"Pretty cool, huh? He learned to do that up in the pool we have. First time he's been to the ocean too." Flareworks told Crystal. Flick came back, water was rolling off his body like a waterfall. He then collapsed in a heap and started snoring. Flareworks quickly nudged him onto her back and while he lay sleeping, watched Blue Bolt surfing. Flareworks was glad that she had just found two new friends, because all of her other friend, were her best costumers.

"Well, as I said, I'm a blacksmith. But I can surf. And I know some of my good customers surf, so yeah, it's a really cool hobby. Flick, is a coal dragon dragon, not an earth dragon, he's supposed to live in a volcano, but uhh, he's not exactly a pure breed. He's a water and coal dragon. He could've died if they were in exact balance, but luckily, he's more water." Flareworks replied. Hearing his name, Flick perched up. "He's quite a silly little dragon." Flareworks tossed her head in a gesture she taught Flick to do a trick to. "Watch this!" Flareworks exclaimed. Then, Flick turned into serpent and crawled into the water. Flareworks watched with a content streak to her face as her created a huge wave. " Blue Bolt, that one's for you. Crystal, just wait one sec-" Flareworks was cut off as Flick made another wave.

Alright, it's all fixed now. But ummm. My pegasus is in the earth pony sub board ?.?

"Ohhh. Um, I'm on vacation. I just needed some cool air. Being in the back of a black smith shop, can get pretty warm." Flareworks replied with a slight smile. Flick went up and thrummed happily at Crystal. "Get back here silly!" Flareworks giggled. Flareworks raised her eyebrow at the pad and pencil, but to each her own.

"Phew. Anyway, nice to meet you Blue Bolt and Crystal." She said nodding to the ponies. "Hey do guys need some new armor? I own a blacksmith shop, up in Cloudsdale. Also, I could give you a discount." She concluded. Flareworks grinned as Flick came over and thrummed his greeting.

Flareworks was at the beach for a vacation. Her pet dragon, Flick was burrowing in the sand. "Don't be like that! Come out and play silly." The dragon came out and trotted behind Flareworks. She then saw two ponies. "Hey guys." She saw one pony's concerned face. "What happened?"

When she was born in Cloudsdale, her mother mysteriously disappeared. Her father then went out searching for her but never returned. Flareworks had to stay with her Aunt, who was a blacksmith. When her Aunt retired, Flareworks took over the shop, and renamed it Flaretastic Works. You'll find her either at her shop, or over at the boutique. She loves fashion, but won't ever give up being a Blacksmith to become a fashion designer. But she loves to volunteer her time on weekends at the boutique to help out her friends. One day at the shop when she was an almost full grown filly, her Aunt told her to watch the shop, but not work with any metal or fire. Unfortunately, Flareworks had another idea in her mind. She went back and created four silver horseshoes, with delicate vine patterns engraved, and a comfy fit for her Aunt. The other cashier had watched Flareworks the whole time, and was so stunned he couldn't talk. When her Auntie got back, she was shocked to see the beautiful amour, but was too proud to be mad. Flareworks, turned to her flank to see that she finally found her cutie mark. She wore, and decided having Flareworks working in the back, while she took the orders was the best way to go. Flareworks Aunt retired as soon as Falreworks was old enough to work the shop herself. Her Aunt exacts words were, " I have no gift, like you in the art of being a Blacksmith. Take over the shop please, it'll be a lot better for everyone, and your parents would've insisted on it." Flareworks agreed without hesitation. Flareworks is still really lonely at sad times when she remembers her parents. She likes to fly as high as she can go, because she believes she can talk to them. She was just really hurt when her parents disappeared without warning. Sometimes, she'll fly to the highest cloud she can find, and weep like no tomorrow to let her grief out. She has tried to find different hobbies, but never really succeeded so she decided to stay just with being a Blacksmith. When Flareworks has dreams, she dreams she's soaring so happily, and then found her parents to greet her. She usually wakes up but her baby dragon, who's black and orange, Flick always nudges her awake once she starts crying with joy. Her pet can't speak. She had found Flick behind her shop, digging through the trash. She adopted him, and took care of him, and now, Flick is her best friend.
