Why is this so amazing

It's a texture overlay, yes! I adjust the opacity differently depending on how I need the colors to look, so some seem a little more papery (parchment-y?) than others. It's a very simple and fun effect!

This has got to be one of the most striking and eye-pleasing pony OCs I've ever seen! She's so very pretty, and there's this fine daintiness about her here that compliments the delicacy of her color scheme incredibly well.

I imagine him as sounding like the singer from the Orthodox Celts for a reason that's also associated with the hat! Golly!

This image is adorable, and I'm very fond of the character concept, as well. It sounds like it could belong to a character right out of the show!

All of these are so amazing! I love the idea of capturing the essence of a character with such simplicity, and you've taken the concept to all sorts of fun levels by displaying all kinds of personalities.
