  1. Derpy would become a scholor, combining the philosophies of Socrates, Aristole, and Plato. And...no Cross-Eyes!
  2. I have no intention to greet you, other than be able to post on the other threads. Nah, just kidding. Welcome to the herd!
  3. About myself.: I'm a human and I do the basic stuff. Eat. Sleep. Poop. And watch ponies. How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: Google Search. Whoopie How did you became a fan of FiM?: Watched the series. My one favourite main cast pony?: Twilight Sparkle Let's make this a quick and easy introduction. I am not new to being a brony. In fact, I've been fond of them since my summer vacation, when I had nothing to do. How I came to become a brony was quite simple. I happened to stumble upon the first episode of season 1 while watching videos on youtube. There were no forums, no friends, or letters of recommendation. I just clicked it because I assumed there was nothing better to do. After all, it can't be worse than PopcORN, right? I watched the first five minutes, and I had instantly realized this is not what the My Little Pony franchise normally does. It had an intricate story line, a back story, an introduction to the main character, and how she ties in with the rest of the story. Gone were the days of "accesorizing" and whatnot. I was interested to know more about the legend of Nightmare Moon, and so I continued to watch. Then...came the theme song. GOD, IT WAS HORRIBLE! At least the first time. The first five seconds convinced me that I should close my window immediatley and switch to something else, but then the theme song dropped the chorus and went to a guitar rift, therefore soothing my ears from potiental harm. And so, this was how my experience of watching the first episode was like. By the end of the episode, I was surprised to see how I was left at such a cliffhanger. But, I still had to remember, this is MY LITTLE PONY we were watching here. I went to watch the second episode. Then, the theme song, this time lowering the speakers during the first five seconds. And I came to love the rest of the episode. So, that was the beginning of my road to brony-hood. I didn't bother to read the comments. I just watched throughout the whole day, episode after episode. It was around the 10th episode or so that my dad was about to arrive home. I was desperate to see the other episodes, and throughout a span of 3 or so days, I concluding watching the entire 1st season of the show. And so, that is the story of my conversion to bronyism, bronyhood, brony-blegh whatever. In a way, I was self taught, and I managed to see the hidden motives behind whoever wrote the storyline for the show. Now, as a modern day brony, I rejoice with the other men/teens with each new episode that arrives upon the Youtube shore. A few preferences I have: Favorite Pony: Twilight Sparkle. She was the first pony I was introduced to, and so I came to become attatched to her. While many others prefer Pinkie Pie's randomness, Rainbow Dash's courage, and Fluttershy's charm, I saw Twilight as perhaps the most logical pony of the bunch. In a way, she reflected me in many ways, such as a love for studying and breaking down over the tiniest of things. It wasn't until "Lesson Zero", however that I confirmed that Twilight Sparkle was, indeed, my favorite pony of all time. Although I didn't resort to making people fight over a doll like she did, There were many times that I was overdue for a project or assignment. There were nights where I had virtually no sleep whatsoever, in a mad rush to have an A+ due in time. And so to conclude, Twilight and I have alot in common. Favorite Episode: "Lesson Zero". There is not much to say about this episode, except for the fact that Twilight must be special to have not one, but TWO episodes featuring her going through a "Mental Breakdown". What I like about this episode though, is that it's like "Swarm of the Century" with a backwards plot. While in the latter of the two episodes, Twilight failed to seek advice from the unlikliest of friends, in "Lesson Zero", her friends were the ones who failed to listen to her, which really was an eye-opener. And let's not forget Twilight's pedophile moment. Favorite Line: Twilight Sparkle: "Pinkie Pie, stop giving him cake!" Pinkie Pie: "I'm not giving him cake! I'm assaulting him with cake!" Favorite Song: -From the Show: Cupcakes Song. What's not to love? -Fan-made Song: Avast Fluttershy's Ass. Again, what's not to love? _________________________ Where I stand when it comes to converting people...Well, let's just say I'm the worst Brony Priest ever. I do have two friends who are mildly interested in the series. For one...my god, I had to do the worst things. In short, I convinced one of my friends to watch the show by exclaiming that Pinkie was a druggie, RD was a lesbian, and Rarity a female dog. That convinced him to watch one abridged episode, and that was that. For another friend, I convinced him to watch the Hub while he was recording the next episode of Dragon Ball Z: Kai. Unfortunatley, the channel felt like being a troll and played the episode where Rarity made all the dresses for her friends. And that turned him away from ponies forever. _________________________ And with this, I shall conclude. Feel free to make proper introductions as such.
