Interesting, look at all the newer ponies. Unfortunately I'm doubtful that they will withstand Fawkes's deception.

Ooo I had not thought of that angle, and I'm slightly ashamed to admit it! Seeing how different Equestria characters would respond to the galactic conflict, being introduced to the Force, space travel, etc. I suppose now I'll have to decide which of those two angles I'd like to pursue A happy problem to have, to be sure.

The more I think about it the more I feel the OR era could be expanded upon more easily, as has been said. As entertaining as the thought of the Parasprite Wars and the rise of Emperor Discord was, I can still transfer most of the ideas over. Discord can be the immortal Emperor of the Old Republic era, and the crisis of Luna's character can still be represented by the fall and subsequent rebirth of Revan. This also gives me more leeway to focus on background ponies in more prominent roles. To be completely honest, this idea started from seeing the image of Colgate using her magic to flourish a double-bladed lightsaber
Thank you everypony for your assistance in this endeavor! If you have any ideas for ponies as characters, I'm more than willing to entertain them. One aspect of art that I do understand well is that everypony has a unique and therefore helpful perspective, whether they know it or not.

As Lord and Fawkes (of course) mentioned, for swindlers and businessmen the Flim Flam brothers were woefully feeble in their confidence and perception of the situation. It didn't matter that the cider they produced for the competition was terrible, quality wasn't mentioned in the contest stipulations. They had won the farm, they merely had to restore the original settings and make cider for everypony. Of course there was never much of a true comparison between the two ciders as far as taste went, so I assume if they'd gone that route the "love and care" Apple family cider would have still won out. That was just a glaring flaw in the brothers to me.

I was planning on more serious with maybe a few comical moments. Similar to a more serious LEGO Star Wars feel, as it were.

Fuming right now. What kind of person invites me out then brings along a friend who pitches life insurance to me for the first twenty minutes? I also imagined I'd be eating something a little better than a burger place... Then I get stopped by a less fortunate man wanting money, which I was happy to give him my change, but he was rather filthy and I'm a bit germophobic... An unfortunate night.

Farewell for now, I have a looming dinner engagement for which I must depart. Nurture that tiniest seed of doubt within your soul, draconequus. I shall return

Awww.....Fawkes wuvs Appy
Most interesting, to be sure. Although none too surprising. Fawkes longs for the challenge of Applestia, though he has already mentioned this jokingly before. You cannot lie to me Fawkes.

Ahhhhh!
Aria PM'd Conor, now did she?
THAT, more than anything else, REGARDLESS of what you said IN said PM, implies that Aria was worried that there was a chance that Conor WAS leaving.
Aria wouldn't have PM'd Conor, trying to console him, if she truly thought he was just bluffing~
Silly, Pinkie~
Oh do try to be less predictable, Fawkes. I've been waiting with a response to this particular accusation ever since I posted the quote Since when did covering all of one's bases, regardless of how fervently I believe something to be true, become bad practice? All I hear is jealousy in the fact that you don't receive blue-toned pm's yourself

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS PONY DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
xDDD
Silly, silly Pinkie~
This game ain't for foals.
I still love ya, though~
Did I now, my dear Fawkes?

Oh Conor, you and I both know you aren't leaving I wouldn't worry about what was said today if it truly bothers you, they don't mean any of it. Do you honestly think Fawkes or Angie would sit there and type out those words with the express intent to make you sad or cause you harm? After all, you're well-loved here
Note the timestamp, my draconequus companion. There are no foals here.

Apparently a fair few.

And there was darkness. Your realm is crumbling beneath you Fawkes, fix it
-
Hm, such strife and discord. My apologies, everypony. Oh and Fawkes... you hold no power at my tea table.
-
Ahem, Conor and I were having tea Fawkes. Please don't interrupt, but you are more than welcome to join us
-
a tad late, but I found it >:^D
page 913
Your devotion is admirable, Angie. I'd figured you'd be the one to find it
-
I'm led to believe that Aria is now Pinkie's writing persona :I
I'm unknowable, Fawkes...
*Pulls Conor into a seat with tea* It's impolite to leave before we're finished

My my! Look at all this! One flashpoint and I come back to an admittedly somewhat heated discussion The easy way would have been clicking on display name history on my profile Nice to know I was missed Sulvuss
-
Apparently you're many things, Tenkan
-
It would be my pleasure to have you join me Conor
-
Apparently I'm several ponies at once. It would be an interesting power to have, to be sure Would you like some moonblossom tea, Fawkes?
-
Art thou upset, Fawkes?
-
Do you? I find it more rewarding to let everypony reach their conclusions through their own deductions

There are those who would decry your claims of power, Fawkes. For us personally, I like to think of it as amiable opposition Though I fear for the newer ponies who may be unaware of what they're galloping into...
