  1. How do I draw a pony looking down?

    what angle are you looking for? straight on? 3/4 view? side view? try finding some pictures from the show as reference. there's a lot of good shots of rainbow dash (who's hair is similar to derpy's in style) that you could use

    from the front view, the top half of the mane is usually brushed off to one side, while the bottom half hangs over the other side

    for a 3/4 or side view, just draw it hanging straight down. it's really similar to a pony looking straight, only gravity pulls it a different direction

    I have a suggestion too. Given that if this receives enough attention you might be able to end up with multiple threads running from the central theme, it would be worth getting as many ponies participating as possible. Perhaps it would be an idea to have some short setup rps running first? I was thinking I could have Snowflake hanging posters in the major cities and towns, advertising the upcoming flight camp. They don't need to be particularly active, but it'll raze awareness.

    I agree. But what do you mean by setup RPs?

    Occupation: Weatherpony Rain Chaser (chases rainclouds for pegasi and earth ponies, can herd them with her magic)

    Motivation: She likes control, and being a weatherpony gives her that. She enjoys running and using magic, and her favourite part of the job is seeing the happy and sometimes relieved faces of the ponies and creatures she chases clouds for. She likes working with foals, fillies and colts, so in her free time she helps out with a preschool.

    Character Summary: Rainchaser was named after the weather when she was born but it turned out it was pretty accurate. If she was a pony, her cutie mark would probably be for painting, as she has always had a talent for that, or for herding. She currently

    lives in Trottingham, but goes other places to help with the weather. She is good with foals, because she had 3 younger siblings, and she often had to babysit all of them. Her mother is good at creating small auroras, and it was she who taught Rainchaser how to paint, and her father is a doctor, as

    her grandparents wanted to move to Trottingham to see what all of the fuss was about cities.

    Her dream is to become famous for what she does, even though it is unlikely. However, she is good at her job, and sometimes even needed in Aquellia, much to the Aquellian weather team's chagrin.

    Her hobbies are painting, drawing, and talking to her friends. She is easily annoyed and a perfectionist, but is likeable as long as you don't

    get on her bad side.

    I'm somewhat interested. I have a pegasus filly who I kind of have trouble finding good places to RP as. Sending her to flight camp might be fun.

    I'd also consider having Gilda sign up as a teacher, but I'm not entirely sure she's responsible enough for something like that... :blush:

    I'm not too sure about Gilda too, but PM me with the sign-up form for the filly if you're interested ^_^

    I am intrigued, do elaborate. Is there a specific story line or plot for characters to discover, or is it more of a spontaneous free for all?

    It's more of a free-for-all, however, there will be events such as races and lessons, which you must participate in (unless you are not there to RP, or your character is skipping it for whatever reason.). Also, at the end (I will decide when),

    everyone gets a flight camp certificate saying whether they passed or failed. (You decide.), which you can mention in other RPs.

    As far as I know there are three (3) bronies in my school.

    Brony 1: Me

    Brony 2: Somepony else who made a Derpy Hooves teamwork is magic poster (I only know what her name is)

    Brony 3: Somepony who is really ANNOYING and inappropriate, especially now that she knows I'm a brony. She's kinda cool when she's not being innapropriate or annoying though. And she starts singing the MLP theme song when I'm talking to her, which is a problem because I am a stable brony and I plan to stay that way.

    The brony community at my school sucks.

    You are SO lucky.

    Oh, and some people in my class sing "My Little Pony, Skinny And Bony.

    So it's not as if nothing will happen if everypony who's not a brony finds out I am a pegasister.

    No, you don't need to. I will translate it and add several comments if I'm not sure with one part or if there is something that can't be translated due to the meaning of a word. (One example would be "catch up" and "Ketchup", this can't be translated accurately.)

    Motivation: Writing. She hopes to one day publish a novel.

    Character Summary: Inkblot was named for her skill, not for her color. She is good at writing and wants to publish a book. Inkblot is not as active as most pegasi, and her weight sometimes makes it hard to get around. She is from a suburb in Fillydelphia, but her family moved to Cloudsdale when she was a young foal. Inkblot has been overweight since she was a very young foal as a result of too many snacks, Joe's donuts, junk food, and an misguided mother who thinks that Inkblot should eat as much food as possible (her mother thinks it will make her strong. So far, she's wrong.)

    One day when she was lying on a cloud boredly, she had a sudden flash of inspiration. She went home and wrote about it, and showed it to her parents. Her parents suggested that she show it to her teacher, and her teacher suggested that she show it to her class. Almost everyone liked her story, and at that moment her cutie mark appeared.

    Her dream since she got her cutie mark has been to be a famous author, and to publish a series of books. When she's not writing, she likes building models and imagining worlds for her stories to be set in. She is introverted and a bit shy, and is cautious about trying anything new. She blames her mom for her weight; however she does not want to do anything about it, whereas her mom does.

    She does not have many friends at school, and she is terrible at almost every subject except Language Arts, where she excels. Her teachers often tell her to 'push harder', and when she can't, she gets depressed, and it gets in the way of her writing. Her dad is an important weatherpony, who choreographs the weather and decides what will happen. He is often off on the job, so Inkblot doesn't really know him, even though he is her father.

    When she's not writing, her hobbies are building models, reading, figuring out uses for clouds, and helping the weatherponies make it snow and rain by jumping on the clouds (and pranking people by moving a snow cloud so it's above somepony and jumping on it in the middle of summer).
