  1. Dat princess Aria flank. I wouldn't know anything about that. :I

Of course not. It's not like it's been rendered and imagined all over or anything.

    I know that feel Aria.

One time in math class I was listening to Balloon Party (we had some free time to work on stuff) and Pinkie Guy's "Loco" came on. Even though I was sorta muttering to myself the kids around me started looking at me weird

    -noms the cupcake and smiles-

    You're a champion Peggly.

  2. Cadence smiled absently as Sweet Surprise shared her confusion, then listened with more rapt attention as the shopkeeper's speel began. Various fudge names were rattled off, each one evocative of a delicious-sounding treat. Tiny drools of desire threatened their way toward her lips, and she instantly quelled the urge. Despite how savory the fudge sounded, such behavior was hardly becoming of a princess... she'd drool over it later in private.

"The daisy fudge sounds amazing!" the princess commented, looking over at the board as her eyes widened with glee. "Actually, all of it does."

A blurted shout caught her off guard and she shied backward, her wings ruffling in surprise. She hardly ever heard her name burst from somepony with such conviction. Looking in the direction of the voice, she found none other than Duke Polaris once again, a look of extreme embarrassment on his features. Shortly afterward he seemed to admonish himself and added "Princess," explaining how he had been blinded before apologizing. Cadence's brow furrowed as she tried to follow his explanation, until realization dawned on her about the pink fudge and the stallion's reaction.

Laughter burbled forth from her chest until she couldn't contain it and let it ring out, high and clear as a bell. The thought that such a refined pony would call her both delicious and other food-related adjectives literally tickled the alicorn pink, as she became flushed from her mirth. After wiping tears from the corners of her eyes, Cadence trotted forward to stop a respectable distance from her noble friend.

"Duke Polaris," she cooed genially, "there is absolutely for which you need to apologize. If anything, I should thank you for such a fun mistake! It's a pleasure to see you again, really," she added, her eyes sparkling with the remnants of her amusement as well as sincerity.

  3. Colgate trotted happily along beside Saw Bones, admiring the various storefronts as they passed. Confectionaries, restaurants, outfitters, Canterlot really had it all! And the air was so breezy at this height, much more so than down below in her home. The cool air kissed her mane and ruffled it, warping it into a tangle of periwinkle and blue starbursts before it settled back into place. Definitely more breezy.

As they reached the square the dentist instantly found the museum, its tall yet older structural style setting it apart from the buildings around it. It was definitely something to behold as she was led inside. Things were no different once she was out of the sun, as now there were all sorts of exhibits and artifacts to glance as while they trotted by. Despite herself, Colgate found that she had cantered over to examine a vase in more detail, her eyes roaming over every little imperfection or design. In a way, she still missed being out in the world.

She quickly galloped to catch up with Saw Bones however, as she was certain she'd get lost in the museum's labyrinthine hallways without his guidance. Wonders of the World, Great Pony Achievements, Ancient History... Soon enough they came to his office, and Colgate's eyes shone when she saw all the old guides and maps.

"Don't mind if I do!" she squealed when her companion offered to let her look at them, as she'd already levitated several maps in the air and buried her nose in them.

  4. so.... whats goin' on everypony?

Learning how to meditate and eat even healthier. Gotta lower my prehypertension alongside my new exercising.

blah, it's gonna be a slow day for Angie

she tried drawin', but she's not in the mood today 'cause she didn't get any sleep last night XP

    and that's what's new with Angie :3

So what's new with Angie is that nothing is new?

  5. I find Facebook to be kind of janky. It's useful, but not that useful.

Dairy Queen -- I met a dairy scientist yesterday! We had a rousing chit chat about the foaming qualities of heat-treated cream products. Exciting! He also knew that horse milk is 6.8% sugar (cow is 4.6%). Who else would know that!?

Pinkie Pie milk is sweeter! :-o

Ok the edit is what made me hrrrk a little.

  6. Cadence chuckled at Sweet's description of the situation.

"I'm fine, just enjoying the day," she replied, looking more closely at the fudge. "I'd say you defnitely overstocked. I'd ask how you managed to do such a thing, but then you wouldn't be having this great sale now would you?"

Her attention was quickly grabbed by the arrival of not only just Timid Star, but Polaris shortly afterward. Two more faces from the CRPR event, how coincidental! The colt greeted her before speaking with Sweet Surprise, to which she inclined her head in return.

"That I am, this deal looked too good to pass up. But I can't seem to find the pink fudge Polaris is talking about," she added in a whisper, looking around. "I don't even think it exists."

After shaking her head with a benign smile, the princess moved further into the store to look at the other confections, occasionally leaning in to see whether or not another sugary treat would go well with the fudge. Of course so many sweet things could lead to a few problems, but who was to say that she couldn't store them for later back at Castle Canterlot? The cooks were amazing at seven-course dinners, which always left Cadence on her knees and full to bursting, but their desserts were a bit... lacking. She was hoping to fix that here, at least for a short while.
