Harmonic Dissonance smiled with excitement as her two musical compatriots darted to the stage and summoned her before she could even lift a hoof to make it there herself. She ordered one last shot of whiskey and downed it before heading to the stage. She gave a wink to the mare sitting at the bar.

Shortly after Oil Wells approached her to make conversation, but that didn't really interest her. What did was playing with two talented musicians. She trotted up to the stage, and smiled slyly as she flipped open the piano cover and opened up the back of the grand once again.

She started playing a few notes randomly in complete dissonance to get started. She winked and smiled at Birdy as if to say "Start when you're ready, and I'll follow without fail." She gave a nod to the intrepid bassist, hoping that he'd start with a simple bassline that could be picked up and worked with by all.

Dissy was ready to go wild, and blow the roof off the joint. She hadn't been so fired up in ages. It felt like the first time she ever played the piano, or the first time she played jazz. Energy filled the room. This was going to be a night to remember, and a night that would end with her probably passing out, but she'd enjoy it to the last!

Trekker smiled at Buzz. She wasn't really worried at the situation. Not leaving the forest? She wasn't planning to for another couple of days anyway. Now she had reason to stay even more so. The bugs and Buzz were both intriguing to her. Not only would she not leave, but rather she didn't want to leave! Besides it wasn't her intent to anger any critter, so if it could be made to make amends to the arthropods she'd do what is necessary.

"[colour=#336633]So... no leaving the woods, is that right? Do I have a limit to where in the woods I can go?[/colour]" Trekker asked Buzz. "[colour=#336633]I like to forage for my own food you see. Perhaps I can even prepare something for you![/colour]" Looking at Pocket and his worries she thought of something that might help.

"[colour=#336633]I have angered the bugs, right? Not my pet fox? Because if neither of us can leave, I can perhaps send Chrome here with a letter to Pocket's cousin. She is a very smart fox. I'm sure she'd be up to the task. Normally I use magic to send letters but that usually only works if I know the recipient.[/colour]" Trekker tried her best to make the best of the situation and help Pocket Change out.

"[colour=#336633]As for your invitation to stay here, I'll gladly accept. I rarely turn down an invitation to stay at someone's place, especially someone as interesting as yourself Buzz. Just let me know when I can drop the barrier and I shall,[/colour]" Trekker said in an almost monotone voice, with a gleam of interest.

It was at that moment a courier dropped into the crazy situation that had become of the young colt's cottage. Hopefully he wouldn't be caught up in it as well.

"[colour=#336633]Oh right, and if you need help fixing that new skylight of yours, I'll be happy to help so long as your bugs don't attack me for using unwarranted magic.[/colour]" Trekker gave a smile.

Hey there! Fantastic work on the talent and CM story! The only thing I can see really holding this back is the name.

On the subject of names names... I'm not entirely sure about the ones you've chosen. The first one, Starburst, is already taken by another OC. I do feel there is potential for Nebula Galaxy and perhaps Eight-burst. However, they would need to be tweaked to sound more pony.

Most other ones seem too far out there for pony names. Especially that last one

Looks like you have a pretty good app here! I really like the character.

I just have two concerns...

The first is the name. Ouija just doesn't sound like something you'd hear on MLP:FiM. On top of that it pretty directly references something from our world (ouija board) which is not allowable in WoE.

The other thing is the gravity of her predictions. While having her read fortunes is fine and giving people their horoscopes, you can't suggest that they come true. Basically saying she has that ability allows her some control over other characters and players, which we do not allow in WoE.

But otherwise this really is a fantastic application. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask!

Trekker had traveled to the northern city of Stalliongrad before. As she grew closer to the northern city, she donned her winter coat, and goggles in case she met any inclement weather on the way. She was answering the call for an experienced adventurer from a wealthy mare named "Snowfall." Apparently there was a rare and priceless lost treasure and a pony to be found. To be specific, the ad stated that the trinket was a priceless Aquellian relic that was stolen, and the pony was missing for unknown reasons. Though Trekker normally didn't travel in groups, a positive experience to Unyasi had helped Trekker grow more accustomed to the idea. And besides, if it was tracking, that was something she could do very well with the help of her pet fox Chrome.

The city of Stalliongrad came into view and she knew her journey to meet this employer would be coming to an end, and the real adventure was soon to follow. Trekker levitated the letter she had received from Snowfall from her saddle bag and read it for the location. After asking a pony where she could find the place of residence of Miss Snowfall, they laughed and pointed to a rather large mansion. "[colour=#336633]Well I should have expected that[/colour]" Trekker thought to herself.

Trekker walked up to the large doors and before she could even knock, they opened wide and she was shown in.

There was a few other ponies there already.

[colour=#99CCFF]"Excellent. Please, everyone, do make yourselves comfortable. [/colour][colour=#99CCFF]We can start things off with introductions. Then we will proceed with the meeting that has brought you all here." [/colour]

A REA pony wearing some armour and a wandering detective made their introductions. Trekker wasn't sure what to make of either. The pegasus pony in the armour Fire Walker, seemed a capable adventurer and prepared for anything and very confident. Hopefully she and Trekker wouldn't but heads on what to do, after all formal training and experience based training are rather different. Trekker was competent but had little classical survival training, everything she learned was from Canterlot in the ways of magic. The detective seemed less so. Wondering what good a single detective can do.

Thanks for inviting me on this adventure.[/colour]" As Trekker said that Chrome yelped and jumped as if to announce himself. "[colour=#336633]Oh right, and this is my pet silver fox Chrome, I'm sure he'll be of some great assistance if you are searching for somepony, providing you have a scent sample. But I must ask, your letter and ad were both vague, who and what are we looking for. Unfortunately for me, I've been out of the social loop while I've been on my travels. I heard there was some trinket stolen from some other ponies on the way here, some sort of ruby claw they called it. If it is the Aquellian "ruby claw," I'd be curious how you came across such a trinket. It isn't something that is easily found or acquired with money alone. In any case, my knowledge and abilities are at your disposal... As well as Chrome's.[/colour]" Curious at what she was getting herself into, she asked a few questions of her host. Not that it mattered. She had already agreed to join the expedition, so she would do her best to keep everyone safe and on the right track, as she was employed to.

Alright then, I went and sent Silver Swirl a pm welcoming him to our role play and letting him know about the OOC thread! Also, if I may make a small request, I'd like it if we could keep from posting the actions of any bugs limited to me. It hasn't been a problem yet, but it will make it easier to keep the flow of the role play intact when only I decide if a bug trys to bite somepony on the nose or not. That's alright, right?

Pretty much what Halide and Volt said. There are several universal principles that cannot be ignored. There are many theories to multiverse, multiple timelines, bubble universes, string theory and so forth. In the end they all follow the basic tenants of physics. MLP:FiM does not. But you know what? Let's humor this idea and get theoretical...

So, for argument's sake, let us say that it was possible for there to be different physical principles in an alternate universe. OK! So we now have a universe in which the laws of physics function differently from our own. Now... what about life? Can the same multicellular life still occur? Would it still occur in the same way? While possible, the probability is infinitesimal. We evolved through a very specific set of circumstances, and any life not yet discovered in our universe did the same. All governed by the same physical and chemical principles. Changing any variable of that would change the process of evolution, and thus life itself. Heck, we wouldn't even know if DNA would form in a universe in which the various scientific principles weren't the same. Life on earth occurred because of a set of very specific occurrences happened. And I'm sure the same can be said of anywhere else in the universe, even if it is new life that is not based in the same basic principles as the carbon based life on Earth is.

So even IF by some crazy idea that some other universe exists with a planet like Earth, and physics to match MLP:FiM, the question would become, would life present itself in the same way, if at all? The answer is highly unlikely, near impossible. So while the idea is lovely, I choose to not delude myself.

Turnabout Storm is a brilliant crossover, and a fantastic way to get into FiM!

The personality is a bit short, but honestly, I see that as more of a result of having the areas that would normally be in the personality scattered elsewhere (ie likes/dislikes/flaws/motivation). Because of that I have a solid idea for your character and how they will interact.

There is just ONE small tiny thing preventing me from sending this up for final review by SRPHS...

Alright, so I want to make this clear. This app needs work for WoE. From the content to general length right down to simple proofreading.

If you are sure you want it for WoE, I'll do a full review of it, when you mark this application [Ready] in the title of the app. (Please refer to my previous post on how to do this)

If you want to use the character as is, you can switch this application to FFA and play her without any significant changes.

If you choose WoE I'll do everything I can to get this application ready for Senior Roleplay Helper evaluation.

Hey there! Sorry for taking so long to get to this app! So without further adieu I shall review your app!

Alright! so you have a fairly well written app here! And for some reason I enjoy pyro ponies. Perhaps it is the explosion loving scientist in me.

First thing's first though. Myself and the other RPH team much prefer if users use Rarity's Simply Fabulous Application Form. While it is not a hard and fast requirement, we feel that it works best in creating a well balanced application form!

Next, mentions of the MythPonies have to go unfortunately. As much as I love the Mythbusters, they are too close to the real world. If you want to replace them with an original idea not connected to real life people/shows, that's fine, but they are a crossover element, which we do not allow in apps for World of Equestria.

Other than that... You app just seems a bit short. Your pony is a mare! Surely she did some more stuff than just get into trouble. How did she hone her skills? What did she do for fun as a filly? Did she play with friends? What were her friends reactions to the explosions and such? Go into detail in the history!

In personality, the same can be said, but there is an additional caveat! Aside from being a bit on the short side, there are simply no xBoxes in Equestria. They don't even have television! So that will need to be removed, in addition into going into more detail in her personality. How does she interact with everypony? She seems to disregard safety when it comes to pyrotechnics at times, but does she still care that no one is hurt? Does she ensure everypony is at a safe distance? What else does she do for fun? Does she go out with pony friends?

Really other than removing some IRL references, all you need to do is expand upon this app and give us more detail on your character!
