  1. Cross-Stitch turned at the sound of his name, the sudden movement caused his mane to float up a bit before gently falling back into place. He remembered that voice, it was Rose! The thought of seeing a friendly face caused a wave of relief to wash over him as he let out a breath. "Oh, hello Rose! Of course I made it, I wouldn't miss this for the world!" He said, shaking his head to add emphasis, the shaking motion again caused his mane to float up and down. He removed his sunglasses and tucked them neatly into his front pocket before returning to Rose, "How was your ride? Pleasant I hope!" He smiled warmly, and the lights reflected off of his white teeth. He had went to every step to look his absolute best for this day, which was becoming more apparent with each second that he existed. He looked down at Rose's dress, which he recognized instantly, "Oh! You're wearing the dress! It looks smashing on you!" He winked as he finished his sentence.
  2. I'm here too! HAHA! Though I'm about to disappear back into Skyrim.
  3. Sonic the Hedgehog was the most amazing thing ever to me. I remember having all the Genesis games as a kid, and beating all of them, with the Chaos Emeralds of course. I hope Generations is as good as the old days...
  4. I prefer the term 'Huggable,' but thanks! Again! :3
  5. Oh, that picture was from ages ago... Though I haven't changed much. Thank you though, that was quite flattering.
  6. I'm watching the new episode! How are you doing?
  7. I have awoken from my millennium long sleep. I'm ready to reclaim my throne as the King of Madness. Also, hi.
  8. Sorry to hear that :[ I hope you get to feeling better soon. I've had a terrible headache all day that's just now starting to go away. Thank you modern medicine.
  9. JUST AN UPDATE ON MY SKYRIM ADVENTURE: I was over encumbered, so I threw something down. Kid walks up to me "You dropped this! " This is when I learned that children in this game are invincible. I just killed a dragon. Whilst I'm absorbing its soul, this spider walks up to me with the biggest pair of oranges and hits me. It's like he watched me kill a dragon, then called me a b**** and proceeded to slap my rump... With its fangs. I'm in Riverwood, and I'm talking to the smithy, trying to find some quicksilver ingot. He has none, so I choose to quick travel to Whiterun, "You cannot fast travel with enemies nearby!" Look up, Dragon. Oh.
  10. I'm playing Skyrim. I'm level 3. Why is this Frost Troll here. Leave me alone.
  11. No other thread that I like is active, so I came here to waste time :3
  12. I would say the same for yours... But... Oh what the hay, get over here! Hai... again? :3
  13. HAHA, I understood NONE of that! I'm just going to go by the title then: I hope nothing too important was lost. And you need to get to ponyfing that computer ASAP!
  14. Blogs are something I never understood, perhaps because they never interested me in the first place. To me, a blog feels like a place where I keep a bunch of notes. Except my notes are out on a coffee table in my living room and I'm having a house warming party and everyone is SO curious and they just HAVE to read my notes. Of course, I'm being facetious, because we all know no body would come to my house warming party. So, I will sit alone in my house and read my notes aloud to my imaginary friends who I just love to have arguments with. This leads me to the second thing I see blogs as, a place to say something. The second way I see a blog is a place to come when something just WON'T stop biting at the back of my mind like a starving cat who's hungry for under-used brain. For those of you lucky enough to have never encountered a starving cat, it hurts. So then you may be asking, "But CrossStitch, the way your typing makes it sound like you HATE blogs!" to which I say, "You can't hear the tone of my voice through text on a screen! Shut up!" Then I promptly apologize and explain myself. I don't HATE blogs, I just don't understand the usefulness of them, nor do I understand why I would WANT one. Perhaps that curiosity is why I finally decided to have one here on Canterlot. I decided to have one on Canterlot as I rather like the community here and I don't expect to get any comments saying "Wow, this blog is absolute rubbish!" And if I do get any comments like that, you bet your flank I'll read them in a British tone of voice. To summarize though; I'll be using this blog to either bring up points that I'd like to see discussed, or I'll just use it as a place to archive my thoughts. Yes, neither of those seem that interesting, nor do either sound like a good base to build a healthy blog upon, but then again I'm new to blogs so what do I know!? Have fun reading my thoughts. Weirdo.
  15. Cross-Stitch nodded, "Indeed. It looks smashing on you." Just then, there was a familiar jingle. It was the sound of the bell above his door ringing, signifying the door was opened. He looked to the door, a bit in disbelief that he had yet another customer. He was actually getting a little giddy from all of the attention. But the pony instead came in to seemingly celebrate his shop opening, which was a welcome gesture. Cross-Stitch's legs hurt a bit from all the work he had been putting in, but if this pony wanted something, he'd be more then happy to oblige. Still, she seemed very kind, which was also a warmly welcomed. "Ah, hello." He said, bowing his head, "My name is Cross-Stitch, owner of 'The Perfect Fit," The introduction rolled off his tongue, and he loved how it sounded, "Business...," He put a hoof to his chin, recalling all of the events of the day, "Has been great." he said with a wide grin. It was true, he had had a total of four customers just on his fourth day, with this new pony possibly making the fifth. "Oh, but where are my manners? And you are...?"
  16. Cross-Stitch repeatedly ran a hoof through his mane, trying to straighten it. His heart pounded out of his chest, he could hear it in his head, could hear the blood rushing through him. Nervousness was nipping at him hard, and he had no idea what to do. He took in large and slow breaths, calming his breathing down, which in turn slowed his heart down. The carriage pulled him ever closer to the luau where he was sure that his dive into popular fashion would begin. He could hear noises getting closer, and could only assume it was his destination. The invitation had came so suddenly, and unexpectedly. Apparently he had been noticed by a more important designer who really wanted to see more of his works, and even see him become more popular. At first, he was ecstatic! All of his hopes and dreams could come true! But now, he was nervous, scared, petrified, and so on. The carriage stopped, and so did his heart. His eyes were wide, but he knew it was go-time. He took another deep breath in, and the door opened. Cross-Stitch stepped out with a large smile on, sporting a very sophisticated looking suit. It was black, the same shad as his mane, and his own cutie mark was hand stitched into the left pocket. Under the suit jacket was a white button up shirt with the top two buttons left unbuttoned. He never really enjoyed buttoning all of his buttons up, it felt restricting to him, which was ironic as he loved to wear scarves. In the pocket of the jacket was a handkerchief that matched the color of his coat to a tee. His mane fell perfectly to his left side, and it was perfectly straight at well, he had obviously put a lot of time into his appearance. A pair of dark sunglasses wrapped the outfit up. They were dark, but his blue eyes could be seen through the tint, and they seemed to glow in the light. With a wide smile, he began his walk. Growing up in Canterlot taught him how to walk with elegance, and grace, almost as if he was a model himself. As his entrance ended, he turned and winked. "Well... That went smoothly." He said to himself as he made a few adjustments to his outfit. But that was only half of his troubles. Now, he had to actually mingle with all of the more important designers and models. Hew swallowed the lump in his throat and put his confident face back on.
  17. The new Street Fighter X Tekken trailed just blew my mind.

  18. Gladwin rose up, smiling widely. Everything felt right to him, like there was nothing to worry about. A huge wave of relief hit him, it felt like the wave itself carried away every fear of the world with it. He didn't have to be alone anymore, he could have her, forever. He nodded slowly, "Of course... I told you a long time ago that I wanted you forever..." He was of course talking about when they almost froze. He swore to her then and there that he would always be there for her, and that he would never leave her side. He promised to her today that he would be stronger, and that he would take care of her. He had so many promises to her that he wanted to keep, and he intended to do so. One of his arms rose up and ran his talon softly through her mane, following it with his eyes. "I love you Holly, I always have... " His eyes began to water again, but he didn't bother to stop the tears. A small sob attempted to escape, but he barely held it back. Staring at her, the mare of his dreams, his future wife, he couldn't hold himself back. He moved forward quickly and took her into his arms, hugging her tightly. He rested his head atop of hers, enjoying the warmth of her head against his neck. She was always warm, always smelt the same, strawberries of course. He could get used to waking up to that.
  19. You are mixing my two favorite things. I must warn you that the this mixture can lead to high levels of want from me.
  20. Cross-Stitch trotted into the hospital with a slight limp. Any kind of pressure he exerted on his front right leg was met with a sharp tinge of pain, effectively making his leg useless. He slowly made his way up to the sign-in booth, and put his name down, and then moved to a nearby seat. His hooves made an odd beat against the floor as he limped away, and eventually reached a place to rest. The journey here was incredibly difficult with only three functioning legs, and it showed. Cross-Stitch was huffing and puffing trying to catch his breath. He was never one for sports, so he wasn't exactly 'Conditioned,' and his now recent handicap had made matters even worse for him. After a bit of rest, he seemed to have calmed down, his breathing was normal, and his heart had returned to its normal pace of beating. His mane was a bit frazzled though, and his coat was a bit messed up from the sweat. He felt positively awful to be out and about with his person in such disarray. he mentally made a note to bathe the moment he was able.
  21. Gladwin smiled, he lifted the package up, holding it right in front of him. "Holly, I've been all over Equestria, and I've seen it all..." His voice no longer shook, he wasn't thinking about what to say, but was instead pouring his heart out, "But you... You're something different. You made me stay, made me want to be with you, made me want you..." He smiled and looked straight at Holly, he put one of his talons on her shoulder, a tear could be seen in the corner of his eye, "Holly, you are the most amazing pony I've ever met, you're beautiful, you're fun, you're energetic, you're... You." His gaze fell down to the box in front of him. He laid on his stomach and opened it with his beak, inside was a gorgeous gold ring that shone with a bright intensity. The reflections of the forest around them was captured perfectly in its flawless surface, "Holly Dash, I want to be with you forever... Will... Will you marry me...?" He looked up with a hopeful grin on his face.
  22. [[ You double-poster! Grrr! ]] Gladwin smiled, and began to slowly walk toward Holly, every muscle in him screamed to stay still, but he couldn't. "Hey, I may not be the best, builder, but you don't have to cry." He laughed warmly, which had a hint of weakness to it. "I hope you had fun today, because this was all a pain to put together..." He laughed again, this time, it had a tinge of nervousness to it. He scratched the back of his head and looked away, trying to look everywhere except at Holly herself. He had a horrible blush on his face. "I hope you like it." His talon clutched hard at the package in his talon as he looked straight down at his trembling talon. His whole body felt like shaking, but he kept it to a minimum. "There's... Something... I was wanting... To talk to you about..." His eyes darted back and forth, and his voice quivered, "But I need ya to stop crying for a sec." He laughed again, and wiped a tear from her eye, "What's wrong?"
