1. Roleplay type: Crossovers Name: Apollo Justice Sex: Male Age: 23 Species: Creature (Human) Physique/hair: Apollo stands approximately 5'5", being bipedal and all. His hair naturally folds downward as normal hair would, but he gels his hair early every morning to give it a triple-spike, which he thinks makes himself look cooler. Residence: Mr. Justice lives in the year 2027, in the mystical, glorious land of Los Angeles. Yes, THAT Los Angeles. Occupation: Apollo Justice: Novice Attorney History: Apollo was born to magician member Thallassa Gramarye, but for unknown reasons, she ended up leaving him in an orphanage while he was still too young to remember his Mother even existed. Despite the inner feeling of abandonment, Apollo remained optimistic through the years, convincing himself full-time that no matter how bad things were, he was fine. During his young life, he found friendship in a young boy his age named Clay Terran. While Apollo aspired to be a lawyer, Clay hoped to become an astronaut, but despite their differing destinies, they became great friends and found a bond only the closest of friends can form. Clay's parents were suddenly killed in a car crash after some time, and Clay was left in Apollo's orphanage. Clay never revealed his feelings to others, but Apollo found Clay one night sobbing outside of the building, mourning the death of his family. Apollo gave him an optimistic view of the situation, telling Clay to convince himself that everything was fine. It worked. Eventually, Apollo did grow up and become a lawyer. His very first case, and he was defending his former idol and inspiration, Phoenix Wright. Apollo pulled through a difficult trial of protecting the disbarred lawyer, only to end up convicting his own boss of the crime. He was left unemployed for a time, before he was called upon once more by Wright for supposedly urgent business. He discovered that the Wright and co. Law Offices had grown into the small-but-prospering "Wright Talent Agency" led by Wright's daughter, Trucy. Through the business and much sidetracking, he became an unofficial member of the newly-renamed "Wright Anything Agency", renamed to accomodate for Apollo's lack of (intentionally) entertaining qualities. A couple cases later, and he eventually helped Phoenix Wright earn his badge back, and the man regained his lawyer status a few months later. A few months after his last case, Apollo was forced into a very sudden murder case when he discovered a dead body at a Yokai festival. Here he meets and takes on a mentor-like role for the newly-recruited Athena Cykes, a very young lawyer with a goal in mind. He helped Athena through her very first case, and at first, things were fine. Unfortunately, a short time later, Apollo comes upon terrible news: Clay Terran had been murdered, and on the very same night Clay was to make his first journey into space, at that. He defended Solomon Starbuck, Clay's mentor, and kept him from taking the fall for Clay's murder. Unfortunately, the courtroom was exploded while he was in it by a bomb leftover from the case as evidence. He could have escaped, but he took serious injuries protecting his friend Juniper Woods from rubble of the explosion. He attempted to defend Juniper despite his injuries, but he pushed himself too hard, eventually collapsing from a re-opened wound. He was forced to sit the case out, leaving Athena and Phoenix to clear Juniper's name in his place. Shortly after the trial, the case of the murder of Clay resumed. Phoenix managed to clear Starbuck's name, but the blame was unfortunately shifted to Athena. Unfortunately, Apollo was unable to work with the others, due to having waning trust in Athena, and believing the case to be a personal matter that he wanted to find his own answers to. He took an official leave of absence from the Anything Agency that day. He went through the case seperate from Phoenix and Athena, finding his own evidence and forming his own conclusions, eventually leading him to testify against Athena in the trial. Fortunately, Phoenix negated Apollo's argument about Athena's possibility in being the murderer, allowing Apollo to regain his trust in her. The blame was soon shifted to the true murderer: An international spy by the name of "The Phantom". This being was revealed to be none other than Detective Fulbright; or at least, a Fulbright imposter. This revelation was followed by a brief recess, where Phoenix successfully convinced Apollo to rejoin the agency. Apollo worked with Phoenix and Athena for the remainder of the trial to convict The Phantom of the crime, at last finding satisfaction in that his best friend's murderer was apprehended at last. Character Summary: At first glance, Apollo seems very goofy, what with his horned hairstyle and his love of the color red. And yes, he has a very (unintentionally) goofy side, what with his desperate attempts to earn respect from others that only result in Polly abuse. He wakes up early every morning not only to gel his hair, but also to "train" his "Chords of Steel" believing that being loud is the key to earning respect. He breaks eardrums as quickly as he breaks any chances of respect. As well, he's somewhat egotistical, having a passive-aggressive overconfidence in his potential to be great. He's also rather childish, admittedly wanting to hold a place of recognition as a lawyer. He was rather ticked off, in fact, when Phoenix made his debut case without him. That said, though, Apollo definitely deserves some respect. He's a very optimistic man with a love of justice and the truth. His motto is "I'm Apollo Justice and I'm fine!", often shortened down simply to "I'm fine!". He is very considerate of the feelings and concerns of others and puts others ahead of himself. Despite his smug view of his abilities as a lawyer, he's very modest in all other aspects of his life, tending to view himself as nothing special, or at least not entertaining.
2. Roleplay Type: Crossovers Name: Crash Bandicoot Sex: Male Age: Older teen... I guess...? Species: Bandicoot Physique/hair: Do NOT use this creature as the basis for understanding the anatomy of an actual bandicoot. Crash stands on two legs, with shorts cut at the bottom, and a pair of gloves (fingerless). He has light orange fur primarily on him, with a lighr yellow strip of fur going all the way up to his nose. He has a brown bush of spiked hair on his head. Residence: Crash tries to live a peaceful life on his Wumpa islands, but always seems to he forced around the world to save it. With ponies around, who knows when he'll be able to relax? Occupation: Crash is a simple bandicoot, and few people even know of his existence. Of course he has no job, unless you consider "world-saviour" a job. History: Created by the nefarious villain Neo Cortex, Crash leaped into action to save his girlfriend when she was designated to be Cortex's next test dummy. Travelong across all of the Wumpa islands, Crash pursued his creator, managing to save his girlfriend. ... She broke up with him shortly afterward. He eventually found his sister, Coco, and they attempted to live peacefully on Wumpa island, but not before Cortex could hop back into action. He grabbed the bandicoot out from his peacrful trek of the Wumpa forests, telling Crash that he desperately needed Crash in order to find the Power Crystals which would allow him to stop am even worse threat. Crash fell for it, of course, but he managed to fix his mistakes and stop Cortex in a jetpack chase through space. Once again trying to live in peace, he is yet again targeted by Cortex, this time with the help of his true master, the embodiment of evil, Uka Uka. Cortex intends to stop Crash by traveling through time and getting the crystals he needs there. Along the way of stopping him, Crash comes across Aku Aku, the good-guy equivalent of Uka Uka... the equal good made to counteract his brother's evil. They and Coco work together to fight a final battle in a space station, where Crash supposedly defeats Cortex and Uka Uka once and for all, their space station exploding and sending the duo into another dimension where Cortex is reverted to a baby. No way to get out was ever explained. ... No worries, they have an unexplained return in Wrath of Cortex and onward. Beyond that, Crash has seen many new adventures, pitting him against all villains who despised him, a pair of intellectual parrots, among others. ... Also, the Titans games haven't happened to this Crash yet. Sorry for the inconvenience. Character Summary: If you look at the Bandicoot, you may see an insane buffoon. Well, you aren't too far off the mark. Crash is not the brightest bulb in the house, or the sharpest tool in the shed, and he isn't exactly sanity-intact. That said, Crash DOES have a solid stance on danger and morals. He fully understands when his world and those he loves are in danger, and is actually quite superb at functioning machinery, even if he's never used the machinery he operates at a single point prior. Crash is more or less silent, excusing minor words, but his actions do indeed speak louder than words. He normally only attacks in jumps, spins, and bodyslams, it's all he needs, because he can get them where it hurts. He's actually a quick and witty thinker (with a slightly twisted sense of humor at times) and can quickly devise strategies to fighting enemies, even if they're simple. His favorite food is Wumpa fruit, but of course he's open to other edibles. One unfortunate downside of Crash is that he has rather poor endurance, being taken down in a single hit on his own. A voodoo mask of Aku Aku allows Crash to handle more, but when he dies, he dies. He's also surprisingly an optimist, trying more to befriend others than fight them, though he won't hesitate to fight back quickly if violence is inevitable. In fact, it has been shown he is not against befriending Cortex; CORTEX, of all people, if he were able. ... Though again, he does have a brutal sense of humor, which can lead to much pain to others around him, though it's mainly only with his enemies. I hope I'm doing this right
3. Hmm... Sonic and MLP. A plot that always has the potential to be good, but normally falls flat. If you actually know what you're doing, I have no problem joining along. I'm very open with my characters, but I'd love to give Amy a try. No particular picks for the pony I choose, I'm pretty versatile on that front.
4. Oh sweet, this place exists. I only really ship pairings that are either cute or work. I have a LONG list of ships, but for MLP, surprisingly few. ... Actually, the only MLP pairings I ship are Flutterdash and Flashlight. ... And I barely ship the latter.
5. Oh, dodgeball, huh? Alright! She looked over at Silverbolt and the team he was forming. He seemed to have all the named characters in the gym now. Shame, but hardly inconvenient. She took a team consisting of unnamed generics so she could form her own team. She stood on the other side, and gave a grin. This was going to be her second won competition. She was certain of it. She crossed her arms and smirked, hoping for yet another challenge.
6. Rainbow looked at Silverbolt. The girl had put up a fight, she had to admit. She hadn't been put to the test like this before. She was actually rather exhausted. Panting and everything. This was going to be an interesting year. She walked over to her newfound rival, still lightly gasping, and put a hand on her shoulder. Hey... *huff* ... Not bad out there.... Your running... *huff* is alright. She gave him a thumbs up. Heck, you were almost a challenge for me. Almost. ... It's a start. Fluttershy, meanwhile, flipped to the page. ... What? I'm too lazy to be expected to say more than that! <<;
7. Pitch watched as others came in, and resumed with talking and such whilst Sir Fancypants spoke his words ever so elegantly in front of the class. ... Pitch actually kinda likes literature, as you can see. Anyway, being in their earshot, he leaned forward, and said, "Hey... do you think you guys could be quiet while the teacher is talking...? It's real disrespectful to talk while he is..." He'd point out Marco, but he knew he couldn't expect something like an ipod to stop being used by a student, and he had learned not to be a snitch and tattle. His missed education was his problem.
8. Pitch sighed as he sat in class. He looked down once more at his apparel. Today, he was wearing a black skirt, sort of the same colour as his skin, matched with a heart set on a portion of the bottom, as well as a slightly-darker-than-his-skin pair of boots. Definitely one of his better agreements. Besides, he was promised enough money for that game he wanted to buy. He wondered why he still received these requests at this point, considering how often he does it. Honestly, it honestly felt... fitting on him, odd as it may sound. Besides, he DID have the general appearance of a female, so anyone who didn't know him likely wouldn't find anything odd about it. He watched as Richard came into the room. As much as he had no animosity toward the boy, he had to admit the boy's smugness did leave a slight negative impression. But, as always, he gave a kind wave as the boy entered, with a kind smile on his face. He paid no attention to the usual whispers and words on the billionaire's son, as he resumed focusing on the usual classwork. His boots lightly tapped on the ground in slight boredom as he resumed his work.
9. I wish this thread had some kind of purpose. ... Ah, fine. I wish all of the main Ace Attorney characters (and Detectives Gumshoe and Ema) post-Apollo Justice were real. And knew me. And were great friends with me. And that Maya loved me. Yes I'm too obsessed with Ace Attorney what's your point
10. ((You're taking a canon character from the DC universe? Really? ... I could take advantage of this being allowed and take a certain magician from a video game I love, but I do need to use my OC more often. Name: Pitch Light Personality: It's hard to find anyone out there who can take abuse so easy as he can, but Pitch is really hard to anger. He has never held a grudge against anyone before and likely will not do so in the future. Due to his feminine looks, he has received many remarks on being more of a girl than a guy but it's never bothered him. Heck, he's been convinced into wearing skirts and dresses on some occassions, just for the satisfaction of those around him. He always greets the people around him with a smile, and will always try to befriend people when he meets them. He's also quite a fanboy, and has grown a heavy admiration for the five remaining who stopped Sunset Shimmer. He avoids Sunset, but has never said anything negative toward her. All this said, he stands strong by his friends and is always quick to step in if his friends are in trouble. I should also add that he has a mild shyness, not normally approaching others until he himself is approached. Bio: When Pitch was young all the way to today, Pitch has always been teased, for various reasons. When he was young it was because he looked like a girl. As he got older it was because he acted like one. There are many who look down on him but he's never been one to return the favour. In fact, as he grew older he decided to humor their accusations of him being feminine, which eventually led to him being so. People always fight in school, and whenever he can, he always steps in and stops it. This has led to him receiving various beatings from school bullies, but he's surprisingly one of the most resilient kids on the schoolgrounds, never ending up standing down or running away, although he does cry quickly. He has always been assigned to groups by default and it normally results in him taking on a majority of the work, but he never minds, as he's always happy to help. Basically, he grew up teased, but never cared. And he likely never will. On another note, he was actually walking by the Canterlot schoolyard when the battle had gone down and grew an immediate respect and admiration for the people involved, even though he doesn't know them. He never told anyone what he saw and knowledge of the event quickly died down, but he still holds high regards to the Canterlot heroes, and he'd love to talk to them if he ever got the chance. Flaws: You will not find anyone as forgiving as Pitch. Issue is, he's TOO forgiving, and he has no issues forgiving someone who beat him up just a few minutes ago. As well, he's very gullible. If you tell him something that isn't too far-fetched and insist on it, he'll very likely believe you. Appearance: First look at Pitch, you'd think he's a fairly pretty tomboy, with his soft, slightly rugged hair, soft black skin, light blue eyes, and his very casual blue jeans and fandom-related T-shirt (except on days where he gets a dare to wear a dress or a skirt). But he's also one of the more feminine people you'll meet. And he's male. Along with the aforementioned apparel he chooses to wear, he's always carrying a plushie on him in some way or another. Which one? It's different every day. Unique trait: He has a natural gift for loving people. Not necessarily romantically, but he loves everyone. How they add depth to the story: His strong care for others makes him a valuable asset to a group of friends with him being the easiest shoulder to cry on and the first one to offer to help people with their problems. But his gullibility makes him very susceptible to making mistakes that could cause some serious problems.
11. My VERY first, I can't say. My father and my uncle are the very reasons I began gaming, and I can hardly remember my first, because I played several different games in my past, some I don't even remember what they were. The games most noteable in my past were Super Smash Bros. (64 and Melee), Donkey Kong 64, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Pokemon Stadium, Super Mario 64, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I think there was another one for the N64, but I don't think it was a very popular game, and I never heard of it past my uncle giving his N64 away. Probably more Gamecube games as well, but no idea. Anyway, sorry I can't pick out one, but there ya go. My earliest remembered games. And just so you all know, I haven't been able to play any of the games from the 64 era since my childhood. Oh the days I miss...
12. ((Oh my Celestia, I SO relate to Time Spinner)) Fluttershy thought on it a bit. "W-well since the only Shakespearean play Somari knows is this one, we could recite Romeo and Juliet..." Rainbow looked beside her at her newfound rival as they were finishing up the race. She had to admit, he was giving her a run for her money. But she wasn't about to lose. Two more laps... by this point, she WAS starting to get tired, but she wasn't backing down. Continuing to push herself, she continued to pick up the pace, doing everything to avoid falling behind.
13. "Oh no you don't!" Dash began to pick up the pace. They were technically neck-and-neck, but she was starting to surpass her competitor. She refused to lose. Failure was not an option.
14. "O-Oh, well, sure, I guess..." "Would that be alright with you... S-Scribble...?"
15. Rainbow got off to her usual excellent start. She started to look behind hrr so she could pity the girl who challenged her... just to have her vision stopped midway. She was keeping up! Finally, a challenge! She grinned at Silver, but quickly turned forward and began to pick up the pace. She wasn't one for going easy on anybody.
16. Rainbow grinned competitively at Silver. "Well, you better give me one heck of a challenge. I've been running my whole life, and just keeping up with me is one pretty risky claim to make..." "Still, I hope you aren't wrong. It's been a while since I had a good challenge around here."
17. Rainbow sharply nudged Blueblood with her elbow. "Keep the insults to yourself, buddy. You and you snobby types couldn't beat those of us who actually use our muscles in a mile-run, anyway. If anything, YOU should be the one outta this." She got down until her hands held her off the ground. She was ready for that "Go!".
18. ((... Well. That completely destroyed any gym class moments. Just saying... ))
19. ((That was Fluttershy's inner monologue. Not a question from me.))
20. "Alright! Looks like I got my work cut out for me today!" She began a wide variety of extensive stretches, ranging from basic touch-your-toes to stretching arms over her head to the other side of her body, to jogging in place, etc. ________________________________________ She gently smiled in response to Steel. "Oh... um, thank you, I guess..." (Isn't Romeo and Juliet a story everyone knows...?)
21. "Y-Yes, Miss Cheerilee. I'll remember that. ... Um, the story is a tragedy written by Shakespeare. It stars a young boy named Romeo, and a younger girl named Juliet. The two have families that despise the others' but they themselves immediately fall in love. While trying to work around this, a series of unfortunate events leads them to die before they can live a life together."
22. ((Note: Rainbow is in gym.)) Fluttershy, who does pay attention during class, quickly replied, "N-No, ma'am. But I don't have anything to say, at the moment..."
23. Fluttershy sat diligently, awaiting further question/direction from Miss Cheerilee. Rainbow Dash, meanwhile, stood restlessly in the gym, impatiently awaiting first excercise. "Hey, teach, what excercises are we gonna do today? I'm gettin' a little tired of waiting..."
24. ((Say, how many pon- er, PEOPLE, are we allowed to claim? Also, Air, I should note that Shakespeare was English [as in, England] and is known worldwide. Just so you know.))
