faint amusement at the shape. Celestia the book pelted princess.

Smiling to Luna she hushed her in gentle reassurance.

"Luna, Luna, I'm fine, don't worry little sister...a book can't hurt me that much and it was an accident."

Glancing to the book, she eye'd over the title and grimaced ever so slightly, oh dear, not that one. That one was a corker...looking to Luna she smiled softly.

    "So...how's the study going?"

  23. Help? Her mind was crying out 'YES', despite her love for the foals, she only had so many hooves to take care of the little darlings and she did enjoy her work fully...it was just a little bit overwhelming with her condition and the fact there were just so many in today. Who'd have thought so many pony' had to work today? Or that they'd have little ones?

A faintly embarassed blush traced its way over her features as he mentioned her condition and tenderly touched her belly with one hoof, she could barely forget her condition. Her second little treasure on the way. Smiling she looked up to the earth pony and a small smile came to her features.

"Well...it is nearly snack time, I could use the help with my business partner working at somepony's house." She said, taking two coins out of her purse before offering them to him with one hoof. "But I wouldn't want you to be held up from anything you're busy for..."
