Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Her mane is all-black and in a short, pixie-cut. Her tail is also all black but long and flowing.

Physique: She's of average weight with just enough muscle in her legs to allow her to keep up with ponies who might try to run away from her. She's a little on the tall side but not by much.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is three questions marks: one big one and two smaller ones. She got her cutie mark very early on from pestering her teacher non-stop with inane questions despite being threatened with detention.

Origin/Residence: Manehattan

Occupation: She works as a writer and reporter for a small-time tabloid newspaper. It doesn't pay very much, but she loves her job.

Motivation: Honeydew strives to find the REAL truth behind absolutely everything in existence. She is convinced that there are things public figures like royalty and various aristocrats are hiding from the common ponies of Equestria. All urban legends have the potential to be true! There are creatures from other worlds! What is the secret behind chocolate milk rain and cotton candy clouds? Are the princesses conducting magical experiments that mutate unsuspecting Equestrians? She'll do just about anything to discover the truth, even if it means making up details as she goes along.

Likes: conspiracy theories, urban legends, myths and creatures that are mythical (by Equestrian standards), coffee, running, exploring, ponies who actually listen to what she has to say

Dislikes: authority figures, any pony that has power over other ponies, ponies who call her crazy to her face, tea (it's basically downgraded coffee to her)

Character Summary: Honeydew grew up in a rural area where she lived with her parents and her lay-about, free-loading uncle. Her parents owned a melon farm which was not very successful, but the family made enough to get by. Honeydew's fascination with conspiracy theories and such came from her uncle who used to tell her fantastic stories about pretty much everything and who, to this day, is very suspicious of Princess Celestia. One day, after hearing her uncle go on and on about the declining quality of education, Honeydew decided to ask her teacher questions, which were actually more accusations about the teacher attempting to brainwash her students and not teaching them the REAL truth about Equestria and where babies come from. It was, then, she developed her cutie mark. This was a turning point in her life because she had never thought to actually disobey an authority figure in her life before. The development of her cutie mark only encouraged her to continue this behavior even when her teacher tried to discourage it by giving her detention and giving a bad report to her parents.

This cutie mark was a little confusing to some ponies, at first, since it didn't seem clear exactly what it could mean other than that Honeydew seemed to have a talent for asking questions. Once Honeydew reached adulthood, she decided that she'd try her luck finding her calling in the city. For a while, she worked as a "newsie" selling newspapers on street corners and such. Eventually, her loud, pushy attitude attracted the attention of a tabloid newspaper who was looking for a reporter, and the rest is history. Honeydew refuses to back down from any challenge, refuses to stop asking questions, and does not seem to be intimidated by anypony or anything. However, her dominating and pushy nature combined with her tendency to spout off-the-wall theories that nopony in their right mind would believe means that she has a lot of difficulties making friends.

So, I guess my roleplay name would be my first character's name, then? When it gets approved, I mean...?

Yes, I know RP means roleplay, but I mean... How do I get an approved roleplay name? How do I know what my roleplay name is? Etc.

Yes, I won't. I enjoy personalizing things. I'm still trying to figure stuff out. Umm... What's RP name mean exactly? (As for my fanfic, I think it will be interesting because I kind of utilize a sort of alternate character interpretation for the character Flam; he's not exactly agreeable with the whole plot Flim and Trixie come up with... But I'll leave it at that)...

I'm not entirely sure. I think I just like the Flim Flam Brothers, in general. They're very sociable, salespeople-like ponies with a bit of snake oil salesman to them... I really like characters like that. And the song is so catchy. I've listened to it a million times now. I think maybe what sets this song apart from other songs is that it's sung by guys, so I think maybe that adds to its appeal. As for my fanfiction, I'm still working on it, but it's going to star the Flim Flam Brothers and the GREAT AND POWERFUL Trixie. Basically, these three meet up and end up plotting to ruin the ponies of Ponyville's reputation all-around in the hopes that this will lead ponies the world over to believe that they were mistaken about the Flim Flam Bros. and Trixie and allow them to continue their ways of life as salespeople and a celebrity magician.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have actually been lurking and looking over all that stuff beforehand, so that I can be up to speed. I definitely don't want to do anything that would displease anyone or anything. Or... uh... anypony. *lol* Going to see if I can get an image up for my avatar thingiemajig... do some more browsing and stuff. Oh, and of course, post here three times. Two down, one to go, right? Yay! I'm on my way to RPing, hopefully!

How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: Well, I was looking around at Flim Flam Brothers-related stuff, and I happened to find a profile that linked to this place, and then I got a little more interested.

How did you became a fan of FiM?: I honestly have no idea. I think there is something inside me (my inner child, maybe) that demands I pay attention to colorful ponies.

My one favourite main cast pony?: Fluttershy
I don't know why I'm doing this, honestly. I never expected to get into the show, you know. I mean, I thought I'd maybe see a few episodes to see what the hype was about... that was maybe... what? A couple of months ago or so? I don't even know, anymore. But I've kept watching, and I'll probably still keep watching. And I didn't expect that to happen. I thought I'd just watch a few episodes and move onto the next thing, but nope. And then, episode 15 happens, and I become absolutely fascinated by the Flim Flam Brothers. So, just tonight, I've been working on a fanfiction. I didn't expect this to happen.

I don't know WHY this is happening. I didn't think I'd actually get involved in the fandom... and now, here I am. For some reason, I think it would be a GREAT idea to participate in a My Little Pony RP. Dearie me... I think I'm completely sucked in at this point, and there's no turning back. *lol*
