  1. "You're quite welcome, it's always nice to meet new ponies." Chiselle took another bite of her toast, "So...what is Hoofington like?"
  2. "Sunny side up it is then." Chiselle moved the egg around in the skillet. "Me, I've always lived in Canterlot. Once or twice I think about moving to a smaller, more intimate town, but Canterlot does have it's pluses. It has some of the most beautiful artwork, sculptures, and history. It also has a very vibrant art community. Although it does have it's downside, mainly the high class snooty ponies, which I don't really care to interact with." After the last sentence, Chiselle slide the eggs onto the plate alongside the toast. The artist then levitated the entire plate over to the table and sat it in front of Shinygear. "Your breakfast, my good sir." She commented in a proper tone before sitting. The gray pony then sat down in front of her plate and was finally able to take a bite of her french toast.
  3. "Well that must be a very useful talent." Chiselle commented as she slid four pieces of french toast onto the plate. She then used her magic to levitate a couple of eggs and cracked them into a skillet. "How do you want your eggs?" She asked. "Also, are you from Canterlot, or somewhere else?"
  4. I love days off, I get to sleep in! :D

  5. Well the portal opens every thirty moons, so that's roughly 2.3 years. Maybe the next time the portal opens, Flash Sentry will have a personality?
  6. I don't support Flashlight simply because as of right now, Flash Sentry is nothing more than a plot device. He has no personality to speak of and his only role was to play as the "love interest". Maybe once DHX decides to give him a personality beyond "Tall, Dark and Handsome for Twilight to drool over", I'll support Flashlight. Until then...
  7. Flipping the piece of bread on the frying pan, "Yep, I can sculpt anything using wood, stone and clay. What about you? What's your special talent?"
  8. First off, I am a huge horror fan, and Amityville was probably one of the first horror film I've watched as a kid. I saw both the James Brolin version and the 2005 remake, both of them had their own strong points. So when I heard that Danny Lutz, one of George's stepson was making his own Amityville movie, I was kinda excited. It was apparently going to be this indie film that would only be shown in select theaters and then put on Netflix. I caught the movie on Netflix (because I missed the date it was showing in theaters near here), and honestly I'm kinda glad I didn't catch it in theaters. The movie was an hour and forty minutes of Daniel bashing George Lutz, calling him a horrible father, saying that he was in Satanic worship, etc. etc. Danny often came off as hostile, vulgar and honestly he came off as very disturbed. It was less about the 28 days the family spent in the house and more about how Danny came to hate his parents (both stepfather and mother) and what his life was after becoming associated with the house at 112 Ocean Ave. I mean he does reaffirm George's story about the demonic presence in the house, of the black ooze, pig eyes, etc. etc. However that only took up maybe...30 or so odd minutes of the movie. In short, the movie was less about the 28 days from Danny's eyes and more about Danny being a mentally damaged 40 some odd year old man who hates George Lutz and should probably seek some serious therapy. 2 stars out of 5.
  9. Chiselle led the young stallion up the stairs to her living quarters. "I already made breakfast for me, but give me a few minutes and I'll have a hot plate set up for you." The gray mare opened up a cabinet and pulled out a plate along with a mug and silverware. She then levitated the frying pan back into her stove, poured in some eggs, butter and cinnamon into the pan and waited for it to simmer. "I still have some coffee left in the pot, the sugar and cream is next to the coffee maker." She instructed while using one forehoof to point to the coffee maker. "What's your name anyways? Mine is Chiselle."
  10. 'Hmm...well it would be rude for me to ask this pony to come back later, plus I really could use a sale.' Chiselle opened up her door to let the new stallion in, "Well I don't open up for another thirty minutes and I was just about to eat breakfast when you rang my doorbell. However, I've always extended my hospitality to other ponies, so why don't you join me for breakfast and we can talk until it's time for me to open? I'm having french toast, eggs and coffee if that's okay." The gray mare then looked intently at the new pony, "You're not the Hash Slinging Slasher are you?" Her eyes narrowed before a smirk grew on her face as she let a chuckle out.
  11. Plates of french toast, eggs, a mug full of coffee which was loaded down in sugar were floated from the kitchen's counter over to the nearby dining room table. Chiselle then walked over to the door which lead to the stairwell down to her shop. The small pony picked up the morning's edition of "The Artiste", a newspaper for Canterlot's artist. She then turned around, headed back to the table and plopped her haunch down at the table. The spread before her look so inviting and mouth watering, her pupils widen. "Well, no sense in waiting." she happily chirped to herself. Just as the fork was about to stab the first piece of french toast, the doorbell rang. The gray mare dropped her fork and looked at the door. "Oh come on!" She exclaimed. "I'm not even opened for another thirty minutes!" With a huff, Chiselle used her magic to picked up her flannel shirt from the living room's couch and trotted to the door and down the stairs. By the time she reached the landing, her flannel shirt was buttoned up and the sculptress had a smile on her face. The mare unlocked the deadbolt with her magic and opened up the door to reveal a red pony with light green eyes and light brown mane and tail. "Hello, welcome to 'Chip Off The Block', she began, "My name is Chiselle, the artist and owner of this fine establishment. How may I help you this morning?"
  12. The sound of bad, horrible, off key singing could be heard throughout the shop of a particular gray pony as she sang into her shower head, Chiselle ended the song with a high pitch finish as she levitated the device over her own head. Steam filled up the bathroom as she quickly scrubbed every inch of her small frame with a rag and a bar of soap. After five minutes in the shower, she quickly grabbed a towel from a nearby rack and hastily dried herself off. Stepping out of the shower and in front of a sink and mirror, the pony quickly levitated a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mane brush and set to work grooming herself. "Eight, nine, and ten!" she quickly counted off before setting down the mane brush. 'I still don't see the point of 100 brush strokes.' the green eyed mare thought to herself. After she brushed her teeth, the most important decision soon arrived. Opening the cabinet that rested behind the mirror, she pulled out a blue box and opened it up. There, several earrings of various shapes, sizes, and style laid in front of her. "Hmm...what am I in the mood for today?" Her eyes quickly darted back and forth before she saw a small black earring with a spike on one end. "Ah ha! There we go!" she exclaimed. The small mare placed the box back in the cabinet, closed the mirror and trotted down the hall towards the kitchen. With a quick will of her magic she opened up a cupboard above and to the right of the sink and pulled out a tin of grounded coffee and a mug. She placed the items down beside the coffee maker before pulling the pot out and giving it a quick inspection. "Clean, well that's good." she commented to herself as she ran the pot under the water tap and began pouring hot water into the pot. Within a few minutes she not only had coffee going, but french toast and eggs as well. As far as mornings went, this was very typical and routine for the sculptress.
  13. Well, as long as we keep the majority of the writers that the show started out with, we should be fine. I know we brought on four more writers, hopefully the veterans will show them the ropes.
  14. So I got my OC Chiselle approved for RPing in "World of Equestria"...now what? I'm kinda lost because there's just so many RP threads! Usually I try to find an OOC/Sign up thread, sign up for the RP and then try to work my OC into the current story arc (whichever that may be) and go from there. Do...do I do the same thing here, or would it be better if I start my own RP thread?
  15. I don't think Derpy is actually mentally retarded, I think she's just a carefree yet clumsy mare and I'm actually kinda annoyed that the fandom made her mentally retarded just because she has weird eyes. I'm also a Huge Princess Luna fan (I like to call myself a Lunatic) but I don't do the whole "New Lunar Republic/Solar Empire" ****. The Royal Sisters both clearly love one another and support each other and would never go to war for control of Equestria.
  16. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Chiselle Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Eye colour: Chiselle also has the most expressive green eyes, you can often tell what her mood is by looking at her eyes. Coat: Gray Mane/Tail: A stripe of dark blue going down the left side of an otherwise black mane, her tail is completely black. Physique: A small but healthy sized pony she has great stamina which allows her to work on her art for several hours without stopping. Residence: Canterlot Occupation: Sculptress Cutie Mark: A wooden mallet & Chisel in a criss-cross formation History: Chiselle is a unicorn mare who was born and grew up in Canterlot. Her father is a drummer of a band who tours Equestria quite often. Her mother is a mid-level manager at a company in Canterlot. No one is quite sure what she does exactly. She discovered her special talent at a young age when she took a bunch of play-doh and sculpted them into a scale model of her home. Since then her father had encouraged her to pursue the arts. He even brought her, her first sculpting tools. Her mother on the other hand tried to encourage her to go into architect, since it provided a more stable career path. However, after winning several awards for her sculptures and managing to get into several Summer Art program, Chiselle showed to her mother that she was able to make it as a sculptress. She currently resides in Canterlot in a two story building. The lower story holds her shop and work station, the upper story holds her housing quarters. Character Summary: Her hobbies include studying Equestria’s history as well as going to the very different kind of museums. She also enjoys going for walks in nature on a sunny day. Sometimes she’d just like to relax by a warm fire and sip red wine and just relax. She also enjoys sketching with crayons. While she isn't as proficient at sketching as she is with sculpting, she still uses it to relax and plan her next sculpting. Chiselle is single, she says she prefer stallions, but the truth is that she never been on a date with anypony before so she doesn’t know what she prefers. However, that sit fine with her as dating and relationship isn’t that high on her list of priorities. However, she does realize that she can’t date another artist. The personalities would be too similar and they would get into fights. If she was going to be in a relationship with another pony, it would have to be a pony that could balance her out so that both of them are working together in harmony. Chiselle is somewhat outgoing, she isn’t your normal chipper happy-go-luck pony, but she is happy in her own way. She doesn’t mind socializing with other ponies and always welcome the company of ponies that she feels like she can connect with. When it comes to her art, Chiselle is dedicated and it becomes almost impossible to distract her when she’s on a project, there could be a stampede running through the town and she wouldn’t notice. She is also willing to do whatever she can for her family and friends. However, outside of her art, family and friends, she is a lazy pony, as evident by her C average report cards. While she is able to express herself emotionally, she isn’t too off the wall with it, only in moments that calls for great emotions will usually call for great emotions. You can usually tell when she’s happy, sad, mad, but it’s expressed in moderation. While Chiselle is open to new experience and is willing to face whatever life has to throw at her with a positive outlook, she won’t hesitate to make fun of the stupidity that ultimately comes her way. She is an extrovert, always willing to talk to other ponies, as she need to be in order to do odd jobs around town. Since her art career isn’t exactly paying the bills, she decided to do odd jobs for other ponies. This lend her a comfortable lifestyle and a small amount of wealth. Chiselle does have a strong sense of moral and pride, she always believe in doing right by other ponies as she’d want other ponies to do right by her. Chiselle is a honest pony, but the level of honesty varies depending on the circumstances. If it comes to friends or family she’d most likely try to soften the blow. However if it’s somepony she doesn’t like or rubbed her the wrong way, she’ll let out the hard and honest truth regardless of their feelings. She will often try to get back at any pony that wrongs her, and most often she’ll try to find creative ways to get back at them. While she does do whatever she can for her family and friends, she does have some limits, if she finds the request degrading or offensive, she will turn it down no question asked. She will also let the pony know that she finds the request offensive or degrading. Chiselle could be described as a Libertarian, she wants to be able to have the rights to pursue her own dreams of being able to live fully off of her own art, and she love to have the right to live her own life as she sees fit, but she also doesn’t care what other ponies do in the privacy of their own home Chiselle has no problem with physical contact and will often give other ponies a high-five, a playful shove or sometimes a hug or a pat on the back. She can also pick up on the feelings of other ponies and plan her own reaction accordingly. Sometimes a pony doesn’t like physical contact and that’s okay. Chiselle does show sign of affection through her art as well as through her words and body language. She will sometimes craft something small and meaningful as a gift to another pony to show appreciation or affection. She will sometimes express it through words or through hugging, holding of hooves etc. Given that she was a C average student, she has trouble understanding anything advanced in subject other than art, so sometimes other ponies will have to do a step-by-step guide for her, which can be a source of embarrassment for her as it tends to make her feel stupid, however her determination to learn the new material is unmatched. While she is able to maintain a calm demeanor most of the time, she can be pushed to the edge, when that happens she will either scream and yell, or she will break down and cry, depending on the situation. However she will never allow herself to cry in public, she will most often walk off to cry in private.
  17. I'm surprised Dudebro was able to stay at the Con, I saw him on "Who's Line Is it Anypony?" and I think he was one of the staff members screening questions for the Writers panel. Ah well, I doubt Dudebro will be invited back for 2014. As for the jumping and dubstep, the numbers they said at the closing ceremony was 1.6 on the richer scale, so go bronies! Also, 8,407 bronies attended the con, 100% more than 2012. Here's hoping in 2014 we see at least 12,000 if not 16,000 bronies!
  18. I like the Season 2 form because she looks like a mare in Season 2 and 3. In season 1, she still looks like a filly. I just find the mare form to be more beautiful. I just wish the Season 2 mane would translate into plushies and figurines. It's kinda hard to do the mane of the Royal Sisters in 3D.
  19. I liked the "Dream Girl" shirt. 'tis funny because she literally is a dream girl.
  20. Agreed! I loved Snowdrop! Soooo many feels! Also Button's Adventure made me laugh, especially when his toy train just exploded out of nowhere.
