I'll throw my vote towards more special event RP's and stuff - it's working well so far on the current one!

Robikku grimaces as he watched Mystery getting splattered quite nastily by rampant potato salad dressing...it seemed that everywhere he went tonight, things were just destined to wind up in some kind of unusual situation, and that was hardly what he'd thought he'd be dealing with when he'd received his ticket. " Oh gosh... " He says, opening one eye after the situation settled...approaching Mystery and suppressing a small chuckle as he looks at both her and the other female with a cautious glance. " Are You okay? " It then occurs to the pegasus that the female was the same one who was looking rather disgruntled earlier, since he hadn't really been aware of her following him to the table before this moment - and it only helped add to the awkwardness of the moment. " So, uh...Is it just me or is it suddenly getting tense in here? "

Robikku couldn't help but feel a tad uneasy about something - he looked over his shoulder and could easily see a very disgruntled pony glaring daggers at him...for a second, he felt he could almost feel a hole being bored into his head just by glancing at her direction. The Pegasus gulps slightly, shaking his head and focusing on getting a few scoopfuls of some of the delicious potato salad, lettuce leaves, various stuffed olives and peppers, along with some various other goodies - the bustling crowd was hard to compete with, but he was doing his best to act calm and collected as he acquired what he believed to be the finest selection he could for both himself and the female. Still, he couldn't help but feel an odd chill from behind him...that pony had given him quite the aggressive stare, and it had made him a little uncomfortable to think that he could have annoyed her so easily. Still for the moment, he focuses on grabbing some last bits and pieces for each of them before returning to the table they were at, giving one last glance at the pony who had glared at him as he did so.

Robikku nods and shakes himself off, still a little dazed from the crash but overly in good spirits... Despite the fact that this hadn't quite been the start to the Gala he'd expected, the Pegasus knew that there was probably still time to make the best of it. " Alright then - I'll be right back...and the names Robikku. Nice to meet you, Mystery! " He says as he glances back at Mystery, with a small playful grin as he heads over towards the buffet table...he did owe the female pony something to eat afterall, and he had no intentions on backing out of doing so, although at least this would allow him a chance to raid the buffet himself and get some decent foods. He wasn't about to get beat to the punch on the good stuff! There were so many good choices that he couldn't help but lick his lips a little in anticipation as he headed over towards the buffet table - nudging his way into the crowd, ignoring the more blatantly disapproving looks of the more high-class ponies whom he was competing with for the food on offer.

Robikku followed after the pony, stretching his wings a little as he tried his best not to trip up over himself on the way to the table that Mystery had chosen. Looking around, he couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by the sheer presence of some of the more 'regal' looking ponies currently nomming at their own buffet choices. The food choces he saw at the buffet were also some of the most impressive he'd seen in quite a while, too. " Geez, this place is stuffed FULL of the rich, famous and hungry - this is definately somethin'! " He muses to himself as he trotted over towards Mystery, giving an impressed whistle before settling at the table and giving a quick amused chuckle. " So, here we are - Good food, nice surroundings and fun times...let's raid the buffet while there's still good stuff going, we'd hate to miss anything REALLY delicious! "

The Pegasus opens his mouth to respond, only to have his own stomach do the answering for him, grumbling loudly in complaint that it had been neglected when there was such good stuff on offer... " Well, I am kind hugry " Robikku mused for a moment as he watches Sunset disappear, a small rolling of the eyes as the impetuous pony raced off into the distance. Such brave proclamations of being the best by those like Sunset were always doomed to disappointment when they discovered the one pegasus who could best them - and whilst Robikku hadn't really beaten Sunset, he hoped that, just perhaps, he'd try not to be so hasty to challenge...although, he chuckled mentally, he probably would do the same in a similar position. " Alright, Missy - I suppose I can accompany you to the buffet for a moment... " he says with a small grin " I owe you a decent plate of food...and I'll quite easily honor that little repayment, no problemo! "

Robikku flapped his wings once, tucking them back again as he glances at the foal with a shake of his head - if this was anything of a lesson, it was that he was NOT here to let himself get goaded into a near-ridiculous race by a younger foal trying to prove himself in a setting that just wasn't suited for such a thing...and it was semi-thanks to the filly before him that he'd been reminded that this wasn't really the place to get caught up in things. " No, sorry kid - Not really my place to be Floatin' about and getting into trouble... " He says with a smirk. " Shame - had it been a few years ago, I probably wouldn't care...but I've gotta stay cool headed for this place, nobody wants to look like a foal in front of the kinds of guests here, or the princess. " " Catch up with me another time, and maybe we'll finish this little game in a better setting " The pegasus grins and shoots the pegasus a small playful wink. "I still think I could take you on anyday! "

Robikku looked sheepishly at her a moment as he wipes off some mayo from his muzzle - he hoped not too many ponies were paying attention to them generally...and fortunately, it seemed as though everypony else was too absorbed in their own activity, and the ponies who HAD been watching were now pretending they hadn't been watching anything or moving out of the area quietly. all in all, it had been a pretty lucky escape from serious embarrassment - although he was already feeling a little red around the edges, so to speak. He shakes himself off briefly and stretches - now satisfied that everything was in place and at least he wasn't all that injured or overly bruised from the unfortunate incident. " Sorry about that. " He says, giving the female a slight polite nod before glancing up at Sunset. " I let somebody get under my skin easily for a second and wound up...well, out here. " He continues a moment as he cleared his throat, now feeling a tad more embarrassed at himself than he had just mere moments ago. " If I can make it up to you somehow, I'll do what I can...although, ya know, I doubt you'd really need anything since it seems everything here is...mostly for free! "

Oh this was what Robikku had wanted...an adrenaline fuelled thrill ride in the clouds, being watched by dozens of ponies as he soared ahead of the pegasi behind him, gleefully smirking before looking up over his shoulder to see where his opponent was...and instead, seeing that Sunset had already caught up just enough to be a problem. Robikku frowned and looked back in front of him to address the situation, diving lower to the ground a little more as he does so in order not to crash into the pony above... ...Only to collide into a pony holding a tray full of food and a bewildered expression on their face! Robikku rolled into a heap with the female pony, the food splattering everywhere around them as his opponent soared overhead without Robikku in front. " Ugh... " The figure of Robikku got up on his feet, a sandwich half dangling on his muzzle, which was quickly shaken off by the slightly agitated flying pony. " ...What the heck just happened? " His eyes settle on the pony whom he had crashed into - raising an eyebrow....tsking loudly. " Let me guess...you weren't watching where you were going - am I right, Miss? "

With the wind in his wings, the pegasus was currently keeping an eye on his opponent - for the most part, they weren't exactly in the way or disturbing the wildlife, but there was a small gathering of ponies watching curiously the small improvised race - they were almost tied, and the Pegasus wasn't about to ease up on the young one right now....not when he knew that they were being watched. He drops altitude a little, hoping to catch a proper wave of air when it came to climbing back up again...the idea, of course, being to gain a little speed that would help put him ahead of the other pony. Finding himself grazing over the tops of hedges and saplings, he smirks as he feels himself accelerate a little more...managing to just about pull ahead of the rather astonished opposing Pegasus nearby. " I'm not gonna lose to some foal with an attitude problem! " He thought to himself, taking care to navigate around the tree coming up in front of him, avoiding any pegasi who may be currently occupying the air. He was coming up onto the next lap now, crossing the line and starting on the next one - if he could keep this up for a little while longer, there was no chance in heck that he could lose to this little trouble maker!

RP's need a little more thought than just "I WIN ALL THE TIME!" - Tone it down, please. This is an RP, not an actual race! }} Robikku grits his teeth and flaps harder as he watches the other Pegasus going at it with all he seemingly had - a small smirk appearing on his features as he narrows his eyes, tucked his head in a little more and let the wind carry him on, the aerodynamics allowing him to catch up to the other pegasus with a little effort... Sure, it was going to leave him pretty damn tired by the end of it, but he resolved to raid the buffet after this...after all, there wasn't anything better after a race than something tasty to eat! However, at this moment in time the only thing he wanted to do was to show this silly little colt that challenging the first pegasus you see at any one time wasn't always the best idea...!

It was quiet in the garden - nothing but a mild hum of a few ponies out and about talking, and the occasional chirp or sqeuak of a resident animal here or there...at least, it was until 2 pegasi arrived! Robikku followed Sunset out into the garden - a little unsure as to why he should race the young and foolish pegasus, yet following the more mischievous and hotheaded side of his own nature...afterall, there was plenty of room out here, and it wouldn't really interfere with anyone out here if they were in the air. However, before he even had taken a moment to even settle down, Sunset took off at an unexpected speed, and Robikku stood there for a second in blank confusion before taking off after the unsportsmanlike pegasus - he didn't intend to just stand there looking like an idiot however, so as soon as he regains his composure the pegasus immediately took off after him, ignoring any odd looks and comments that got thrown their way...he was going to win this thing and prove his point, regardless!

The Pegasus stepped out from the crowd a little anxiously and follows Sunset - what the heck did this kid have to prove that was so desperate for him to ask a pegasus he didn't even know to a race? Robikku knew in the back of his mind that he needed to be prepared for anything...an elaborate trick, or some kind of scam, or maybe just something downright mean - but that competitive need that had been instilled within him since colthood wouldn't let him back out now...his own hotheaded nature had taken hold and was even now making him secretly quite eager to get a chance to show the young colt what he could do. It was silly, and he knew he shouldn't be so easy to jump on anything like this...but hell, it sounded like fun!

The pegasus was somewhat bewildered by a sudden request from an anonymous pony about a race...this was hardly something he'd been used to doing out of the blue, he thought to himself calmly, and it seemed like there was almost no way to just 'get out of it' without having this young colt goad him further. It was one heck of a Dillemma, and the pegasus cleared his throat - a little unsure of just how he should respond to something like this...there wasn't any easy solution. This was going against all his better judgment, and he knew it, but...there was a streak of competitiveness within the Peasus that ran deep back to his days of wishing to have joined the thunderbolts as a colt - and this side of him was going to override all shreds of common sense... " Screw it. " The pegasus said, realising mentally that he could potentially regret this sentence. " I'll take you up on this action, kid...and still be back in time for the best H'ors doeurves in the place! " What harm would a little stress-relieving race before the Gala be anyway?, the Pegasus thought to himself. {{ Going along with it for the moment - if it's argued against by Admin, however, then it's all good. }}

Well, here it was - the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, and Robikku had gotten mixed amongst the throes of the crowds...his ticket nestled cosily in his bag as he enters the hall with every other pony, unicorn and pegasi waiting to get into the deep bowels of the festivities. The pegasus was sporting for the night a very fetching light blue jacket, over a white shirt - wearing a red tie...although he still felt a little awkward in it as he enters the large doors of the main hall. His class had been handed tickets by their tutor, but it wasn't really a class outing so he had gone quietly on his own for the night...it was how he'd preferred to keep it as he wasn't really one to stay too close with his fellow students all that much, and he was more inclined to see what went on here by himself anyway. His main aim for the evening was to see just what kind of legal contacts he could make, maybe catch a glimpse of the wonderbolts, and probably hang out with whoever he found to be interesting at the Gala - he wasn't really sure what more he could want but he figured that he'd work that out for himself later on in the evening if anything really struck him as worth pursuing as an idea. " Geez - everythings so, so... " The pegasus said to himself, looking around at the plush and well furnished surroundings with a sense of awe and wonder. " So GRAND! " He'd never been in the castle grounds before, and this was more than he'd ever expected to see. It would certainly be an honor to be able to speak to the Princesses Luna and Celestia - although Robikku found himself preferring to want to give Luna a hug considering all that he'd heard about her unfortunate history, and her attempts to make amends. of course, he still wanted as much to just say his appreciative thanks to Celestia herself too - it was always an honor for any pony to gain even a moment of her time, and he didn't want to appear like an ingrate in front of royalty! Besides - he wanted tonight to go well...because despite his otherwise lacking ambition in his general agenda of enjoyment for the evening, he still planned to find a way of making it the best night ever!

Robikku Pegasus Invited to the gala, this legal pegasus will wonder and look around so freely, so I surely ponder Who I'll meet and what I'll see. All such opportunities for me Maybe I'll find contacts, maybe even new friends and help advance my Legal career by the end It's gonna be the night of my life...right here at the gala!

I believe the word from Faust herself was along the lines of 'No, it was coincidental' - only with more words.

She's already done a major enough part as it is...she may not be taking an active part anymore, but we've already been told she's contributed a fair amount to the season before leaving - so it's actually likely to be more the 3rd season that may be the most different, if anything.

I agree...far too much panicking, and not enough trust in the team. They've had her input already, so her influence WILL still be felt in the show, one way or another...!

Ace Attorney, Sonic, Blood on the PC, Duke Nukem, Resident Evil, Half Life, the Portal series, and Ghost Trick on the DS {From the creators of Ace Attorney} are all high up there on my absolute LOVE lists. All of these titles make me so damn happy in different ways!

Yup - I'll admit I watch it, and occasionally TNA if I remember...!
