  7. Flu Shot was a little shocked at the sudden assistance from two random passerby. It wasn't necessarily good judgement to wander up to random ponies in the wastes and start small talk. More often than not it would probably get you killed. It also struck him as even funnier to do this to somepony who was fighting off a swarm of Bloodwings, wielding a gatling gun, and swinging around a bloody sledgehammer. In fact he found it a little aggravating, he didn't want to feel responsible if these two died horribly at the hands- no, wings of these things. He'd sure as hay fight to protect them, even if they were acting a little strange. Briefly shooting at a swooping Bloodwing (which only seemed to ward it off for a moment) the medic turned to this crazy buck. "What the hay are you two doing out here? Get to safety!" He shouted, ignoring the Stallion's questions and giving him a bit of a shove towards a nearby house. Yeah, not really good with people this one. It's not like he wasn't thankful for help, it's just that all that thankfulness was buried under survival instincts, anger, focus, and another layer of anger. Ugh, just my luck. Flu thought to himself before letting go another short burst of bullets and missing the agile bats by a hair Darn things just stay still!

  10. Ah, what a beautiful day. The sun was shining down on the Forest of Madness, leaves rustled by a soft wind as Peggly-Sus flapped his wings happily. He had just come from a visit to Applestia and his foal mind was currently frolicking in it's brief freedom. No itching in his brain today, no fighting for control with the others. They had been made dormant by Appy's presence and the small pegasus foal could not be happier. That was, until he DID start feeling an itching at the back of his mind. "Oh no, who's that..." he muttered to himself coming to rest on a branch as the feeling grew and grew. He scratched at his head and continued to mutter, something along the lines of "Not today, today I'm me and you guys need to stop it." But the presence surging forward would not stop it, something else was driving it towards prominence. Some new feeling in the forest, a new presence. Within a moment the foal was gone, replaced by a glassy eyed stand-in, a body waiting for a new mind to take over. And after another moment the pegasus took off again, a wide smile plastered across his face. "He's here! He's HERE! He kept saying he'd come eventually, and now HE'S HERE!" The new pegasus was Peggly's imaginative side, though he never knew what to call himself. He was rarely able to seize freedom from the others, unable to forge much of an identity for himself. It always seemed as if he hopped in just before sleep, just in time to talk with that strange entity which promised him identity, but with Imagination's arrival he'd been able to jump forward and steal the day! Peggly flew towards the feeling, towards where he guessed Imagination had appeared. Zipping out of the tree cover and speeding up, he saw a strange fort constructed on the horizon. That was him, Peggly could feel it in his gut. He continued flying as fast as he could, ignoring the ache which settled over his wings and the added effort he needed to breathe. He was too excited to let it bother him. After a few minutes of flight the small child arrived at the pillow fort, no less ecstatic even with the exhaustion. He easily glided down on top of one of the walls, keeping an eye out for Imagination. Now that he had time to think he didn't know if Imagination would even recognize him, even though he'd communicated with Peggly in his dreams. Should he address him as Master, much as the crazy him addressed Fawkes and the Foal addressed Applestia? Maybe he wouldn't even remember talking to him, being the ruler of an alternate world he probably have other things to worry about... he might've only communicated with Peggly out of boredom. Imagination would probably be busy as well. The small pegasus' confidence waned as he continued to wait, but he still needed to find the strange Alicorn. After a little while a stranger stumbled his way through the wall of pillows, the guards promptly surrounding him. He didn't appear to be threatening, and conducted himself with confidence and poise. Peggly watched as he was taken to a seemingly random point in the courtyard, where Imagination appeared out of nowhere and greeted this strange pony. They started chatting, about what was a mystery since their voices were muffled by distance and pillows. Peggly waited a moment before finally deciding to go forward. He might never have a chance like this again, and he could already feel a tiny niggling at the back of his mind that meant the Foal was getting aggravated, though more out of having his day stolen and less his imagination stealing it. The two never argued a lot or attacked one another, but there was still a great suspicion each part of his mind had about the others. Gliding down from his spot he landed next to the group, waiting a brief moment before his excitement came back. "Lord Imagination! You've finally come!" He said, gaining confidence with every word. "Or, would you prefer it if I called you Master? The Foal seems rather attached to that word... he might like it more if I use it."
