Just saw 'Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark". Neat idea. Boring movie.

I'm just really really curious who was in that coffin!
As for an on screen death. Ehhh. Don't see that happening. Or...
Maybe Trixie! She learns the dangers of blood magic..Duh Duh Duh Daah.

Too freaking cute.

I loved Dungeon. Not only was it basically a loveletter to classic D&D, the Displacer Beast, voiced by Jim Cummings had some of the funniest lines in season 1 at least
Wasn't that Clancy Brown?

I love the show. They take something that at first looks really colorful and cute , which is actually a cover over a somewhat dark show. It takes place after the freaking apocalypse..And the episode, "Holly Jolly Secrets" took a goofy character and gave him a bit of a deep and depressing back-story.
And just like MLP, we still haven't got a good DVD out of the show either. Meh.

All CN has going for is Adventure Time, Regular Show, Young Justice, Venture Brothers and the upcoming Green Lantern toon. Actually, that's pretty good for a 'dead' channel.

How did we survive in a DVR-less world? I don't care what time it's on, just as long as my DVR scoops it up. Still, the show deserves to be in a prime spot (8PM). It's not like the Hub has anything else to watch...

For something as short and with such simple graphics, they did a really good job making it very creepy. Loved that one, along with "Cutie Mark Crusade" is another fun one, it's still in alpha-beta-omega-whatever-demo form, but I was surprised on just how good it was. If only Hasbro could get somebody like Doublefine to make a MLP game..Or even Telltale Games..
Anyone know any other good MLP fan games?

I remember seeing all this pony-stuff on the assorted art sites I frequent. I was rather annoyed by the sheer amount of it. I remember MLP from the toys and the really awful cartoons my sisters would have in ye olden days, so I just assumed the show was the same "Pink pink! Wuv everyone heart heart" crap. Boy I was wrong!

Snails always felt like he is just entering colthood, like Fluttershy was entering fillyhood from "Cutie Markk Chronicles" and thus suffering from a growth spurt. Snails may be younger, or simply a later bloomer, or simply always going to be small (although he comes off as the smarter of the pair).
Yeah. Snails is a runt and he's following the time-honored comedy tradition of smart short fat guy befriending a tall, thin dumb guy.

Ya... I mean, maybe they're just older.
Yeah, they always looked more like gawky teens to me..

And you can't forget...

I REALLY wish they stuck to a sort of steam-punk fantasy setting, but I guess the writers are going to throw in whatever seems fun for a scene. Mind you, I think all that stuff was thrown in for the song. Don't think some pony is going to have his bath tub sitting in the middle of town..Or those yelly jars. When the song stopped, all that stuff sort of poofed away.

You wonder if they make (apple) Jack Daniels.

The only movie I've seen so far that REALLY used 3D, as opposed to others where it's just tacked on was Avatar. Mind you, the movie felt more like a theme park ride than an actual movie, but the 3D just worked...

I do feel bad for the guy next to her. He never got to hear the end of the story!

What are you people talking about? Its obvious the senate scenes will benefit hugely from 3D!!!
Thanks for that comment. I nearly choked to death on my beverage as I read that. Heh.
I didn't HATE PM. They just could have hired an actual actor to play Annie (I heard they had to digitally change the actors eyes to keep them from staring at the camera), Jar Jar could have been ditched, and they could have pushed the rather dull senate scenes and we'd all be happy campers. Jedi Fighting = Good. Debating space politics = bad!

On the "Ninja Costume', I kind of chuckled when I saw that. The black works, but it's going to be hard to be sneaky when you have a rainbow colored tail hanging from the back there.

Ah, where would we be without the Interwebs And The Googles? Welcome to the board!

Reminds me of 'Batman The Animated Series'. It was supposed to be set in the present, but the tech was all weird. They didn't have color movies/TV, and their computers were of the LARGE FONT variety. The bloop bloop types, but they also had VR. They also had Police zeppelins. I think they just went with whatever looked cool or worked with the script. Note we still haven't seen any TVs or movie theaters in MLP and considering the lines they get for APPLE Cider, there probably isn't a lot of entertainment options around Ponyville.
As for the episode, I was HAPPY not to see the generic Indiana Jones rolling boulder cause EVERYONE does that in Indy parodies. While watching this episode, I was sitting there, WAITING for the boulder to come, and was thankful when it didn’t.

Welcome here mate!
Not really on topc here, but who the heck did your avatar pic? That's kind of cool.

Thanks guys! It's a shame my post was lost in THE VOID, cause, not only was it awesome, it also contained the secrets of the ancients, the truth behind bigfoot, and winning lottery numbers, but I guess you'll never see it!
Now I got to post another, and I will be free!

Giving a priest a noogie during a funeral..Ehh. I'm guessing there's at least four or five sins she's committing there.
