I'd been mulling the idea of a lady buffalo around in my head for a while. I wanted to see if I could pull it off as a work of art, but as I was working on it, something of a character started to form in my mind too. She's sort of a errand buffalo, she goes off and collects things or trades things, but she keeps goofing up. She does manage to make it look like she "meant to do that," when she does mess things up though. Like when she loses a flake of hay, but it ends up being eaten by a hungry pony who later thanks her. She also has a connection with animals, but she's got sort of a love hate relationship with them.
