  1. It was a simple little trip to Cloudsdale, and hopefully an enjoyable one for Hops. Flying up to the cloud city, the dark caramel pegasus cheerfully set hoof in the fluffy clouds, and looked in wonder at the tiny puffs of cloud rising. It had been a while since the pony had come here, and he was glad to be back!

  2. Ink Soul cringed, and looked at Silver with a pleading look. Please don't lead that thing into town! He opened his mouth, but it felt sticky and dry like honey. He knew he hadn't been feeling well lately, but this wasn't the time for his illness to kick in! The black unicorn tugged himself to a sitting position on Silverbolt's back and lay there, hoping some saliva would cool his throat, which now burned with the combination of shaking and the acidic feeling as sickness started to pull food out of his stomach. Suddenly, Ink Soul thought of something. With great effort, Ink drew a small bottle from his book bag with his magic and drank a little bit. The sticky, burning feeling numbed and he was able to get something out, though hoarse.

"Don't...lure...the hydra...into...town..." One of the affects of the drink was sleep that would help with the pain, and Ink's black head lay on Silver's

  3. Roleplay Type: Crossover

Name: Nexi, full name is Nexilii Vecenda

    Sex: Female

    Age: All grown up!

    Species: Zebra

Eye Color: Nexi is blind, so her eyes are milky white and slowly go to an almost black in the center where her pupils would be. Her left eye is scarred badly.

Coat Color: Like most zebras, it is an almost white with almost black stripes, but her coat is tinged a copper red in spots, probably from small battles.

    Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style:

Physique: Lean and strong from living past the borders of Equestria through the Great Drought that ravaged her land. Her back legs are her strongest limbs after her fore legs, and her right ear is torn. Many small scrapes cover her body.

Cutie Mark: No idea how to explain, but its a scar-like symbol running down a very streaky, tribal bird of prey symbol.

Origin/Residence: From the Outside(the term for any land outside Equestria), and traveled to Appleoosa.

    Occupation: Traveler and Revolutionary

Motivation: Revenge against those who destroyed her life.

    Character Summary:

Nexi lived deep in the Savannah, living a peaceful life. Then, her whole world flopped...a fire destroyed her homeland and left the few zebra's left to the a horrible drought. Many zebras went mad, and would kill to keep a patch of grass. In a time of wild poverty, Nexi formed a small tribe of zebras, and together they survived the drought. As the drought ended, Nexi fought with an enormous hawk creature to save her tribe, and she scarred it from its eye right down to its gullet, but in the fight her left eye was mangled and her other eye went blind. She got her cutie mark in the fight, and fled the Outside as a loner, finding her way to Appleoosa where she now resides.

Nexi is a strong zebra, who would give her life for her friends. But her blindness has held her to nothing more than a figure-head in Appleoosa...a survivor. But slowly she has learned to see without eyes, and hopes to go back to running free. She can fight, but chooses not to, and she can be trusting-that doesn't mean friendly-to most ponies. But this flaw has led to problems, and her openness can be problematic.

  4. Dusk Sky looked at the pony sideways. In all her long years had she ever met such a queer pony. Right after telling so much, the pegasus wanted to silence himself. The earth pony mare made herself comfy and watched as Hops took the bits, nodding his thanks and putting them in a locked box behind the counter. "Ahh...easier for a pegasus to feel those winds. Myself? Always been a tomboy, living of in good ol' Appleoosa. But never was I an adventurer. It was when that ship came, a tourist ship if I remember, and it parked nearby. Many strange ponies came into town, and I went out. I got lost, but bumped into the captain on accident. He was a good man, and he gave me a small ride. It felt right, much like you felt I'm certain. I ran away with him...and only remembered my parents when I had some free time." The sunset yellow pony sniffed, and the wrinkles under her tired old eyes seemed more distinct then ever.

Hops turned to Muffin Top and nodded. "Right away!" Skip-hopping over with a glass, he filled it up and pushed it over to him. "Enjoy!"

  5. Dusk Sky looked surprised as the mare asked to go out into the winds, but nodded. "If thats your wish, then came this way." Dusk showed Gray Shade the special coats for storms such as this, got into one, then went out and took over as she saw her first mate having trouble with keeping the place under control. Shouting orders, soon the only chaos was the storm that threatened to tear the wood of the decks.

  6. The old mare looked up at this new unicorn, who had helped another pony. She would need lots of help... "Oh...maybe a week, but by the smell of it..." She raised her muzzle and sniffed. "Probably a day or two. We should be landing soon." Looking out the window, she saw a small speck of light from the stars through a tiny break, that was then quickly replaced by cloud. "See that tiny break in the clouds?" Dusk directed this at Grey Shade. "That means its night, and the storm is breaking up. Its going to be a nice, though cold and brisk, day tomorrow." The pony trotted over to another pony and helped a stallion find a quiet place to read in this din, then turning and quieting some ponies until the room was only filled with hushed, frightened whispers, and some slightly cheery chatter.

"Well, thats that." The sunset yellow earth pony looked at the light gray unicorn and warmly grinned that old grin of hers. "And you are?"

  7. Ink Soul sighed, winked at Shadow Myth, and used his magic to move crates into a stairway, eyes clenched shut with concentration. Slowly, Ink stepped down the floating boxes, feeling for each new step. Suddenly, the unicorn set a hoof on a curved box and tumbled down the falling crates, just barely making it down.

"Woo...what in the world did I get myself into, leaving my writing for this..." Hurriedly, Ink cleaned himself up and looked about. Only the pegasi and him remained. Oh no...and now I had to go and get angry at Unity! Planning on finishing what he started, he trotted after them before turning to the waiting pegasi and looking sadly at them before running father from the two mares.

  8. Hello! I'm new to drawing ponies, but paper sketches and later drawing tablet sketches will be fine for me to do as requests. I have lots of free time. :blah:

Just ask! Specification is great, but sometimes just describing the pony and what feel you want will be better for me to draw. :) Thanks!

  9. Hops was thankful when Timbre Swing asked for a drink, and escaped the group, getting a drink and swinging it over to Timbre. "There ya' go!" Hops said merrily. "Nothing better after a good song."

Dusk was surprised at the question, and didn't see Hops running behind the counter. "Well, I guess there are indicators for it, that I'm an airship captain." The old mare chuckled. "Just your normal cloud flyer. Small, old beauty, sturdy as steel. Thin, night sky blue fabric, with iron edging and the works, with a nice wooden cabin."

  10. Ink Soul shrugged. "If you call successful only being known by an older, less known part of Canterlot, then use. But I enjoy it, and thats what matters." Pulling out a thick, tattered leather-bound book, he pushed it over to Dunder. "First one. Took a while, and it was never titled...by me, anyways. The publishers, who had trouble getting it through, named it Sleeping Insanity, but I never thought it was as dark as that, to deserve such a name. Just the story-or stories-of a ponies strange, reality-shifted dreams."

  11. The unicorn ducked and weaved through the trees, slowly approaching the trail. Looking behind himself, the unicorn saw two others, another one close behind, chasing after him. Quickly, he saw the trail ahead, and was about to follow it when a thought hit him.

I can't go into town with all those ponies! Hope those others don't just go down the trail... Then, the skinny, not so athletic pony jumped onto the trail, and quickly fumbled, legs buckling. No!!! I knew I should have taken those exercise classes! Grunting, he heard the roar and jumped, crashing down and twisting a hoof. Hissing with held-back pain, the unicorn tried to get up, but just lay back down at the fire that coursed through him. Get it together, Ink Soul!

  12. (Sorry to poke and prod, but Dusk Sky is a girl. :P)

Captain Dusk Sky stepped inside to hear the prays of her less strong passengers, and sighed a little. Putting on her hat, which she had of in the storm stepped forward and lay a hoof on a crying mother and her daughter, and the old mare smiled warmly at her.

"Come on, ol' girl. This storm ain't nothin' compared to some I've navigated." The rest of the ponies that had been crying out for their lives and watched her. "I'm certain I could keep tons of glassware from even chipping in a storm such as this." Then the yellow mare walked into the center of crowd and gently helped the youngsters and fragile, both mentally and physically, back to their feet. Warmly helping a small colt and his sister, she grinned and was rewarded by a more comfortable grin then before.

  13. Spiri sighed a little, but followed anyway as the little dragon reached the clearing where the group stood. A strange feeling filled him as he saw the two eyes staring out of the greenery. Another dragon? he wondered, and snuck away, much to his surprise the little dragon was plucked into the tree by a pony with huge dragon wings tipped with pegasus feathers! One big, brawny hoof went over his small mouth, and Thrylos glared at the little dragon, looking through his New Lunar Republic armor.

"Don't make a sound." Thrylos growled, and the green dragon took a piece of dark cloth and covered his mouth.

  14. As Dusk Sky smiled at how kindly the waitress was taking the crowd, but was suddenly drawn away by the gray stallion that stood by. He too seemed to notice something before trotting of. Shaking herself away as well, she came over to Stormsong.

"Really, I can help. Care for me to take some orders?" For some reason, the earth pony just really needed to solidify her suspicions about that pony...
