  1. I didn't expect a good movie. I really didn't. I expected a laughably bad movie. But no, it was a lot of fun. Overall, a 9/10. ... Also, just clarifying, the reason the crown couldn't be requested from Twilight or Sunset Shimmer was because the crown was an exact replica of the crown used in the school princess competition. The crown Sunset Shimmer swapped with Twilight's was the original from the school. This is why Celestia expresses confusion in having it found in the courtyard. Now, why Sunset couldn't just steal it again is beyond me, but there ya go. Widespread "plothole" somewhat resolved.
  2. "Ergh..." He gave look of annoyance. No one had ever asked him about it before... he assumed he would mot be approached about it. He sighed in defeat a few moments later, using a hoof to remove the cloth, revealing an empty, black blank flank. "... I have no special talent. You were right." , he said with exasperation, leaving it only at that, allowing further response.
  3. Pitch froze in absolute horror as Applejack made her assertion. She was spot-on, certainly. But... how did she know? Full-grown blank flanks are so uncommon the possibility is almost never considered. Now, as easy as it would be to simply be respobsible and call the assertion correct, the last thing Pitch needs is another year back in Canterlot High. "Listen, I'd love to talk about my Cutie Mark as much as the next pony, but... I really need to get going. Apples are a'waitin'! Haha..." He attempted to trot away a little more hastily now.
  4. "Ahahahaha... thanks", Pitch replied, using the colt's support to stand, relieved he was uncaught. "... Well, I'm really sorry for bothering you two. I'll go get those apples and you can get back to... whatever it is you were doing." He carefully brushed his tail along his cloth, to ensure it was there in the right position. Relieved it was, he went to trot off...
  5. Sheepishly moving a hoof to the side of his head with a shy sweat, Pitch replied, "Hey, I look like a mare and play video games. At least you're useful for something." "... Well, in amy case, um... thank you for helping out my legs... ... Guess I better get to kicking out with hind-legs out some apples then."
  6. He gave a sigh of relief as the stinging began to subside, even if not yet entirely. Looking at Flashbomb, he asked, "Umm... How about you? What's your special talent?"
  7. ... Well, that escalated quickly. "Oh... um... video games! I'm good at sitting down and playing those games at the arcade! ... Not a wonderful talent, but hey!" He sheepishly smiled. He wasn't ENTIRELY lying. His hooves were great on the joystick and he always had a quarter to spare... maybe he could bluff it.
  8. "Gnngh..." He gave a noticeable recoil toward the feeling of the ointment on his scrapes. But, he knew they would help, so he didn't complain "Ah... well... My name is Pitch Light. I'm... I'm actually a boy, despite how I look..." Yes, he jumped righr into that one with little hesitation, but he had to get it out of the way. Last thing he wanted was to end up in another dress. "So... how about you...?" He looked back at his flank briefly, and noticed the cloth still sat firmly on his flank. Phew. Close one. He looked back and awaired his answer.
  9. "Ah... I don't... ... Thank you..." The colt hadn't been greeted with hospitality in far too long, so he had a hard time turning it down. "Just... just guide me to sitting spot. By a tree or a bench or something. Then you can get back to your activities and not worry about me... agh..."
  10. ((No worries. That IS the intention.)) Pitch took only a few seconds to recover from the fall. "Augh... yes... Yes, I'm alright..." As he stood up with Flash's support, though, he found that the slightest breeze stung the joints of his legs. He carefully peered down, and saw they were red. Looks like he scraped himself ib the fall. ... That was gonna sting for a while. He looked to the ponies who helped him, and said whilst trying to hide the mild pain, "Ah... thank you two... I'm... sorry to have bothered you... Gngh..." With that, he attempted to continue going with that, limping ever so slightly as his legs stung more and more...
  11. Pitch held a sigh as he resumed outside for the day. He always went out to go find an apple tree in the forest. Oh, how he hated labor. But, it was the best way for him to put food on the table without wasting bits. As he trotted forward, he found a few ponies relatively close to him that seemed to be talking and about to run into one another to talk to. Now, Pitch was pretty pathetic socially, holding a mild shyness that made him stutter and sway quite often. He envied these ponies, who were likely far better than socializing than him... ... And then he tripped. He gave out a feminine-sounding yell, and tripped. God, was it unpleasant...
  12. Pitch sighed as his slumber was interrupted by the natural urge to actually wake up. He sighed, as life's reality returned to him like a hoof slammed in his muzzle. He gently but firmly forced himself out of bed, his hooves heavily hitting the wooden floor. He peered over at his grandpony clock. ... Yup. He slept through the morning. Again. Another sigh, as he walked over to the bathroom. Brush teeth and comb mane... Nah, wasn't worth it. Hearts and Hooves day had already passed, and Pitch was adamant on the belief that nopony except Pinkie Pie would even put the slightest bit of interest in him. And even Pinkie only did so as an obligation. After all, not only was he a colt who appeared to be a mare, he was a Blank Flank! Walking by his bathroom, he reached into a nearby dresser and found an old white cloth. Perfect. He set it in a proper position over his blank flank, before putting on his saddlebags, and exiting the door. As he walked through town, he saw many couples stroll by... ... Sigh. ((Leaving Pitch's location open, for the sake of somepony willing to go for him~))
  13. ((Unintentional triple post because scumbag 3DS.))
  14. ((... Well. Over 20 pages in in my very brief absence. No way my character can recover from this. I mean, unless I got somepony to flat-out volunteer to be Pitch's special somepony, I don't think Pitch has any reason to still exist for only 3 days when he's been left out this long. So, this is my official resignation from the RP. Apologies for being so pointless in here, and good luck all~ I wasn't joking about the volunteer thing, by the way. I can always retcon this resignation post.))

  16. ... Well, regardless of answer, Pitch had nowhere else to go except home, and... well, he's already come this far, it only made sense to continue trying to make friends. So, he simply silently resumed following. ((The song was awesome, Lovinity~))
  17. "... Hang on", Pitch said, going over to the ponies... and Discord. "Can I come along too?"
  18. "Me? Ah... I-I really don't think you need to worry about me..." "Eh? Lovinity? Wh-Where'd ya go? Why'd you disappear like that?" ... And then an ordinary-for-him feeling of awkwardness hit as he realized nopony was there. He tried to worry, and he did, but... "... Yeah. Sure." To get a date today would be pretty much impossible, and consideeing it was THE night for the dance, and he still had no special somepony. Yeah, Pinkie's words felt pretty silly at the moment.
  19. Pitch gave an uneasy hoofs-up, before setting his flank on the ground, watching the transfer.
  20. "..." Pitch looked at the ground for a few more moments, seeming not to look as sad. He then suddenly chanfed to having a gentle smile, and looked at Lovinity. "... Thanks. I appreciate it." "But like I said, I don't know anypony around here, and I'm way too awkward to approach some random pony and hug them. I do wish I could help, but I really can't."
  21. Pitch looked down at the ground as he was dismissed from the event. He felt bad he couldn't help everypony be happy, but what could he do? He knew nopony! How could he offer love to others when ponies would never give it to him anyway? "Good luck...", said Pitch in a disheartened tone to Pinkie and Lovinity.
  22. "Uh... I don't actually know anypony around here... How would I know who to hug? (Plus there's the fact that nopony'd hug a weird ol' awkward blank flank like me, but I'll leave those self-esteem issues to myself...)
  23. Pitch looked a little confused. "Waitaminute, how does this work? How do we use this magic? And on whom?"
  24. "W-well... sure, I guess." Trutg be told, Pitch never was too fond of H&H day. It always reminded him of all the years he was picked on for not having a special somepony on the day. Still, if he could make a few smiles for others, then why in Tartarus not? Just then, cart! "Whoa! Are you guys okay?"
  25. "...Oh!", Pitch finally spoke, as Lovinity approached. He gently smiled, still unused to all the social interaction. "Hello! Who are you, Ms.?"
